Great website, easy to navigate. Having videos to look at the product helps understand how the material flows; Video for measurement guide is great and detailed, although I would suggest it goes in order of the form, so it is easy to follow. The online chat no one responded to my questions, so was disappointed with that, therefore it took me 4 more days to place my order without any guidance from you and had to outsource it.
I purchased Lashkaraa's Sea Green & Pink Saree. It was $199 regular price, ans I also found it on Pernia's pop up shop, so thought the quality would be great as it must be a luxury product. It was NOT - the sari was a very cheap material similar to the material of cheap Halloween costumes, and the print was only on one side, so the inner side was white. The service was a mess too - after agreeing to make a custom size for me, they took an extra week to supposedly "stitch" it, but then sent me a standard XXS - which was somehow HUGE. They then told me that I would need to pay the shipping to return it… The last straw was when they asked me for a review - I gave them the one star I thought the sari deserved (there were no other reviews) and they aren't allowing my review to post. Instead, they sent me this apology note. Ugh.

I was super excited to receive a suit custom made. The first thing I noticed is that the color of the kameez is GREEN, and not CREAM as indicated in the description. It seemed small just by looking at it, but I try to put it on, and noticed that it was 2 whole sizes too small! I looked on the inside, and there was at least 3 inches of fabric on each side inside for the tailor to have made it the correct measurements. Overall, the zari work is cheap, but I could have lived with that had it fit me. I would like a refund since the dimensions requested were not honored. Also, I have been told that Lashkaraa is removing negative feedback posts, so don't be surprised if this doesn't show up on their website. But I'll be posting on trust pilot and other websites! I've had numerous back and forth with their customer service and they are still insisting that a product that was sold as "CREAM" on their site was meant to be green, and that the differences in my screen caused the color being completely different! I am appalled at their lack of accountability.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This is a scam of a company. They have excellent filters that mask the very poor quality of the fabric and work. I'll be reporting them to the BBB.

I am SO HAPPY with the Anarkali suit that I got in pink along with the gold jewelry for my cousin's wedding! I bought them from Lashkaraa a month ago, and I just love everything about what I bought! And people at the wedding agreed... I got so much praise for my outfit!
I have placed two orders with Lashkaraa, neither of which I received because they were delayed several weeks past the guaranteed arrival dates. When I requested updates from their team, they repeatedly made false promises. Even their refund was (and is still) delayed - supposedly "due to a technical error" in their payment system. Baffling.
If you would like to receive your order on time, I strongly suggest placing it twice as early as you had originally planned, or better yet, going elsewhere.
Do NOT buy from them. There business is a scam. Bought a dress at the beginning of June and still has not arrived. They have given excuse after excuse about why it hadn't arrived and then when I ask for refund they say it takes 10-15 business days. I am on day 15 and still no refund and now the company says they are having refund issues on their end. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. This business is a piece of work!

Its only 3 days to Eid and they have not dispatched my orders and keep delaying. Even when they promised to ship out my sisters suit that is ready first, they did not. Best part they are not replying to my emails anymore. Terrible service. Should not take on more orders if unable to, dont be greedy! The least they could do is also inform earlier of delays so we could get replacement suits. Will be my first and last order with them! 2 stars because two suits I ordered for my other Sister and mum arrived much earlier to Singapore with no issues.
Super expensive only to have zippers break the day of event. Please avoid to save you from tears and anger

The clothes are beautiful, however, they forgot to add the blouse pads even though I paid for it. You need to pay the shipping charges to return the clothes, which is expensive. Also, even with custom fit, the blouse fit is very weird.
I bought some suit pieces for the upcoming festive season and gave it to the local tailor to get it stitched. The festival days were ahead and the tailor couldnt deliver the clothes on time! I was worried about what to wear for the festival, then someone told me about Lashkaraa. I went through the site and found a mesmerising range of festive collection salwar kameez. You get the best custom fit salwar kameez collection with mind blowing sequin work to choose from and besides they also have an amazing return policy!
I have ordered from many sites and never been so disappointed in the quality of dress. With stitching paid over $255 and the dress is awful quality. The embroidery and lace is so cheap that it actually hurts when you wear the dress as it's wiry. Dress is not appropriately lined and is made is some cheap stuff material. Color is nothing like the pictures and is a light pink. Pants were so off tailoring wise they are literally falling off and they included no cord to tighten. Close up of sequins shows you how cheap their materials. Requested refund and did not even get a response. Beware before ordering - place is scam.
Buyer beware. They will ship out defective products and do whatever it takes to not refund the amount. They sent me a dress with a faulty zipper and offered a '$10' credit. The zipper Needs to be completely removed and sowed back in. After letting them know of the issue they offered a refund while deducting the amount paid for free shipping by them and asked me to pay for the shipping amount back to them. To add to that they also asked me to pay for the 10% refund fee that their bank would charge them.

Read the reviews on trust pilot and site jabber prior to purchase. I made the mistake of not doing that.

I bought a dress, not in custom size and unfortunately it was a bit too small and I did not look nice in the colour. I wanted to send it back, they will only refund you after cutting 10% of the buying price, they will also charge you for the shipment and I had to pay 80 Euros to get the dress back to India...basically its a rip off. Also the quality of the Velwet was not high and customer service was rude to me on top of this.

