Jenn-Air

Jennair is the worst brand ever and pretty expensive. They work until the first repair because they stop making parts on anything that is 3yrs old. DONT BUY IT if you dont want to be stock buying a new one at rhe first repair.

THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM JENN-AIR!

Microwave went out 4 months ago - "fatal error, this product cannot be used". Contacted extended warranty company, they came out and said "yep, needs a new control board". Of course, that's back-ordered indefinitely. They offered $900 cash (on a $2800 unit). We opted to wait since the it wouldn't just be purchasing a new microwave, but having a new custom cabinet made. (And why is the control board so back-ordered? Maybe they're having a run on them?)

One month ago - the double ovens went out. Same error. Similar back-ordered control panel. No idea as to when it will be back in stock. Not even an offer to cash us out (which we would reject) - again, would have to have custom cabinetry re-done.

So... no way to bake for Christmas... except using my BBQ outside. And it doesn't bake cookies well at all. Maybe I'll boil a turkey on my Jenn Air cook-top, unless it dies, too.

Take this warning... it's not the same company it ever was before. Once they have your money, good luck.

Jenn-Air products are not worth the money or the headache! We have been through TWO Jenn-Air double ovens with convection in the last 5 years. They both came with self cleaning and was told by the service repair man that selling this feature is an oxymoron: Use it and it will fry your mother board. I had no idea! With the first oven, I used once a year, that's what fried the motherboard. We went ahead and got another one and this time I followed the service repairman's advice: I didn't use the cleaning function at all (How much is this added feature to an oven AND YOU CANNOT USE?) and the motherboard burnt out again. Was it because I used the convection oven this time? After our second one went out, we were told it would cost $2800 to repair, that we are better off buying something new and not Jenn-Air but before you do that, call them again and tell them this is your second oven in less than 5 years., they might do something for you. We called, and the women who happened to be on the end of the call, didn't try to work with us, did try anything! We are SOL! AND ANOTHER $5000 OUT OF POCKET! AGAIN! DO NOT BE SOLD ON "HIGH LINE APPLIANCE". DO NOT BE SOLD ON LUXURY BRAND! DO NOT BE SOLD BEAUTY! THIS COMPANY SUCKS! AND THEY FRANKLY DON'T GIVE A DAMN, DARLING!

Im not going on 3 years with these over priced, over rated junk appliances... Right around the year mark I had to have the Touch screen on my stove replaced and the heating element and pump in my dishwasher replaced... After the replacement of the screen in my stove it hasnt been right since. It will no fluctuate in temperature so much that it will either not cook or burn something if you are baking. Temp will be set at 350 and it will drop to 290 then shoot up to almost 400 degrees... They tried to tell me that that was acceptable and thats the way an oven works... I call bs. I have worked in kitchens for over 13 years never have I had an oven fluctuate like that! Now the dishwasher will not drain all the time and the over the range micro which is supposed to vent outside flings grease and stuff all over my cabinets and the top piece that opens on the micro has no broken about 4 times... No one at Jenn Air gives a squat about the issues and the warranty company is a joke. They send this unprofessional rep out to my house who never has the parts you need or says nothing is wrong with it... Of course he will say nothing is wrong with it her works for Jenn Air...
Absolute garbage. I will not buy Jenn Air again and I would recommend anyone looking for appliances to do the same!
