It was after the policy deadline (two full days before the check-date, which I hadn't realized), but my reason for the last-minute cancellation (smoke related hazardous air in the region) was outside my control, and I wasn't aware of it until the day before check-in. I tried the phone menu many times, which finally put me into an endless loop in which it didn't accept my answer (last 4 digits of credit card number). It finally hung up on me. Whenever I managed to reach a human being, they were very nice and sympathetic, but all they could do was to transfer me to customer service, i. E. put me again into the endless loop. I wish I had visited this review page before making a reservation!

Tip for consumers:
In this case, I would have been better off booking directly through the hotel itself rather than an online booking service.
Worst company ever. Have no idea what the rooms they are recommending, then take no responsibility on the rooms they book. Very bad people and company. Stay away at all costs