Just don't order there, its not a good experience, the quality is soso and they simply do not care about you. They only take parcels back via royal mail which was insanely expensive from germany to india, also they cut money for the refund (10%) and charge back intial delivery cost if you got a free shipment. On my 200 Euro order i lost 150, to a point where sending it back made no sense thinking about the hassle....

My daughter had to attend a birthday party, she usually has an affinity towards western dresses and doesnt wear ethnic outfits. A friend of mine recommended Lashkaraa online stores. I browsed through it and found some of the most fascinating collection of palazzo salwar suits. I was told refund will be done in 12-15 days. 1 month later, and still no refund. I send them an email, and the response is "Our system is down" so refund will be 5-7 days more! This has been a nightmare

This seller will nickel and dime you for everything. The price on their website is false advertising. If you select a size for you outfit the price increases. I ordered an outfit and was later told they could not fulfill it due to some vendor issues and I was asked to select another outfit. After I did that they charged me extra for shipping. Then I paid extra for custom stitching and gave them my measurements. I got a response saying I had to pay an extra $10 because my blouse was 2 inches longer. So all in all I had to pay an extra $65 for the new outfit. They are crooks. Do not buy from them. Not very honest people. Am still waiting for my refund which they said will take 4-6 weeks! It took them 10 mins to take the payment but 6 weeks to return? Am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the customer service.

I have ordered outfits from them on two separate occasions. On both occasions I communicated with staff consistently about progress of the outfits. Both times I was informed that everything was progressing on time. And then the week of delivery comes and nothing...
What makes it worse is that employees over email would tell me one thing, but customer support on the phone would tell me something completely different.
Super unprofessional. Do not rely on them, even if you have a lot of buffer time between the delivery date and the event you need it for.

I ordered the Dark Peach Sequins Embroidered Crop Top Set and the quality was SO POOR that it actually scratched and took skin off my arm. The color of the fabric was also way off. The website shows a light peach but in reality the outfit was an offputting greenish yellow color. It's not wearable at all and when I contacted lashkara about the quality/color they did not even respond. I even wrote a review on their website and they removed it. BE AWARE!
I purchased the light pink thread embroidered anarkali from lashkaraa and am so happy with my purchase. The dress looks much better in real life than in pics... pics don't do justice to this piece. Good quality and good pricing... will be back to shop here
Do not order from this company. I received my dress and upon wearing there were major defects: Right side Bra pad somewhere between shoulder area and armpit, left one is folded over and stitched inside with the fold. Uneven stitching with bunched up material. Cheap material. Sent an email to them and their copy paste reply is " We made it custom to your size" They hide behind the CUSTOM MADE. I will be fighting with them till I get my money back. The phone number and address on their Facebook page are fake. DO not buy from them
I ordered two salwar suits for myself and my sister. Mine arrived 3 days before eid and my sisters still hasnt arrived. Before ordering my sisters one, I asked the customer service if they would be able to ship before eid since under the picture it said 3-4 weeks dispatch time. Not only did they take 3 days to reply, they lied. Said it would arrive before eid since its Eid Promise.
I emailed them about this and they said they will NOT be able to deliver before eid and that as a compensation they will give me store credit. But if I cancel the order, I get NO store credit. Really disappointed with their service as they take the word promise so lightly. Please go to other websites such as Cbazaar and utsav fashion where youll get same clothes with better, honest service.
Its every prettier in person. The embroidery work and contrast color was beautiful. I am 130lbs and 5'6 and the 42L size fit me well. Lashkaraa even put a few tweaks to the fitting as my request and the fit was perfect. I would recommend this and other products from this site. I will definitely be ordering more products from here. I purchased a Peachy Pink Embroidered Straight Suit in August. I sent my measurements and a picture to illustrate my body type which is taller and on the slimmer side- US size 8. The rep said that I should use the tailor's recommended measurements instead of having the garment made to my specifics. I was concerned that the garment would be too big, but deferred to their expertise. We exchanged a series of emails regarding size and preferences.
When the garment arrived it was huge in the hips and tight across the bust- much larger than the tailor's recommended measurements by 7 inches. Due to the beading, alterations to make it a suitable fit would have to be extensive. Customer service has not been helpful. After sending requested pictures of the garment next to a measuring tape showing that it was poorly made, I still have not been compensated or provided with any resolution. The material is lovely- but sadly the garment is unwearable. I would not recommend this company, as I have purchased other Indian clothing from competitors and been totally satisfied.

I would not recommend the custom tailoring. Ordering a standard size and getting it altered would be less expensive and improve the fit.

I purchased an item in which had to be refunded, the store told me they have refunded my order and processed it which will take 12-15 days. When I did not receive my refund they said they forgot to process it, although it was " confirmed". As a result I waited a whole month for a refund.
Placed an order. Tried to cancel it. Lashkara team was hard to reach via phone, when contacted via email they refused to cancel the order. And when they finally agreed to cancel charged restocking fee even when request for cancellation was put before the item went into production. Its been more than 20 days and they still haven't processed neither the refund. I recommend sites like nykaa and kalki fashion for safer online shopping. My experience with them have been much better than lashkara who refused to cancel my order for the first week despite my repeated requests. They are taking full advantage of online shoppers.
