ITHIRE.COM is an absolute nightmare. Their freelancers are untrustworthy and unreliable. I engaged one freelancer named Lars (likely a pseudonym), who not only failed to complete half of the project but also overcharged me significantly beyond the initial estimate. The work delivered was utterly useless, and I had no choice but to discard it. However, the worst part came later: out of the blue, they charged my credit card hundreds of dollars without authorization. I'm currently struggling to recover the stolen funds.

The developer I hired was mediocre- she delivered some technonology never before seen on mock drafting sites, the site itself is flaky. Example- the credit card I used had enough for 2 weeks worth of billing based on project budget, ithire if the card was maxed out, would charge the card 5-10x over a Saturday (when US banks are closed), locking the card and making me wait until Monday/Tuesday to unlock it. I think you can find a better site from the back end- the developers are on more than one site, choose the site wisely.
The login for the site takes forever- both on desktop and phone. Getting messages off IThire is a pain (takes a long time to login, then too many mouse clicks to see messages. Getting to billing for the projects is not simple either (can only review one developer/project at a time). The requirements engine and the dialog on specific features of the site is bad, we use discord because ithire is so bad.

IThire places importance on the verification process to ensure all freelance assignments are completed by verified freelancers on this platform. I think this points to a platform where integrity is key and clients feel confident and comfortable in placing their projects for professional freelancers to work on. Always I get support from customer service. Thank you for your professionalism and integrity, it is much appreciated.

They pretend they work on a new website, copy content of the current one, make a video without sending physicial files and then continue charging your card without being able to cancel the project.

I love Ithire. It is really outstanding platform I have ever seen. Ithire has provided reliable and proffesional source of talent to meet my business needs. For short term and even long term requirements, I have always found amazing talents to work on my processes.

ItHire is the best platform for hiring developers. During the development process, developers were very communicative and have amazing skills for completing difficult projects. I approached a developer through Upwork (*), but she wouldn't work using the Upwork platform and proposed we work through ithire.com. What a scam! First, she wasted about an hour of my time trying to understand the problem (a failing Drobo), to which she offered a solution in a couple of days. Nothing. Waited for days and received nothing at all. I canceled the contract. MEANWHILE, ithire.com is continuously trying to charge a so-called WEEKLY Regular Recurring Payment on my PayPal account for the no-frills amount of $6,900.00. Thanks to PayPal, I have been able to stop this. After reviewing the entire situation, after a few hours, she was banned from Upwork, but it looks like she actually never existed because there was about 12 other developers that sent proposals to me on Upwork that had a similar approach and were also banned from Upwork that same day. DON'T USE ITHIRE, IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.

We hired some incredible engineering talent through IThire. He really helped us move the needle for our product at a budget that's friendly for start-ups. Recommend! The platform is fairly intuitive and has eventually learned how to match me up with the right clients.

It was my first time using ithire.com and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service and quality of work provided by their web developers. The platform is easy to navigate and the pricing is competitive. Moreover, the developer I hired was skilled and delivered my project on time. I was guided by someone *******@upwork to check ITHIRE as there is no service fees charges, we agreed the developer Freelancer: Adelyn Rodriguez ( fake name she doesn't even speak Spanish and it states on her profile she is in Germany, but she is not in Germany according to the IP address tracked) and I asked to show a timeline of the project and we will discuss each step. I submitted my approval and added my credit card. The project didn't start yet the developer charged me quickly 320$ with no job done other that showing one slide. The developer told me that i will only be charged once first part of the project is live working and approved. None of that happened. The developer disappeared ITHIRE has no clue what is happening and the scamming continue be careful
I LOST 320 $ in 30 seconds i wish i found out about this page before so i learn about those scammers.
Anyway i have 50K followers on Facebook all what i will do is to make people aware about ITHIRE

Updates: I managed to find out through Instagram and Facebook some manager who works for ITHIRE, i asked them to help me to return my money from the escrow! I am still waiting for to see the money back to my credit card! Once it is back i will update the process! All what i can say ITHIRE management where super nice and kind to help me!

One note that is positive, you can dispute charges on their site, but only for the hours worked the previous week. I had a contractor who "logged" dozens of hours and they ended up refunding me 5 hours total. Output quality was terrible - it was clear that he spent very little time on it and didn't QA any of his work. Thankfully, I won my CC dispute though.

They hide negative reviews of contractors. Contractors will poach customers off of Upwork and bring them to ITHire because they know the quality standards are not high.

Dont ever trap yourself with this fake IThire website. Their developers are fake and they are using this platform to scam you. You should be redirected from other websites like Upwork. If anyone of the developer will ask you that I am not working on Upwork and work with me on ITHIRE.com... just ignore him. He is a scammer and he will take your money without any work. They are totally bogus and very well planned. They are IT professional scammers. Be careful and never ever do any project on this website. At the end you have to block your credit card as they are even charging if your card has been removed or you close your contract. They 1st charged me very wisely $160. I have removed my credit card from the website but again they charged me $50. The money has gone and they are not repsonding. At last, I blocked my credit card. :( The developer which i got trapped was George Scott.

It's a great platform, where you work with the best clients. I have been using it for more than 3 years. I highly recommend it!

