“Not what's advertised”

Poor communication and organization. My child was in the fashion show and there was no direction upon arrival. Felt very uncomfortable leaving my child there while they "prepped" the models for the show. We were told our children would be assigned to an attendant— did not see one. Karen exchanged numbers with us in case she needed to reach us. I called the number several times and she did not answer. When I asked a worker who helped my child change, she, who was clearly working in the show, said she doesn't have any information and is only helping out. She said she does not know who I could speak to about that. Thankfully my child said she was ok. There was no hair and make-up done as advertised, and my child only wore 2 T-shirts and the leggings and sneakers she came in. Did not see her "designer". There is no real "photoshoot". A photographer took her picture after the show in the same clothes she came in. I could have done that with my phone. I did not see any industry professionals or opportunities for exposure. The audience largely seemed to be family members of the models.

Tip for consumers:
It’s not worth $300 plus expenses.

There are 2 websites to avoid: [https://internationalluxebrands.com] and [https://www.karenellefashionmogul.com].
This fashion show event/consultation/whatever this business this is, is a SCAM! Poorly unorganized production, clothes from nearby thrift shop and cut to make "designer" or "couture" fashion pieces, false claims of promoting designers and models, and UNPROFESSIONAL "staff" (Only run by 1 person: Karen Elle). As an experienced model, I am ashamed that I didn't do my research and see the credibility of this business. Models and designers are promised hair and makeup services; only 1 hairstylist and 1 makeup artist for 20+ models. No designers signed up, so they resorted to buying clothes and cutting them up. Fashion show was held in a small conference meeting room at a hotel near the airport. The only plus side was they actually put in money to make a makeshift runway stage. The WORST part is, they make models & designers pay a fee to be a part of the show. That fee can be used to either get the photo package or getting it REFUNDED 2 days after the show. This agreement was signed and documentation (receipt) was sent to the model/designer months before the show. 2 days after the show, they start making excuses like, "it takes 5-7 business days to process the payment". Wait that long and contact them again, they don't respond to you anymore; they ignore you. What's even worse is that they tell you that "they are not about making money; money doesn't matter to us. What matters is exposing the [talent] to the industry." A huge middle finger to these poor beginning models and designers (and hair and makeup artists). I ran this scam through my bank to see if I could get my money back, and they agree that I was a victim of a scam. If you see Luxe Brand International or Karenn Elle Fashion Mogul, avoid at all cost.

Tip for consumers:
https://www.karenellefashionmogul.com and https://internationalluxebrands.com are the same. Same website format, same people who run it.
