I was signed up for the tablet. It requires a Sim card which I never received. I tried calling a couple times but after sitting on hold for 40+ minutes couldn't wait longer. I managed to finally get time to go into a koodo store to be told I could only do a return online. However they wouldn't due to it being more than a month. So they won't take back a brand new unused tablet that they failed enable me to use.
In the US koodo charges $1.60 / minute. So they push easy roam for $14.00 / day and you get to use your plan as if you where in Canada. I used my phone 5 times for one minute charge time each day. Instead of charging me $1.60 per minute for a total of $8.00. They charged me $70.00 for under five minutes of air time. While north of the border. Customer service is non existent. Koodo rips you off at every moment and there is no way to contact them. Not happy koodo.

I have been trying to close the account from Europe through FB messenger Koodo Mobile support. Chatting for more than 3 days, this is day 4.

I would give it negative 100 stars if it was an option. Sent a defective phone, given horrible customer service, now after cancelling during the trial period - they are refusing to give me an updated bill showing what I'm being charged for.
In the week I was with Koodo:
-Sent an iPhone that didn't have Apple parts which the phone instantly warned me about
-customer service told me to go mall kiosk only to be told by mall kiosk that my issue could only be resolved with customer Service. The kiosk people did tell me this happens constantly and that these non genuine apple parts fail within months and cannot be serviced at Apple.
-hung up on by customer service
- refuse to provide me with a bill but being told I owe $. What for? "Correct adjustments" is the only information being provide

Bad service, bad customer care. They upsell plans, don't apply the credits, charge exorbitantly, and then customer care can barely help. Spent 2 hours on the phone with them. Now I have cancelled and still haven't received a pro rated bill nor plan.

They started charging me even before I received the sim card! When I called the customer service, I could not reach a real person at all! Even though I was so lucky to reach a real person once, he just said he would ask someone to call me back, which, OF COURSE NEVER happened! He asked me to wait for 45 minutes to 1 hour! But I waited for 2 hours! Finally, I took the sim card to a nearby store to return it! But the sales rep said I could not do so! When I tried to explain my situation to him, he even said I was rude and insisted I had to get out!
I never received notice about includ more charge pay per month. First time $119. After one year $129. And after a few month $141.00 so that contact to call assist someone,but nothing solution someone said fixed after bill,hahahaha nothing situation.so bad Koodo.I will be change another company.koodo great bad services.Thank your amazing problem service.

I cancelled my service with Koodo one and half months before my 2-year contract ends. Koodo charged me the cancellation fees of tab bonus debit, tab debit, table charge for 2 months. I talked to one of the customer service, she didn't listen. By the way, if you want to talk to the customer service, sorry you have to book an appointment to get phone call. Garbage company. Stay away from it.

Absolutely garbage customer service. My home internet plan was supposed to be activated on the 5th of January, status remained as processing until the 8th of January, never received my equipment, it was sent to my old address where I can't even receive the notice of attempted delivery. I asked if they could change the shipping address before the equipment got shipped out, literally days ago, and customer service acted like they barely had half of a brain cell and refused to help. Called back today to try to get more clarification on the situation because I received zero communication from them about why my activation date was three days late or why they were unable to change the shipping address to match the service address, and the woman on the phone began arguing with me. She was so rude and cutting me off when I tried to explain things to her that I hung up while she was still yammering on at me.
So, not only do I have to track down my package myself on the other side of the city to return it, I immediately cancelled my subscription and paid a month of internet for nothing. I will be paying off my cell phone tab balance and cancelling ALL of my services with this company despite a decade of being with them.
Get better people, your service is trash.

IME, their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced (and I was with Bell Mobility a few years ago. Lol)
Save yourself the headaches and use another provider. There are others with better customer service for about the same price (Virgin Mobile for example)
Been with koodo 15 years never had as many problems as I do living in Windsor start in London Ontario never a problem come to Windsor border towers kick in getting roaming charges over billing and then being told by Kudo that they they did it the first time, but they won't do it a second time because they're at fault because they're living on the border Don't waste your time. If you live in Windsor, it's not worth it.

