Just getting started and I already appreciate the service! Yes there are a lot of options you can use in the drop downs, but they really serve as a reminder to how much you actually do, day in and day out. This helps you add the most important bullets, even ones you could, and might leave out, in order to confidently comb through and reduce each job description to its strongest, concise explanation.

Whether it's a cover letter, CV or resume, never mind if you have applied to services for these guys.
Due to their guidance and services, I have managed to comprise such a CV and all employers say "wow". There are tons of templates, non-intricate infrastructure and simple navigation through the website.
You ain't need a lot of skills to sort things out here and that is the most prepossessing thing for me.

I thought this was a free website. I feel duped but will pay the fee to obtain my resume

I like this program, but the comments included in the recommended statements section need to be changed to include "person-first language." For example instead of saying, "Special needs children" the comments should state "Children with special needs." No employer worth working for would hire someone who uses language like "mentally challenged students" or "special needs students."

Nice service but disappointed that Job Hero was not transparent about costing money beforehand. It tricks you into spending a lot of time on a resume, only to take you to a payment page. If you would have been up front with the cost, I would have given 5 stars.

Service was fine. Just pisses me off when a website implies something as free and then after spending all the time creating it they charge you to have access to it. Just be more up front.

I wish there was the ability to edit a bit more within each section. For example once the drop down are filled in (years worked, location, name) I would like the ability to edit/modify more. One template has your initials at the top, but because my name starts with doctor, it make my initials DW, when they are really JW. I couldn't modify this so I didn't use that template.

I liked the efficiency and suggestions. But had a feeling that feedback was a little bit general/scripted.

I haven't needed to update my resume for 19 years! The process was easy and the result professional.

I would've liked to have been able to play with the formatting a bit more so everything fit on one line or two

Honestly Job Hero save reduce my stress, because I have not much experience in doing cover letter. And this template make easy by just indroducing the requeried information, like company name, my name, last job, job I would like to apply and so on. Thank you Job Hero.
