Understanding your competitors is key to several industries and importyeti makes that job so simple that anyone can do it. A lot of companies say they can provide this information but want to charge a fortune and none of the ones I've tried compared to import yeti. While the service is technically free we do choose to donate a small amount monthly because of how awesome the services are.

I have used websites similar but nothing compares to import yeti. The information offered is insane giving things like frequency of shipments and the order amounts with dates.The process of having to go and look up individual suppliers has been eliminated with the clickable links available on the site, it makes the process so much easier and accurate! Found this site entirely by chance browsing Reddit mid-last year. Since then, this site has been an absolutely vital resource for me. It helped me keep tabs on my supplier and competitors. The site is highly user-friendly and designed even better than the companies that provide the same services but charge hundreds to thousands of dollars per month for a mess of information that you need a cryptologist to decode. Came across this site on Reddit and fell in love with it. It contends with the competitors very well and at no cost, just the requirement to make an account after a number of searches. I've used it to audit our container shipments and see accurate, consistent data. I look forward to using this tool to expand my horizons in terms of suppliers overseas. I use this to track imports vs inventory for businesses I engage with regularly. If they're telling me that there is a supply issue, I can verify it by tracking what suppliers came through recently and weight the info I've been given. The only problem is that you have learn all the company structure yourself and figure out which of the 4 holdings is the one that deals with the actual logistics/supplies.

Importyeti has updated US shipping records, free to access through a simple search engine. Also some
Analytics and visualization. Useful for corporate research and for understanding where the products we buy come from. Indispensable. And did I mention it's free?!? Their competitors charge thousands of dollars for the same information!

This model is the most comprehensive and resourceful use of data, for personal and professional use. It has definitely given my professional business an edge for forecasting and current state issues for clients related to supply chain, sourcing, etc... what blows my mind is that this data is free and therefore should be accessible for free. ImportYeti really hits the nail on the head for unlocking data-driven decision and insights in a meaningful and digestible way.

When I am researching similar product movement from Asia and Europe to US, I have found Import Yeti to be extraordinarily useful. When I need to source new suppliers, see where problem products of larger brands are coming from to steer away from those suppliers, or when I just want to sit back and look at the flow of commercial madness around the world, I use Import Yeti. It is more a Sherpa than a Yeti for me.

Until coming across this very useful app, would waste countless hours trying to research competitors and where they source their products. With this tool, that task became so easy it is actually fun--I've even researched companies out of curiousity alone. Would highly recommend giving importyeti a try!
