Worst experience ever! Bus was 2 hours and 45 minutes late picking our group up for a Tigers Game that we had already paid for. Dead battery was apparently the issue. Bus driver never apologized to anyone in our party when she finally arrived - just blamed everything on the company and told us to take our complaints to them. Horribly strong sewer smell from the bathroom the whole way there and back. Air didn't work. Driver said it would begin to work once the bus started moving-she didn't know what she was talking about because it never worked and was very hot and uncomfortable. On the way back she took a wrong exit and we ended up in a residential section where she went under a bridge and because it was too low for the size of the bus, it tore off the vent from the top of the bus-driver just shook her head, never got out to make sure it hadn't caused damage to another parked vehicle, etc. Do not book with this company - Better Business Bureau should shut them down!

This is without a doubt the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with! Please avoid them at all costs. They will ruin your wedding day and not have one single bit of concern or compassion about it at all! My wedding day was a few months ago and i hired the company from 2pm-6pm for transportation between the ceremony, pictures and reception. After only about 10 minutes on the road the bus we were on broke down on the side of the highway! This left myself and all of my girls(including small children who were my flower girls) stranded on the side of the highway, in danger, with no air conditioning working in the 90 degree heat, in our dresses getting covered in bugs! The driver continued to try to get help and figure it out but after no luck we had to have the guests waiting at the church all bring out multiple vehicles to finally pick us up, leaving me over an hour late to my own wedding! Because of the huge disruption and delay, I had almost no time to take pictures which was very upsetting to me because I feel they are such important memories. A second bus finally arrived to the church at 5pm. Which was just able to get us to the reception. After all of this the company was disgustingly rude to me, and after a couple emails downright refused to talk to me. The only response I got was "It's not our problem," and "It's out of our control." The owner himself would never even speak to me and I never even got a bit of an apology. Please think twice about any supposed 5 star review you may see, those people may have been lucky to have a good experience but when something goes wrong with this company they have absolutely zero accountability for their actions.

Lansingparty.com is the worse company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! My daughter and her now husband rented two buses from them for the day of the wedding. One to pick up groom and his guys from hotel to take to wedding venue. The other to pick up quests at hotel to take to the venue. Neither showed up! When phone calls were made there was no answer or questions like 'what would you like us to do about it?" We were able to find alternate transportation thank goodness! When phone calls were made the next week there was no apology or action on this. We kept being told they had to investigate. At one point the salesperson Eric said it was the bus driver's fault and he/she would have to the one to return the money. The contract said nothing about a third/independent party so not sure where that came from. Another sales rep, who actually answered messages at one point said that every time we emailed, called or messaged would push the resolution back a day. Still waiting for response and some resolution. THIS IS HORRIBLE COMPANY AND WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE ONE STAR IF THAT WAS AN OPTION. BEWARE!

Well it starts off like this. I have always used continental charter out of Detroit for our tigers bus trip out of jackson but unfortunately they were booked the last home game. I thought I would try this company as the buses looked similar to the ones from continental charters and looked nice in the pictures. This is where the nightmare begins. First the bus was 45 min late to pick up the 52 people going on this event. When the bus arrived I was so embarrassed. The windows were completely fogged up due to moisture between the glass so you couldn't see out. There was no air so you can imagine how hot it was with 52 people. The bathroom was a fifthly mess with urine from the tolite running out under the door. People had to walk in it and it smelled horrible. We asked the driver if he could clean up the bus while we were at the game and his response was it wasn't his problem. NICE! So needless to say we had to smell it all the way to Detroit and back. Not to mention we didn't get there until the 2nd inning. I contacted the company to complaine and the owner said he would contact me back the next day. Well here it is 4 weeks later with no response. I have tryed calling and it says due to completely booked they are not answering the phone you have to send them a message and they will get back with you. Ha ha what a joke this company is.

I was the photographer for a wedding party in June. We all boarded the bus en-route to the ceremony. The plan was ceremony and then a then a side trip to a park for beautiful pictures of the bride and groom. Well, the bride and the bridal party arrived to the ceremony 45 minutes late. Why? Because the bus broke down on the side of I-96. It was well over 80 degrees and the bus had no power, no windows and no shade. Talk about a hot sweltering 45 minute wait for a ride to the ceremony. And when it all came down to it the bus company never got the wedding party to the church. They had been in constant contact with family and the groom at the church and ended up sending a 6 car caravan to pick up and transport the bride and her party as well as the mothers of the bride and groom and myself the photographer to the church. By the time the bride got to the church and was able to have the ceremony there was no time or bus left to transport them to the reception hall. They were unable to partake in photographs that often mean so much to a bride and groom. Their memories of the ceremony and day are deeply clouded by memories of sweating inside a bus stranded along I-96 as traffic races by at 80mph. And in the end, this bus company rejected all requests for refund and/or compensation for their undelivered service and fiasco. Now that is bad business. I would never recommend this company. Yes, we all agree that things happen. However, it is how you handle the situation during and after that show your dedication and skill. If customer service and quality is what you seek, beware and keep away from the Lansingparty!

Do NOT use this limo company! I was in a wedding that paid this company to bring the bride and the bridesmaids from our hotel, where we got ready, to the church. After being on the highway for a few minutes the bus broke down! The driver called the company multiple times but they never sent out another bus to pick us up to get to the wedding! The air conditioning was broken, it was very hot so we were all sweaty and our hair went flat! (Their wedding was in June) We had to stand outside of the bus because it was so hot! THE BRIDE in her wedding dress was standing on THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY! Eventually guests that were waiting at the church left in cars to come pick us up! We were AN HOUR AND A HALF LATE to their wedding! Since the ceremony was pushed back so far they ran out of time to have pictures taken at different locations. The company eventually sent another bus to the church to bring us to the reception but it didn't even show up till 30 minutes before we needed to be there! After all of this the bride and groom confronted the company saying they'd like a refund for all the trouble it cost them for almost ruining their special day but they refused any refund and never even appologized! Eventually they brought them to court and got 50% back. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! They said that the bus breaking down was "out of their control", I know they didn't plan for that to happen but they could have been nice enough to send another bus to bring us to the ceremony or offered some kind of refund like decent people! They didn't even care! AWFUL COMPANY! STEER CLEAR!

