The Cleaning Authority - Humble, TX

I had an initial walk through where we discussed items that would be included in my cleaning. I was given a list of the items that would be covered on my detail clean which was costing me a bit more money in addition to the regular cleaning and rotation. When I reviewed the list against what had and hadn't been cleaned I emailed the manager to let her know. She immediately sent another team out to clean and they did a great job. For my 2nd detail clean there were again items not cleaned on my list so I emailed the manager again with a list. I then was told a number of things that are not covered in my cleaning like picking up items on a table to clean under them and they wanted to charge me $60 to clean my shower the first time then $10 weekly. I said no way. The owner then calls me to cancel my service because he said I was costing them too much money. I said I was only asking them to clean what was on my schedule and what I was paying for. He insisted they needed to cancel or greatly increase my price because the housekeepers said my house was messy. I'm really insulted at this point and I said well isn't that the reason for a cleaning service in the first place. I hardly call 5 items on a table messy beyond cleaning. Also I presented a coupon for $50 off my cleaning and was told twice that I was credited only to be billed the full amount. I only got the credit after having to request a couple of times. I would not use this service. They do not stand behind their guarantee and you will pay a premium for minimum work. According to the owner, they will be in and out of your house in an hour!

I definitely will not purchase from this cleaning service again. The customer service is awful. The cleaning was mediocre. The maids broke a vase while they were inside my home and they left a note apologizing. I tried contacting the owner regarding my broken vase and he still has yet to return my calls or emails. The maids did not sweep nor mop my floors even though they “claim” that is number one on their list of items. The owner also charged my card without my authorization. I was informed that he has done this to several customers. I would suggest using a check for payment if you choose this company for services. He was more concerned with getting his $130.00 than true customer service. I still have not received any compensation for my broken vase. This is a very unprofessional owner and business and I would suggest you take your business elsewhere.

I have used the Cleaning Authority for 3 years now, and I will NOT trust my home with anyone else. The professional housekeepers are just that. PROFESSIONAL! I've never had an issue with anything, they are on time, affordable, accessible, and very thorough. I can't thank them enough for their hard work!

Tracy and Kathey did a wonderful job, and they were very fast too.
