HuluPlus

This use to be a great app, but recently it keeps going up in price, 3 times this past year, quite an increase. Then they remove shows I have been watching for years. Looking at other apps who are not constantly raising prices and removing popular shows!

I have been subscribed to huluplus.com for over 3 years. In that time it has improved with the amount of tv shows and movies it has. I have paid extra just to have no commercial interruptions that has been so beneficial to me. My time with a show or movie is my time and not time for commercials so yes Huluplus.com works great for someone like me.

Whoever the product manager is must think that we pay our fees to admire the artsy, world-class annoyance of a UI they've switched to. It impedes the customer's access to product, by putting 10 clicks between you and shows you regularly watch, and an slowly clicking through an unlimited number of viewing offerings one show at a time if you're just browsing for something new.

When I canceled, they charged an extra month, and lied to American Express about my date of cancel. Good thing I used American Express.

I have been contacting HULU for 5 months to cancel there no good service; they "HULU" will not cancel and quit charging my credit card. Even disputed the charges with the card service and the denied 2 months of charges. But sure as day they continue to charge my card
Just sent them a final request and damn well will contact the attorney general and have them take over from this point. My advice don't do as I did because you will regret the choice and be ripped off for a long time.

This is not at all worth it to me. Between Netflix and my on demand cable, I'm covered. Hulu doesn't offer anything beneficial. If I get anything else it will be Amazon fire stick because they have different shows and content that Netflix and my cable does not have. I can also fast forward through commercials through my cable on demand shows (if there are any). You can't do that with Hulu. It would be so much better if they had their own series or if the plus were free.

Hulu is great for the price. You get so many shows and movies, etc. to choose from. However, they do need to iron out a few kinks in it. For example, when I let a show play on "auto play" so that the next episode will play, at least 3 times a day it will just stop and a bunch of question marks show up in the boxes where the episodes should be. If not for that, this would have been a 5 star review. 1 other thing, they need to caption all shows. I have had to go to Netflix to watch the same show because Netflix has captions for almost every show on it. I love Hulu plus. All in all, it really is a great deal for the amount of content you get. You get a wide variety of genres to choose from. I will continue to keep it, hoping that these 2 small problems will be ironed out. Thank you :)

The commercials are often, redundant, and offensive to some. Terrible streaming on any of my devices. Buffering or reloading invokes a commercial. If you happen to have a glitch during a commercial, it invokes a commercial and gets stuck in a recursive advertising loop! If we consumers have to pay a premium for the privilege of 8 commercial breaks per 1/2 hour of viewing then huluplus is a waste of money, regardless of the content

I haaaate the hulu update on xbox. If you have fallen asleep while your shows playrd through, you cannot just restart. You must "LB" EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. So inconvenient

If you are considering spending money on Hulu DON'T DO IT! I can get past the annoying commercials, I knew that was part of the deal when I signed up. I cannot however, get past the fact that I can not make it more than 10 minutes into any given program without constant skipping and buffering. I have yet to successfully watch a full episode of anything. Please do not tell me to do a speed test or check my router I am not an idiot, and furthermore, why is it that Netflix and Amazon seem to work perfectly fine without us speed testing or upgrading internet speeds, bandwidths etc. I will tell you why. Because Hulu doesn't care, they are making plenty of money with their thousands of paying yet unhappy subscribers. If everyone cancelled their Hulu accounts today and stopped lining their pockets for a half $#*! done job these execs would get it together and provide their subscribers with at least a half way decent product. So I urge you, if you are considering purchasing Hule DON'T DO IT and if you are one of the oh so many unsatisfied customers please CANCEL YOUR HULU SUBSCRIPTION!

I feel like someone at Hulu is watching my favorite because another tv program as been taken off before I could finish the last three seasons! Whats going on? I'm just about done with Hulu!

I've had Hulu for a few years now. I was so happy to cut the cord and start paying much less. Hulu has tons of content. No commercials either. However, the new (post May '17) Hulu is a total flop. The UI is lame, slow and confusing. The start page is very limited -- it's like you see one in at a time instead of many in the older version. The new Hulu makes it nearly impossible to read the descriptions. Plus, the autoplay has serious issues. You can't turn it off and every show that starts by auto play starts 20 minutes into the episode. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? Are the manages of Hulu $#*!ed or inept. Tons of users are disappointed AND PISSED. Get a clue Hulu, fix this mess. I hope another service comes out that offers hulu-like content, I'd be gone in a second.