But have since resolved it today. I believe a company's customer service is only as good as the person on the other end of the phone on that day. This was a simple roaming charge error that was resolved in minutes with the proper experienced service rep. Yesterday was a complete waste of time as the rep either didn't know how to resolve the issue or was too afraid to take responsibility without constantly referring to his supervisor. At any rate patience and politeness can pay off.

The initial customer service reps seem not to have any authority to make simple reversals of small charges. I tried to get a $16 roaming charge reversed to no avail. The charge was mistakenly applied and clearly showed one minute or the cost of connection and $16 was applied. The rep that I contacted after waiting a half hour for a callback, understood my frustration with the one-minute $16 charge but continually had to contact his supervisor. I was cut off three times which is ironic for a communications company. In the end, nothing was resolved and I am now considering switching to a new company.

I have called with several people from customer service and the line is so poor. Couldn't hear well the whole call.
If there is more complex problem they send you from 1 person to another. Problem wasn't solved. Horrible accent of people from customer service.

I had asked three different customer reps to put my phone on seasonal hold on Nov. 14th. After hrs on line I hung up an they put my phones on hold immediately.Took 3 more hrs to get them turned back on again as they shut them off 14 days early, on top of that I have to pay 20 bucks a month not to use them.will be switching to bell once I come off hold.
I have never been a Telus customer, but I always had the perception that they were the most customer-centric and best service in Canada. Well, if Koodo is any indication, that's a myth. Broken, slow, and constantly crashing (as well as seemingly intentionally confusing) self-service website, infuriating chatbot, idiotic default account notification settings and impossible to change critical settings (like outgoing caller ID name), and while helpful-sounding, still incapable CSRs. Not impressed in the slightest.
Advice to Telus -- don't use your low cost service to undermine your entire credibility by making it crap.

For the last few months i havent even been able to make a phone call during the day in a town. Its ridiculous. They tried to tell me its my phone. Text messages wont deliver, internet wont load, i have 20 gb that i cant even use. And i know at least 50 other people having the same problem. It is absolutely unacceptable that they take our money every month and provide no service.
I bought a prepaid card. They installed it and said the phone would be good to go in 1 hour. It did not work when I tried it. I went back for a refund they would not give me one as they said I had used the "service". I could not even access the "service". They didn't care. No refund for me and an easy $45.00 for them. Nice Service eh? They simply don't care. Never again with this company.

Koodo had the worse customer service, if you are new comer in Canada, you better choose another phone company, it's been 2 days I make an appointment for call schedule but nobody answered, it send me message about heads up phone but I waited hours and still no answer

I hate you Koodo
I got a line but was unable to activate it because they refused to pick up or return my call, and they continued to bill me for a line that had not been activated or used for approximately three months. They asked for around $194 and provided no concrete explanation as to why I had to pay service fees or be continually billed for an inactive account. This is daylight robbery, and I hope they suffer the same fate as the people they rob.

Never, ever have I had a more manipulative and unreliable experience. You cannot trust their customer service to give you either the truth, as you are only able to rely on your bill, no matter the circumstance. I was on hold for over three and a half hours, transferred seven times, and cut off once, all in one day. They are a nightmare and I will never forgive Telusfor sending me to them for cell phone service.

I over paid them $75 dollars and since March they promised me to issue a check for me,I called them five different times and everytime they lie to me and telling me they have sent me my money,I haven't recieved anything from them except lies,I am a senior citizen, living on fixed income,is this the way to do business with people?I won't recommend them to my enemies,I am so sorry I felt with them,very sorry
My experience with customer rep N. (I do not want to mention her full name) was terrible. During our conversation, I could not finish any sentence without interruption. That was insane! I am so stressed after that conversation.
KoodoMobile managers, can you please educate your rep on how politely deal with the customers?
She works in service, and if she does not like her job - why is she taking someone's place there?
I got a temporary connection for my visiting nephew for two Months. Now it become nightmare for me to cancel. This is the only network where no customer service number is available. For last ten days I am trying to get it cancelled but I am not reaching out. Telus dealers sell connection but don't respond to any other service and require virtual schedule for call back.
