Hook N Clay

Shes made several facebook accounts and has even posted at 3pm saying it was her husband who works til 6pm that he just saw her crying. Im no dic brown but im sure time travel hasnt been invented yet. Her hooks are rip offs of others designs and she is so far behind on her orders that she owes $******* in refunds but spent all the money from her orders that she cant refund people. Shes made promises to get orders done before making ready to sell but again she lied and is even offering a giveaway for a contest. Seriously wtf. Do NOT trust this person

Jenny is an awful business person. She will take your money and run. If you call her out and demand a refund she will block you, ignore your messages, and eventually resort to profanities. I only got my money back after measaging her on all forms of social media. She makes her living by screwing the nice people of the crochet community. Don't give her your money! Jenny if you are reading this, I hope you know how terrible you are! How dare you take money from innocent people!

She's willing to take everyone's money but she doesn't bother sending you the product! She's changed her shop name to ClayandEvergreen for a while, but I'm glad she finally quit after most people stopped buying from her. I hope she never returns to business because she's not cut out for it! I got most of my money back thanks to Paypal, but still lost $120 from that crook!

I ordered a set from her a year ago and still delay delay delay. Only til last night I posted all over her page where's my order she responds and always an excuse. I am filing a report with PayPal over her and I found her address online I am contacting her local police department and seeing if there is anything they can do. I am not letting this go I gave her over 150 of my money. And it makes me sick she's done this to so many people. I'm not letting this go and I'm sure if I ever get my order it will be all broken or messed up

I have been trying to get a refund from this company that is now called clay and evergreen(look for it and spam it) to no avail Jenny González y a Liar and a crook! She has now blocked my coments so her high profile Instagram clients dont find out the Big scam she is! Something has to be done! She keeps doing this over and over under different names! WTH!

This woman presents herself as a legit business and will act like she's operating in good faith when you're ordering from her. Once you order she will go dark, once you ask her for an update of your order she will tell you she will mail out your order by the end of the week, that day comes and goes and you wont hear from her. She stopped answering me for so long that I started commenting on posts she was tagged in asking when they got their hooks because she's been scamming people, that's when I would get a response. Unfortunately she's destroyed my trust in all hook makers.

Jenny Gonzales, owner of Hook. N. clay has cheated me and I let her get away with it for way too long! I ordered crochet hooks Oct. 9,2016, sent $110.00. She kept putting me off and telling me she was way behind in her orders. I stupidly ordered a Christmas Hook on special and sent another $30.00. I have not received my orders. She even had me re-email what I wanted a couple of months ago. That's great business, right!? She didn't even have a record of what I had ordered. Please, don't order from her. Don't make my mistake. She's banned me from Instagram because she knows she's in the wrong. I've tried to be nice but it hasn't worked. Anything negative or questioned about shipments has been deleted by her. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE beware!

Thief! This person takes money and doesn't deliver products! She claims she'll be refunding money and never does! BEWARE! Apparently she has closed her candle business "Pacific Northwick". She is once again trying to sell her hooks but with the new name "Clay and Evergreen"!

I purchased 2 hooks at the beginning of September when she had a 6 to 8 week turnaround time. She closed her etsy shop, and I was foolish enough to order another hook mid November, with a promised delivery in 2 weeks. As we got closer to Christmas, and I still had not received my hooks, I contacted her. It was especially upsetting to see that the hooks I HAD ordered were being offered as ready to ship, and when I asked if any of those were mine, I kept being told my order was almost ready.

She DID offer that if I wanted my hooks right away, I could pay an extra $13 rush fee to be bumped up to the top of her list.

Multiple times she said she was closing her shop to catch up on orders but not once did I see that happening.

There had been a dispute with another clay hook maker, since the owner of hook n clay had copied those designs. If youre not blocked from her Instagram account, you can see that her new designs always coincide with another designers release. While she may be talented in her work, her creativity is stolen from other designers.

I finally got tired of the runaround, so I requested a full refund in January. She told me to take it up with etsy. Unsurprisingly, I could do nothing through etsy since that shop was closed. I contacted paypal and discover to discuss my options and opened a claim for both transactions. Only then did I get an instant response from her claiming my hooks were done and ready to ship and that I should have given her a heads up that I was filing claims. She said shed refund my money if I dropped the claims. I didnt figure that would be smart on my end.

She has deleted her latest posts that shes closing her shop and the one by her husband offering refunds and responses to emails. She has listed new hooks available to ship. Considering how many people she had lied to, I hope others stay away from her. Unless screenshots are immediately taken of her posts, they will be deleted as well as negative comments.

