We've been very pleased with Humana Rx and otc delivery! There is no charge to us and the delivery comes on time.
Centerwell failed to let me know would not be auto renewed. When I requested a prescription renewal, I emphasized I would run out of the medication shortly. A week later, without being notified, I found out the refill was on hold. I remain without a medication my health team relies on daily for my continued survival. Centerwell does not even pretend to care about customer care in an industry where care and concern for the patients relying upon them should be paramount. I went to Walmart, and I know they will care, and come through.

I'm not alone. This company is a one star outfit across the board...

I could write a book chapter as to the incompetence. I repeatedly tell them don't send refill unless requested. They don't listen. Trying to have a conversation with their staff is a joke. There is absolutely no one in. Charge and worse no one cares. Tragic incompetentce

I was getting prescriptions ok some difficulty. However, they decided that a patient cannot be treated for pain (tramadol) and depression at the same time so they refused to fill my MD Rx for anxiety. They have made my life hell.
Tip for consumers:
My MD called, and sent 2 authorizations. The Rx clearly stated what the Rx was for.

I have been a customer and member of Humana Goldplus for 10 years and using Humana Pharmacy, now called as Center for Well. I am happy with their service, but find the medicine bottles have labels written in smaller letters and almost illegible and unreadable because of written in yellow background😩😩😩😳. Not ire who advised them to use unreadable yellow background instead of plain black and white like Walgreen does? Also the silky paper they use fades away the unreadable texts or written medicine name as well? This needs to be corrected as I take 7 medicines!

Tip for consumers:
Make sure the labels are in black & white in bigger bolder letters and not in yellowish unreadable fadingtyped letters?😳😩😩😩😩

The new web page is horrible to navigate. My most recent frustration is that I can't track the prescription I have ordered. The only people at Human who give me accurate information are the pharacists. Any other information is not trust worthy. For instance the drug prices are absurd and no where near accurate. And now this survey is asking for proof a purchase before it will send. Where do I find that proof in a form that will fit in their damned box?

Various prescriptions. The most recent is Spiriva and I can't find out when it will get to me.
CenterWell Pharmacy
1. Terrible customer service. Spoke to 3 agents by phone (only 1 was helpful) and to 1 by chat (who intentionally and abruptly ended chat without notice). Took about 3 hours total
2. Hidden policies. Policies aren't communicated anywhere in online ordering system, like limits on # of items. You can order a large quantity, order is confirmed, then later you receive cancellation with no explanation. I had many cancelled orders and only learned why after contacting them.
3. Awful practices. Website clearly says that OTC spending allowance needs to be used by December 31. We placed our final online order on December 26,2023, to use up remaining allowance for 2023 before December 31. CenterWell shipped the items in January 2024 and deducted from 2024 allowance. So we lost part of our allowance from 2023, because they didn't deduct the orders placed in 2023 from our 2023 allowance, and we now are already down in our 2024 allowance, even though we have not ordered anything in 2024! The website clearly says that funds do not roll over after December 31, but evidently CenterWell can deduct at their discretion. The only answer I received pointed to wording available ONLY in the print catalog that shows a December 20 deadline for submitting orders by MAIL. The wording is not found on online ordering site NOR does it say it applies to online orders. Following is the exact wording from mail-order catalog that customer service used to explain why our online shopping order placed in 2023 was deducted from the 2024 balance (capitalization added by me):
"For all members: MAIL AND FAX
Due to added time to receive your request by MAIL, we encourage you to allow extra time when placing your order. If you have a monthly allowance, submit your order by the 20th of each month. If you have a quarterly allowance, submit your order by the 20th of the last month of your allowance period. Last month of quarters are March, June, September, and December."
Ship this last extremely late order then I'm having all my medicine filled by someone reliable. Center well SUCKS! And the certainly don't care about it's patients! $#*!' em!

Too many prescriptions to make here
Two weeks ago I had sn ugly experience with CenterWell and dropped a bomb on them as a rating. Frankly, i was afraid to call back. I just did not want the headache. Well, today I called back and got a terrific agent named Jackie. She apologized for the problem and connected me with another good agent, and finally a pharmacist named Peter. He explained the strange changes in my prescription and worked out the details. I think the best way to work either CenterWell is if you get an agent who is not responsive to your needs, ask for another agent. For now. I upgraded my review. We will c if helpfulness becomes a standard
Tip for consumers:
Be patient. If the agent inst helpful ask for another or call back. Ask for a supervisor if necessary.

Perscription..and mail runs slowly, so its not all CenterWell's fault.
The prices they quote thru the Drug Pricing Tool on Humana.com when you log into your account are not the prices they or their referred pharmacies charge.
I was going to be billed $ 392.55 for a medication they quoted as $266.38 from them and $135 from Walmart. I attached the estimate but unfortunately canceled the order before I made a copy.
I wrote a negative review a while ago but they have made huge strides. And they've been renamed (merger? Acquisition?) as "Centerwell" which has so far been flawless. I'm going to give them five stars this time because of the excellent communications they are now doing.

