A month ago l ordered a pair of trousers and a dressing gown from this company. The dressing gown was delivered screwed up in a thin plastic bag. This garment cost £89 and my complaint elicited no response. The trousers l have still not received and two emails asking for a refund are unanswered. I would advise potential customers to have nothing to do with this firm.

Impossible to order article advertised in Telegrah newspaper on line. Had to phone and give order for a white top. No confirmation email received, Article did not arrive withing 5 days so had to telephone again and was told article out of stock. Given date of availability. Top eventually arrived without notice of carrier. Found quality inferior to other manufacturers and article at discounted price still more expensive than than other sites Did not keep receipt as too much hassle to return item as I am 91 years old and would need assistance to
Re address and post item. Would not use this site again. Catalogue not requested but sent without my request.

Today I am feeling very happy with my new cotton blouse. I want to personally thank James Meade for being so innovative and providing such a nice quality in cotton blouses. I have received my cotton blouse today, which I ordered this week. It is very comfortable and fantastic. Thank you James Meade!

I've bought clothes from James Meade for more than twenty years and have rarely been disappointed. I buy several items of winter and summer clothing every year for my husband as well as for me and, in particular, their ladies' Liberty Tana lawn blouses are beautiful.

Recently I wanted to send an item of knitwear as a gift to an elderly friend who lives in a care-home, and when I ‘phoned James Meade about delivery they went out of their way to ensure that a suitable card was enclosed so that the recipient knew who had sent the cardigan to her.

Unlike other reviewers, I have always had exemplary service from James Meade (and their sister company Country Collection) online and by 'phone, and find them to be reliable and easy to deal with. An item I wanted to order last year was out of stock in my size, and they immediately contacted me to apologise, saying that they would let me know when it was back in stock, which they duly did. When it was delivered a card was enclosed offering £10 off my next order plus free p&p because of the delay. Not many other mail order companies do that!

I would like to thank James Meade Limited for providing me the best piece of Kendal Skirt. The Skirt was awesome! Durable, fits well, and very comfortable!

I wanted to send you a HUGE thank to James Meade! I got my order today which was a pair of trousers. I really like the quality of the James Meade clothing and plan to continue ordering.

Placed an order on 16th April 2020 for 2 pairs of trousers. After chasing them several times the 1st pair delivered almost 4 weeks later in good condition and seem to good quality. Then received a telephone calls on 1st, 2nd and 4th of May advising the 2nd pair of trousers were ready for dispatch but credit card details required again. Today 22 May 2020 we have received an email advising the trousers are no longer in stock and offering apologies. I am extremely annoyed as these trousers were a present for my husband. We have used James Meade over the years but now with this obviously glaring situation cannot see us using them again. Disgusted with the service.

I ordered a hat from this Company and they got order completely wrong, sent wrong hat and incorrect size, impossible to get through on phone and they fail to respond to e mails, I will never use this Company again
