I ordered a Britax Frontier from the site about 1 yr ago, before they ran into such terrible troubles with their credit card processing company. I had nothing negative to say about my experience. At the time I ordered, my seat was back-ordered, but the owner kept me posted on when my seat would ship. I loved how the proceeds went to Kyle David Miller Foundation & always referred people to the site. It saddens me greatly to see what's happened to the site & as a small business owner myself, I really feel for her. I hope that things get straightened out.

Ditto to what the other two comments have both said. I ordered my seat on the 13th of April and to this day, April 27,2010, I have not heard a word, I have not be responded to in emails that I have requested, there is no phone number for support, and I have no car seat. Even just contacting me to let me know when it will ship would be so much more accepted. I really love the idea of the organization and the idea of they profiting absolutely nothing to provide safe car seats for needy families is awesome but hey... what about my needy child?

Terrible, terrible, terrible! I very much wanted to support this cause. I hope that she started with the best of intentions and maybe just outgrew herself? I am not sure but I ordered a car seat on June 13, and my credit card was charged through Pay Pal immediately. I emailed her after several days to see what the status was and she did reply saying it would be shipped out the next day and she would send me a shipping tracking #. I never got it. I emailed her 2 more times (as there is no phone # to call - RED FLAG!) and got no response. I went through Pay Pal Resolution center and it took another 17-18 days to get money reimbursed but they were great about doing so! She doesn't take credit cards - see why on her website? Another Red Flag! Sorry but this is a lot of money to spend on something and just ignored after paying for it. I need a safe car seat within a reasonable time of ordering it! I went to Albeebaby.com and supposed to be delivered today (4 days!) - will update if that is not good!

I ordered a Britax Roundabout 50 carseat from hipmonkey.com. The website said that the seat would ship within a week. I am used to being charged when the item ships but my credit card was charged right away. After a week and a half of hearing nothing about the seat shipping I tried to contact the company. I could not find a phone number anywhere. I found that the company is associated with the Kyle David Miller foundation and I could not find a phone number for them either. I tried running a reverse phone lookup using the address I was given on the confirmation e-mail and I could find nothing there either. The messages I sent have gotten no response.

I am horrified that a company attached to a foundation committed to child safety is taking people's money and failing to give them the safe car seats which it so vehemently advocates. If you believe in the company's message be sure to avoid them at all costs.

First off here are the phone numbers I have for them (P) *******163
(F) *******026 however when you call the phone number you just get an answering machine and no one has yet returned my phone calls I have not bothered faxing. The reason I have this number is because I ordered from them in the past and after being told the car seat I ordered was no longer available I paid more for another and was then told it was on back order and would arrive in two weeks... it was finally delivered. We decided to replace a car seat in our truck and I again placed an order with hipmonkey.com on April 13,2010 which qualified for free same day shipping It is now april 28th, my credit card has been charged and I have received no email stating this order has been fulfilled nor have I received said car seat. Seven emails have gone unanswered and numerous phone messages have gone unanswered as well. I have emailed through the website as they suggest for "quick response" I also went back to my earlier order and found an email *******@hipmonkey.com When I emailed that address I got and auto reply out of office where the body of email said "Hi,
I am no longer handling Customer Service for Hip Monkey. Please send all emails to the owner at *******@hipmonkey.com. Thanks." I of course emailed Christine and guess what? No answer! I found her personal account on facebook and messaged her... guess what? No answer, and finally I went to hipmonkey's facebook page as suggested on their website. I posted there and guess what? My post was deleted in less than thirty seconds. I hope you have more luck than I did but I would love to hear if you are successful getting your car seats because as of right now I plan on waiting the thirty days my credit card company requires to begin an investigation and the I plan to start that process. In addition I plan on contacting my State Attorney General. The address that is listed on the purchase email is not the same that my credit card company has. The bottom of the response email from hipmonkey saying they received my order read amarillo Texas when my credit card company says they are listed with them in Colorado.

Iam so disgusted right now! I ordered a britax marathon on early Monday morning (2am), it was in stock and should have shipped that day and taking two days to get her (that was per the website. Well i recieved an order confirmation email that still stated the my iteam was in stock, so i became a little worried when by tuesday i still hadnt received a shipping confirmation. I went back to the website and it had the product listed as out of stock, but i know that my product was available, because when i tried to add the out of stock car seat it wouldn't allow it into my cart. I know it must sound like im being a bit hasty in getting so upset, but after reading all of these reviews, i can't help but think that it'll be over a month before i get it. Ive emailed christine twice and sent in two "tickets" but havent had a response to any of them. I just want to know whats going on! Im on the verge of calling my bank and claiming that it is a fruadgulant company and having my money reissued. I don't know what to do! Except inform everyone i know to avoid this website by all cost!

The only reason I did not give this site 1/4 stars is the cheap prices on the car seats.

Here is my experience with HipMonkey.com-- I ordered a car seat that was apparently out of stock (even though it didn't say it was out of stock when I bought it). They e-mailed me a few days after my order and said they were getting more seats in 2 weeks and would promptly ship mine out and e-mail me with a tracking number.

It has now been 2 and a half weeks, and I still have no car seat. I have also gotten no e-mail back as to when and if they have received any new seats. Had I known they were out of stock of this seat, I would have spent 20 bucks more and bought it on Amazon! At least I would have a new car seat now, which my son needs (he is almost too big for the one he has now).

Unfortunately, their customer service has not done squat for me (except a half assed apology) for this inconvenience, and I will never be doing any more business with them again.