ITHIRE is a freelance website and it features a very large number of freelancer profiles which allows to connect with a large pool of freelancers as well as find highly-specialized and specific talent. The platform features a powerful filtering algorithm which allows to hire freelance talent to filter for specific skills, locations, rates, etc.
I have worked on different projects with different developers and it has always been a great experience. I look forward to working on my further projects with them. I recommend ITHIRE highly.

I am an IT consultant and hire freelancers from different similar sites.
When I was 1st invited to use this site by a programmer who contacted me on * I quickly looked through some of the reviews that seemed promising.
Therefore I hired two freelancers from the site for different projects.
Later on, I found out that I was naive and these good reviews must have been written by freelancers rather than paying clients.
Despite initial reference on the site, they do not have an escrow system. They charge the client on an hourly basis as logged by the freelancers.
From what I saw the freelancers could be watching Netflix or having a party and still claim that they are working on your project.
Later on, I found out, or more precisely they finally admitted that they don't have an escrow system despite references to it on the site. It seems that they planned for an escrow system but their business model couldn't support it.
Their idea of support is to ask another freelancer to introduce himself as a project manager without even an email account under the ithire.com domain.
So, they basically have no obligation to follow anything through and in fact, the 1st time I asked one of these "project managers" about the issue and I never received a reply.
After that, I insisted that someone from the organization contact me officially.
This is how I found out that they simply don't seem to have the resources to provide support. They don't keep track of what has gone before and make claims contradictory to the case history.
They only keep the payments for one week before passing the funds on to the freelancers. After that, you are on your own.
So, you might as well deal with the freelancer directly as you would have a better chance of getting your money back if say, the freelancer disappeared after he got paid for the 1st week before finishing the job.
ithire.com claims not to have any responsibility even though it is their account that receives your money. So why bother?
It seems to me that most of these IT professionals on their site are young people who want to make something extra on the side after they finish their day job and after-hours drinks. They are not experienced, people.
So, you often see their "logged hours" from late evening until the early hours of the morning and even then there is no way of seeing if they were working on the project or just watching TV or in bed with their partner.
They also communicate with you as if they are your employee getting paid per hour regardless of how effectively those hours are used or the quality of the results.
Then when the freelancer disappears you have no recourse.
That was when I realized that all these good reviews must have been submitted by these freeloaders, sorry freelancers.
So, my advice is don't even attempt it or you are likely to waste a lot of time arguing with people who have no idea about what has been going on probably because they are spending their time to avoid refunds.
Incompetence or malice, I can not say but I stand by everything else I said here in a court of law.
I would invite a court case because that way I have a better chance of getting compensated for the time I have wasted arguing with these guys.

Do not work through this app! I got scammed by them with a project. They tried to find excuses why the project wasn't getting done. At the end, no project done and money taken.

This appears to be a totally scam website. I was directed to it by someone I met on Upwork. That freelancer was totally unqualified to do the job. I got charged a bunch of hours with no results. Tried to dispute the charges, but the dispute system seems to be broken. Nobody responds to messages. Don't even think about using it. I'll report the charges to my bank as fraud.

Small update: Even if my dispute is a success, they will only credit my account and not refund my money. This is an absolute sham and scam of a website. For sure will file a dispute with the credit card company.

The developers we used via this lied about their ability and ended up costing 3x to fix elsewhere.
There is no way to check if the developer can actually produce what is asked for. It seems its just bedroom developers trying their luck.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

ITHire is a really great platform and I've been working here for a long time. Developers with whom I have worked with were very talented and really experienced in their work. They listened to my ideas,they worked hard to deliver a quality product. Resources were made easily available and the job was done in a timely manner. I recommend ITHire highly.

ITHire does not represent or work with the clients. I contacted them two weeks ago regarding one of their freelancers who had acquired 100 hours of manually billed time without sending evidence of true programming. We hired the freelancer to assist us and add some additional slots and features to our pre-existing UX Design via plug-in. The freelancer was given the software and the plug-in to work with. When the freelancer couldn't show proof of any actual programming progress, I checked our softwares records and found out that they had only had the software running on their computer for half the time billed. I immediately contacted ITHire support. I explained the situation and informed them that I needed to speak with someone as I'm concerned that I'm being charged for work that's not been done. I had proof that they had charged me nearly 50 hours that were not logged on our software (the software is required to be open to program on it). The "work" they did send me accounted for maybe 1-3 hours tops (as a programmer myself, I could program what was sent to me in under one hour [that's how basic the stuff sent was]). ITHire support just apologized, told me to open a dispute and left it at that. I tried to open a dispute and it wouldn't let me. I contacted them to explain that this was a serious matter, it involved the entire duration of the contract and not just that weeks time and to please refer me to someone who I can contest the manually billed time to. Again, they told me to open a dispute and informed me a project manager would contact me. I was able to open a dispute (but they only allow you to dispute the previous weeks billed time) and I still have not heard back from anyone. As of today, I have not been contacted by a project manager nor a dispute specialist.

Go with a different freelancing agency. I've used many throughout the years and this is by far the worst I've ever experienced as a client.

I have Hired Lara Braun from IThire, and she did made very bad work.
Lara get paid over 1000€, and she never Finnish the jobb, and what she did Finnish was complete faraway from the project. Do Not use this platform with very bad Freelancer Lara Braun.

My freelancer was doing a great job and i wanted to do a payment for him to keep his motivation but it took the support a whole week to send me an invoice to pay to my freelancer for the reason my freelancer was upset with all the negative results there... bad. Change your support team
