Have been using hostmonster for 10+ years and have had no problems with them. Their customer service is very helpful and all problems have been resolved quickly. You can register 1 free domain name per year with hostmonster. I have been registering my domains through godaddy.com and hosting my website with hostmonster.com.
They pressured me into upgrading my account. An upgrade that I did not need and rendered my company website and email inoperable. After 4 days of phone calls and tech support they did not resolve the problem because they are inept or did not care. I had to change web hosting companies to fix the problem. Use any other web hosting company!

My card was charged auto and i relise it, i open dispute then they refund me and told me to stop the dispute, i have stopped it then now i see extra cost on my account, they try to suck blood out... i will never work such company again... THE BEEING TREATHEN ME, IF YOU WANT DOMAIN THEN PAY IT... THEY LOCK ME, I CAN NOT MAKE ANY MOVEMENT...
AN YES I WILL NEVER BUY DOMAINS FROM YOU AND ALSO NEVER WORK WITH YOU AGAIN... I WILL GIVE UP MY 3 YEAR DOMAIN AND WILL NOT PAY THEM,
THE GAME HERE, THEY TOLD ME TO END THE DISPUTE, I ENDED AND THEY PUNISHED ME EXYTRA MONEY... THEY LOVE MONEY MORE THEN CUSTOMERS
