Customer service is really went down. I had my bank card canceled because I tried to order a cell phone from a cell phone company. It's his last bank card I had didn't work in stores but it worked online?. I called the helpline twice within the month it was supposedly put on the call back list, never got a call back... And many more instances but this latest one made me decide to close my account. I went there to cash a check from my ex-husband. We live in a small village everybody knows everybody which is all good. So the first time I took the check he had some substitute Jackson till he got his in the mail so I took the check up went to drive through she come back and said she could not cash the check because he did not print his name on the front or left hand side. But he signed it where it was supposed to be signed and apparently you don't have to print your name on it if you're a customer there. Anyway I took the check back he signed it I took it back to the bank but different lady was at the window, she took the check and said she'd be right back okay. Again I waited and then the first woman that dealt with me came to the window got the check then they both came back to the window and they asked me if I was staying back in this town. I don't know what it mattered but I'm not I live in a different town now have for 6 months and I'm at the bank every week. So I give her my address and as soon as I gave it to her she asked me again if I was staying over here in this little town. I was shocked I said what, she said oh I just need your ZIP code? I was confused in a little upset it was like they didn't want to cash the check for me. And does it matter where I'm staying to cash a check? Their system was down. If it was down why didn't she say something when she took the check in the first place instead of saying I'll be right back? So the following week I went through my money.

We need new leadership. The current "market president" has no clue. No one respects him, he holds no one accountable, he's not known or respected in the market and leaves everyday at 2pm. Please send help so we can attract talent. He can't attract any talent from all the places he's worked at. No one wants to work for him. No respect.

I had a checking account there for 3 years. Recently a scammer got into my account and put through a bad check. They fit off access to my account and my debit card. Did not inform me there was a problem. When my social security check was deposited they told me I couldn't until the next day because they were closing my account. Said come back tomorrow Feb. 3 and you can get your money. Go back the next day told me they returned it. Found out today they didnt do anything with it for 3 days. A week later I'm still trying to find my money. Treated me very badly.

Presented the false charges from Skrill (another review) to my bank - the Huntington National Bank (Columbus) and they were on it like pit bulls. They took care of the ALL the false charges, no problems to my account. One of many reasons, they have had my money for nearly 30 years. Always feel 'Welcome'. They'll be getting atta-boys on here so the 5 starts aren't really enough. There was another regional bank who claimed to be the 'only bank you'll ever need'. Which turned out to be the worst bank I ever had after messing up a personal loan, they're done.

Very disappointed with a bank we have been with for several years and several accounts. We have had our share of problems but we lived in Ohio and could always go to a local bank. Hence we come up to the present day! ;) On a regular weekday - we waited for over 65 minutes because I could not log on to our account that I have been on several times before but not recently. We have moved out of state but we figure everyone NOW banks online, correct?! So what is the big deal to NOT have a local bank? Well-- now we know today! Huntington does not do online banking services so beware!

Again, waiting 65 long agonizing minutes to come down to Bree or Bri - we got nothing but an attitude--- I mean the kind that just basically says can't do anything for so good-bye. You know it is frustrating that when you are concerned you cannot log on that basically a computer says you DON'T exist and that we are concerned that there is a security break down with your money. Hence after a battle of wits and a lot of negotiating with no compromising- we had to ask for a supervisor because she shrugged her shoulders when she said we need to come into a bank that the closest one is 250 miles away. And we are like "hey what?!" You know that most people bank online?

The long story now or short of it -Huntington we have been through a lot with you and after we have 4 accounts plus 2 business accounts- we should have at least customer service but I guess not being a thousand heirs is NOT good enough for them! LOL :P. It seems that after a supervisor and 3 hours it got resolved. Time wasted in a lot of ways and a rep that basically the supervisor told us said she could have done the same thing---- but didn't. You hear that!

AGAIN! After all that, the customer service rep could have done the same thing and chose not to which seems to be a theme with call-in centers just do not have customer service any longer. It was work mind you but we had to start back and re-enroll my part of it because Huntington forgot I existed at least online.

We are now "in the know" that Huntington call centers and they are for "US" and if you are NOT in the state- you don't have a bank with Huntington was our last resolve. -They have a long way to go for online banking. Too bad too sad so we are going to move on out of the bank as well as we did Ohio. ;)

Tip for consumers:
Don't use 800 number because of lack of customer service and the long wait times
