“Be very wary of this website”

Be very wary of this website. I can't actually brand it a scam, but it certainly is very close to that. I've repeatedly tried to look for flights on this website and I've conducted the same search [same dates, same route] for a few consecutive days, at different hours. EVERY SINGLE TIME, the price for my selected flight was the same [and a good £200 less than what I could find on other websites, so it obviously looked very tempting]. However, once I was ready to book my flight, I kept receiving the same message over and over again, no matter how quick I was to book my flight before any possible price change - "Sorry, the fare you've selected is no longer available. The cheapest fare are in high demand, and availability can occassionally change during a booking. Please select an alternate fare from the search results or call our offline travel specialist on *******679." Unsurprisingly enough, if I went back to do a fresh new search, the price was unchanged, but I'd still get the same message. I did a quick search on the internet and I came across various forums and threads debating the same issues with this website. It seems that this is the preferred way in which these guys operate. They first quote the user a very low and tempting price and then the system prompts him/her with the above message, trying to get the users/potential clients to call the website and then be offered a much higher price. Apparently, in some cases, users were able to go through with the entire booking process, receive their confirmations and then the second day they would receive another message saying that their booking or payment was failed, that the price increased and that they needed to speak to an operator who would then, again, quoted them a much higher price. I've also complained about this website to skyscanner, as it was their website where I came across this misleading and deceiving "holidaygenie". Again, BEWARE!