There are so many complaints about the horrible streaming and it doesn't appear like Hulu is doing anything about it. I didn't even finish my free trial!

Hulu is the worst! Shows just stop for no reason. You have to watch as many ads as you would on TV, but worse than TV because the same ad is repeated over and over, every few minutes. To get away from the ads, I subscribed to Hulu Plus. Huge mistake! Still a horrible ad-to-content ratio and random stops, and now a money suck. Because I've lost my password, I can't un-subscribe (or use the site) in spite of spending hours trying to navigate their impenetrable system, which won't send me a password reset or let me email the company. Because I made (another) mistake of auto pay on my credit card, I'll have to cancel my card to get away from them. Bad, bad, bad.

Pay the monthly fee; get the upgrade; and you still have commercials!

Hulu Plus is not worth the $8 you pay for it. I got it so that I could watch my favorite show that played while I was at work and couldn't watch. I put up with it just to watch that season and decided to give a chance for the rest of that month because I already paid for it. The navigation is horrible and the letters to search are too small. Also another show I started to watch on Netflix happened to be in the middle of the next season so I thought good I can catch up through Hulu,... I was wrong! It would only show the last five episodes of the season at a time. This being months later they still only have the last five episodes on there. The add's are ridiculous I pay less for Netflix and have no commercials, easy navigation and overall satisfaction. If they maybe changed the commercials once in a while maybe more people would be able to handle it. The same annoying commercial over and over that by the time you're done watching your show you know by heart. Overall I give Hulu only one star and never recommend this to anyone.

I recently signed up for hulu plus non commercial plan, and so far it has been great. I also have netflix and amazon prime and although i like them all, i find hulu plus has the content that i like to watch the most. The video quality is excellent, they have tons of content both in tv and movie section and worth the price of 11.99 per month for the non commercial plan. I always read the reviews before signing up, and i find that you have to try it before knowing if you will like it or not, I have not been disappointed so far with hulu plus and probably be using this service more than the others. Having hulu plus, netflix and amazon prime i still saved 75 dollars per month by cancelling cable and get to watch what i want to watch. Hulu plus is definitely worth trying, great programs and video quality and service has been very good.

Okay... I have been a subscriber for over a year now... huluplus offers some different content than netflix does ( some of it newer, American Dad, Bones, Southpark, Once Upon a Time for example). The cost is 7.99 a month. I guess I would say to someone thinking about subscribing Use the Free Trial first to see if it has enough content that you like otherwise, you may find that it isn't worth your while to pay for this service. Also, there are short commercial interruptions... nothing like you experience on regular tv... but still not ad free. I have kept my subscription along with netflix only because I decided not to pay $80 a month for cable anymore. All and all, I have found the service to be worth the 7.99 fee.

Hey idiots STOP advertising nut based products after I do a google search for information on NUT ALLERGIES! And I don't have KIDS so I don't need diapers, nor do I have a freaking dog. CLUE-LESS! I was paying way too much for cable that I was never home to watch, which had my rent a PVR only for it not to work half the time and miss my recorded shows. I had enough so I decided to find alternative options. I was already subscribed to Netflix but that wasn't enough I needed more TV based options like live television. I came across Hulu an decided to give it a try and just absolutely love it. Majority of my shows are on here and I have the convenience of watching them whenever I want and never have to worry that they won't be recorded. The shows are loaded around midnight day after they aired on television.

They do have advertisements but who cares they're 10 second ads and you get maybe 2-3 of them in a 1 hour program (way better then cable). My subscription is $7.99/month and if i need to watch a few short ads to keep my costs low I'm okay with that. There are a few shows that Hulu doesn't offer through my Smart Tv but I can still access it through my computer.

I was paying around $100.00/month for cable + PVR rental and now I pay $16.00/month between Netflix and Hulu and i'm honestly satisfied between the two with the selections they have. I will never go back to cable again.

I highly recommend Hulu for someone who is looking to eliminate cable. Use the free trial and check out the shows available and see if it's for you.

The lack of depth in its offerings make this site only useful to extreme tv or movie watchers. The site also does not allow proxies to protect your privacy, this probably because they want to collect your data.

Ok, between Netflix, Amazon and Hulu - I was able to get rid of my cable. But, if I have the choice, I use Amazon or Netflix (no commercials!).

I appreciate that I can watch any show twenty four hours after it previews on network television. Yes, I still have commercials but I would have that on the network also.