Pharmacy for automatic refilling of all my prescriptions by mail.
Don't waste your time doing business with them, I was told I would owe 0 dollars for my prescriptions, just got a bill for 100$ so I call, no supervisor available the woman says I'm sorry this happened now how do you want to pay this! Obviously some departments within Humana have compentant people and then there's the pharmacy... they blatantly lied to me. I quickly switched everything back to my local pharmacy... please don't make the same mistake I made by listening to their lies.
Delay and more delay! Use work at home agents instead of qualifed people. Computer systems don't maintain information supplied. Failed to call me the customer to ask questions. Calls the doctor like they are somehow be more.kmowledgeable than me the patient who has been ordering my meds for years. I get hung up on and no callbacks.ever. They lie?!? Never would every use these people again!?
Tip for consumers:
Run from Humana!!

Meds not being sent due to their issues
Since starting with Humana, I have experienced fast delivery, and great customer service. I give them an overall A+!
My package has been around the world. From Texas to Arkansas to Illinois back to Texas and back to Illinois in a weeks time. They refuse to call Fedex and find out what the problem is and no supervisor is available. They never call back.
I ordered some vitamins. Calcium gomez They were Shipped via fedex and it has been so hot That they melted in the truck.
Customer service will only replace them but no refund. So if they ship again, same thing will happen.
But If I say don't ship don't Don't send
I will lose out on the purchase price.
Customer service, will not give me a different way out.

I love Humana health care Insurance. I hate their pharmacy. I have had countless problems with representatives on phone. They tell you one thing, then it doesn't happen. I call back again to find out why it didn't happen and the 2nd rep tells me something completely different. Their automatic system sends my emails that aren't true or accurate. I am about ready to switch to local pharmacy. Come on Humana insurance, your pharmacy is making you look bad.

While ordering my monthly over the counter items, when I got to the multi-vitamins called Sentry Senior, which I usually get, the description said 60 tablets, but the photo shown that day clearly showed 265 tablets. I called to speak with a rep, who said he'd pass on the info. This is clearly an error, and the two were not proof read. Today, over a month later, I received a call, the girl apologized, but said that they 'could not' make it good and send me a couple more bottles. She would/could not give me a legitimate reason why. It's not that they could not satisfy the customer, it's that they would not satisfy the customer. Bad way to handle this, as it would not be any big deal to send me a couple more bottles, and then make sure the photo and description match. Simple. Not happy. This photo is from today, a month later and it's STILL INCORRECT.
Tip for consumers:
Although there are reps with whom you can speak, they are not helpful in any resolution to make the customer happy. And they will not give you a reason why they 'cannot' do that. In my opinion, that is NOT customer service.

Humana Mail Order Pharmacy is the worst service i have ever encountered since I have been retired. It changed its name to CenterWell, but they still are the same crappy service. They want to charge me 150.00 for a 95.99 refill prescription. I am in the coverage gap and the photo shows that i should only pay 95.00 when using their preferred mail order. I have only paid 95.00 for each of my insulin prescriptions all year long. Even though the plan documentation agrees with my reasoning. Each employee tells you something different each time you talk with them on the phone. Do Not Use this service. "They are Thieves!"
Tip for consumers:
Run! Do Not Choose Humana for Medicare!

I am on Medicare and I have a plan D with Humana. And I use Centerwell Pharmacy. Recently, two of my doctors retired. Since Ceterwell calls the doctor when your prescription needs renewal, I went online to add the new doctors to my account. GUESS WHAT? THEY WOULDN'T DO IT. How crazy is that? After all these years, I am looking around for a new Plan D provider.
Tip for consumers:
I recommend that you should look around before using Centerwell (Humana).
Trying to log into the website is near impossible. Once logged in you're kicked out only to start over. Making changes takes multiple tries then doesn't become effective. I simply give up. I currently have a supply of medications into 2025! Thanks!
Tip for consumers:
Even with auto refill prescriptions, they bother to contact you with phone calls with "telemarketer" ID that you have to return to get meds sent.

I usually had about eight prescription orders oftentimes they mix them up
This is by far the worst mail-order pharmacy I have ever worked with... when you call in I have had agents hang up the phone with on me when I get frustrated because it's been 2 weeks before I get a script that my doc had faxed in. I will definitely be switching to CVS even tho more money, absolutely worth it. Lousy service and idiot agents answering the calls. I would give them a big fat 0 if I could!
The first year was ok. This second year has been an absolute nightmare. Takes over 2 weeks to receive a prescription. I could die before I get my meds from these assclowns! Hey Humana, if all of your customers die you will be out of business! Just thought you might want to know, YOU need the customer, the customer can (and this one will) go elsewhere. You are not the only insurance company or pharmacy in this screwed up healthcare system!
I've been using Humana Pharmacy for several years but in the past six to nine months something has happened there's some Missing Link at HUMANA regarding CONTACT INFO they say that they don't have the information to get in touch with you when you just received a text from them that morning and everything online has not changed for over 5 years. I do love Humana but I wish they would get primary contact info links worked out - it's a little frustrating to try to deal with them lately and it takes many phone calls back and forth and calls to your doctor to get an order on the way - it shouldn't happen, I AM TRYING TO BE PATIENT WITH WORK FORCE PROBLEMS WE HAVE NOW!
Tip for consumers:
Try to work with whoever it is and be patient!