Avoid this company like the plague! We contracted them for a party bus for our wedding. The plan was for the party bus to pick up my wife and her girls at the reception venue where they were getting ready, and transport them to the church, and then bring the entire wedding party back. The problem is that they never made it to the church! The bus broke down on the side of the highway no more than 15 minutes after getting on the road! They were stuck there for over an hour until family members left the church to go pick them up. And because of where they broke down, 2 of the girls got ticks! My wife was an hour late to her own wedding! The finally got another bus to the church, but it didn't even arrive until 30 minutes after the ceremony finished. Because of this we didn't have enough time for all of the pictures we wanted and couldn't even go to the location where we had planned to take them. Their response to all of this? Too bad. No refund. Not even an apology. They claimed that their bus breaking down was "out of their control" when maintenance of the vehicles is ENTIRELY WITHIN THEIR CONTROL! The responses we got were incredibly rude and amounted to nothing more than "Not our problem". We kept getting told that it had to be the owner to make the decision about anything, but he refused to even talk to us. Service might occasionally be good with these people, but if anything ever goes wrong, they will own up to nothing. The only good experience we had was that the driver was very courteous, and he even said we should get a refund out of this. We eventually had to take them to court and they were nothing but rude for that as well. They flat out rejected the summons the first time so we had to pay and extra fee to have it hand delivered. And on the day of the mediation, they even showed up late! We eventually ended up with 50% refund out of it, SIX MONTHS LATER. I will NEVER go with them again and I will make sure as many people as possible hear how horrible Lansing Party Limo is.

Don't do it. Just don't.

Because I understand there are mistakes in business... the fact that the bus never made it out of the church parking lot on my wedding day... I actually thought, "Wow, how unfortunate." And thought of it as bad timing. From my experience with them 2 times after I will have a lengthy review of how TERRIBLE this company (not the drivers) is. Please read my review and please know this is from an unbiased perspective and all of the information is indeed true:

I also want people to understand that I know that reviews can make or break business and I was very reluctant to do that. But with these situations, there is no way I cannot share.

May 2015:
My husband and I used Lansing Party (paid $750) to have a 25 person party bus on my wedding day transport us from Mason to Jolly Rd. In Lansing for the reception (about a 20 minute drive). The bus did not make it out of the parking lot, because the engine caught on fire. Therefore, the whole wedding party, including myself as the bride, had to car pool (everyone had been drinking also--which is another issue because we did not anticipate this happening) to my reception. That we were over an hour late for.

It made for a good story we thought, everyone forgave us, whatever. Until my husband called after our honeymoon to get a refund. Because, duh, you would think because we didn't even MOVE on the bus we would get all of our money back. Nope, the owner told us that we would get a partial refund. Needless to say, eventually, we got our full refund.

December 2015:
A group used this bus company to drive from North Lansing to South Lansing. The bus was over an hour late due to bad planning.

June 2016:
Now it gets fun. Preface: The owner of the company is friends with one of the guys in our group that we went to go see perform in Grand Rapids.

Our group used Lansing Party (now, the last time) to travel from Lansing to Grand Rapids. First, the bus was late. Second, it didn't have air conditioning (oh, PS it's the middle of June). Third, before the group made their way to Grand Rapids, our group (which is now on the bus) had to stop in DeWitt to PICK UP the owner from his home, along with friends, and girls a drunken mess claiming they didn't have underwear on. Mind you, the people in my group paid money to travel together--not with the owner of the company and his hooligan and hoochies.

Oh, we thought we were getting a bus. We got a stretch limo trying to fit 20 people. Packed like sardines. Without air conditioning.

Okay, anyways.

We get dropped off at our event in Grand Rapids and the owner ASSURES us that our coolers, booze, etc. will get transported to the other bus (because the bus had to be in South Haven for a wedding--which they were an hour late for also). So we are anticipating a bus for when we get picked up in front of the venue at 11pm. Or so we think.

My group of about 15 people were waiting on the curb for a party bus from Lansing Party. Come to find out, there was never a bus coming to pick us up. It is now 12:30am and our group who was live and ready to have a good time--was now tired, angry, and there were many people who had to work in the morning expecting to be back home by leaving at 11pm.

So, the bus shows up. We get on. Upset, obviously. Not with the driver but at the situation. The bus driver tells us that (wait for it) "We have to find and pick up the owner and his friends from Downtown Grand Rapids before we go to Lansing." ALSO, our coolers, booze, and ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS were on the other bus that happened to be in South Haven. So we couldn't even open up a beer for this goose chase... because it was all lost somewhere within the state of Michigan. And out of all of this:

WHAT? You're telling us that the owner is making us pick him UP? After driving around aimlessly in Grand Rapids, we finally find these humans, drunk and incoherent. Our group leader confronted the owner on the bus and the owner's response, "Yeah dude. I'm mad too." The owner was asked, "What are you exactly mad at?" (aka YOU caused this).

Needless to say, we finally made it to Lansing at 2:30am. And I will walk anywhere before I step foot in a Lansing "Party Bus" or consider my name associated with them by any means.

Horrible, horrible, horrible business plan and horrible follow through. The market is small in Lansing so that is the only reason this place stays in business.
