At first glance the new ND-3 seems to be the night stalkers dream come true. It comes in this huge black and green box with all kinds of add-ons and do-dads but once you are up and running, the light leaves you mostly dissappointed. The first thing you better do is grease both end switches they give you or otherwise the poorly threaded tube is going to strip out. Also temperature affects this light considerably. They say its because of the type battery it uses. All i know is i had a hard time getting it to function at 50 degrees. The adjustable mount works well but dont breath on it or it will move. Look its good for what it is but for a lot less you can mount an led light and be just as effective. True night vision is going to cost you more so dont be like me and think this ND-3 is the secret alternative. IT`S NOT!