No matter how pretty her hooks might be, please dont do business with her! There are other talented, honest ladies creating hooks.

She steals your money, fakes sending your product and then blocks you. She's trying to start a new company called pacificnorthwick_cc to start scamming people all over again. Don't fall for it! She only actually sends her product to big name instagramers

This person is a crook! She owes so many people money. She kept taking orders from people BUT stopped making & shipping the hooks. I will consider myself lucky if I ever get a refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HER. See other reviews about her new business venture Pacific Candlewick. BUYER BEWARE!

She has scammed so many people. She constantly lies and tell you she has sent your order with a free gift card, knowing she hasn't sent anything. She will keep her lies going for awhile, and then she will start blocking people. She is constantly changing her business name. The sad part is, most people don't know this website exists before they purchase a hook. I happen to stumble upon it, and wish I could have seen the reviews before I purchased a hook from her. It's sad to see how greedy be can be! Hopefully others will find this website and post their reviews because she needs to be stopped!

Stay away from this business. Strickly works through socail media. Charges a lot for her custom crochet hooks. People are waiting months for their items that theyve paid up front for. She gives false tracking numbers that weeks later still have no activity. She will curse you if you ask her where your items are. She had 600 orders from people, at $30 dollars each plus the shipping fee. YOU DO THE MATH. She is a manipulator. She steals other hook makers designs. She will block all negative or HONEST comments on any of her social media platforms and she will block you all together. She asks that you send money to her personal email address through Paypal under Friends and Family. Shes shady and just a nasty person all together. She has burned so many customers... her Business Professionalism is comical. STAY AWAY... Take your business elsewhere!

The worst experience ever with any business, big or small. I wish I had opened a dispute case with my credit card company in time, but I trusted her for far too long that now it's too late. I was waiting for my orders to ship for 9 months before I finally came to a conclusion that she would never ship anything to me. I requested a refund 6 months ago, and it's still nothing. Jenny Gonzalez still owes me over $100. It might seem stupid that people waited for so long to request refunds but because of the type of her business, long waits didn't seem unusual at that time. She gave us all kinds of promo codes and gift cards for "being patient" which ended up as just a waste because the orders people placed with those promo codes and gift cards didn't ship either. She tries to win your sympathy with piles of invalid excuses and empty promises. She'd curse at you and ban you from her SNS if you insisted on refunds, so you wouldn't be able to contact her anymore. She's a massive manipulator. She changed the website platform from Etsy to BigCartel then to Instagram sale, changed the names of her business, and opened a new business now so she can continue stealing from people. JUST STAY FAR AWAY from any involvement with Jenny Gonzalez. I'll report her and her businesses to the appropriate authorities (anyone who has had bad experiences with her should too -- the number of complaints matters when the authorities consider actions). Hopefully she'll face the consequences of what she has done to so many people across the nation and possibly overseas. She's a CRIMINAL.

I ordered 2 hooks from her and after ordering the 2nd hook that was supposed to be "ready to ship" she printed a shipping label so i assumed i would get it within the following week. I never received the hook so i sent her a message where she told me she was trying to finish my other hook so they could ship together and i was like oh ok thats fine! Well week after week went by and she never shipped either hook and when i would ask her when she would say they are on their way shipping will update soon. Seller is a liar. I wouldnt mind waiting for my hooks to ship if the seller would be honest and say she was behind but no she has to lie about everything. This is the first time i have ever had to hunt down a purchase too. I spent good money on these hooks and afterwards i felt like a bounty hunter trying to find them! Also if your so behind on peoples orders here is some common sense QUIT MAKING NEW DESIGNS AND TAKING MORE ORDERS AND TAKING MORE MONEY UNTIL YOU ARE FULLY CAUGHT UP! Glad I just went ahead and made a claim through paypal to get my money back. Sorry to all those she has scammed that didnt catch on fast enough and can no longer file a claim

Ordered a hook from her on December 22nd and only got a response from her after sending several emails, the last email mentioning that I had reported her to the better business bureau. She has sent me a shipping confirmation and nothing else. She has gone by several other business names including Clay and Evergreen and Hook N Clay. Apparently she shuts down her operation and changes her business name after taking everyone's money. I have since filed a formal complaint with the BBB, filed a claim with my bank so they can go after her, and have contacted the attorney general to report her, hoping the Kelso police department will get involved. The money I lost isn't what bothers me, it's the fact that she is stealing from everyone! She should be behind bars.
