The negative reviews posted here sound right - my experience was the same. I suspect the positive reviews are not real. Paid $5000 and got nothing, not even a simple template website. The good reviews you read are surely put up by the company themselves, they use very aggressive SEO to bring up lots of google results and mislead potential clients. Rule 1 - choose a web designer that is IN YOUR STATE - so that you can use them more easily. Even better in your County, much easier to bring a suit. Rule 2 - Pay nothing up front - the predators always make big promises to get the cash - then you'll get nothing. You will be disappointed if you use this company.

I went to siben and siben after being in a car accident and was very glad I did. They were wonderful They were kind and caring, went above and beyond what they needed to do to help me. I highly recommend them! It was obvious they had my best interest at heart and I was glad they were there for me when I needed them. My questions were always answered and calls always returned.

These guys redesigned my web site, and they did a great job with very limited help from me. Not only was the entire process easy from my perspective, but they also listened and customized the site with the unique features I wanted, rather than using a cookie-cutter approach. They were professional, timely and responsive, and it was time and money well-spent. I highly recommend them.

I am a software developer. A client of mine has a web site designed by this company. I contacted them in order to obtain documentation from them for the site. The owner refused to provide ANY documentation or information and was more than just rude regarding the matter. I have been in this business for 40 years. EVERY piece of work I do has documentation. And if anyone ever contacts me I gladly give them the info they need.

In my opinion I would avoid this company like the plague. Anyone who does not provide information or customer service for a product they delivered does not deserve your business.

I had a great experience with Law Firm Sites. We talked beforehand about my goals and concerns (one of which was that I would delay things by not being responsive which was the case and they were very patient with me). Yes, I did have to proof read their work but I would do that with anyone that created a site for me. My site turned out beautifully.

I had a website built by Dan Daniel Todd's company, LawFirmSites.com a/k/a Onlywebsites.com a/k/a LawFirmSites.net.

Many many of the errors and tickets opened were because these amateurs did not check their work. Countless times I would tell the Marketing and Development Manager, Jessica Olson, this problem is another example of your team not checking their work.

Working with this group on another project to write webpages for us was a total nighmare. Who in their right mind produces web pages that are not even 200 words?! That is barely a blog! Then we had to go through this whole process of debating what constitutes a webpage. REALLY?

In my humble opinion - Stay away. For every one person that takes the time to publicly share their experience, there are many more that experienced the same headaches but did not take the time to write here.

REPLY TO DAN: Nothing changed from our side. All changes came from performing below industry standard and LawFirmSites having to bring performance up to par. Law Firm Sites consistentely under-performed. A company that has been in business for 14 years should know the minimum word count for a web page. The less than 200 words originally produced was well below industry standard. Took weeks to convince them less than 200 words is unacceptable. The elements that form a particular structure of a web page also needed revisiting. THEN, having known that this is a sole practitioner law firm, they wrote the pages as though there was more than one attorney and REFUSED TO FIX the misrepresentation. PRIOR to that project, they developed a website where there were countless mistakes made as a direct result of their staff not checking their work.

The results of the marketing Law Firm Sites did for me is real and solid. I am so happy that I can now see my site on the first page of Google ahead of my competitors.

I have gone through a lot of companies to get these results. Now I hope they just stay where they are.

I created my original website back in 2006 or 2007 when I first started practicing, and was pretty proud of it at the time. However, time marches on, and in addition to not being able to change things through the new hosting people, I needed a whole new look. I knew of an attorney I admire and respect whose site was hosted and created by Law Firm Sites, and I have been very impressed each time I looked at it. LawFirmSites was extremely helpful with the design and had lots of patience while I procrastinated on my part in the process. I would recommend them again.

After he explained the contract and I agreed to work with this company the level of customer service remained the same high caliber it was before I signed the contract. I actually responded to an email solicitation, which is very uncharacteristic for me. Moreover, at the time I was contacted, I wasn't even particularly in the market for a new website. Our Firms experience with this company has been nothing but excellent! The initial meet and greet was in response to a cold call email with a mock-up of our possible website. We rarely respond to such inquiries, but decided it may be worth making contact. We were not disappointed.

The developers and techs were very responsive during the build phase to our requests for changes and updates. For the custom build, hosting, SEO, periodic updates to the site and more; keeping it relevant and ensuring our firm we believe our investment was well worth it. This is by far the most unprofessional web site "development" site I have ever encountered. Our firm had a site created by these amateurs that has been an ongoing embarrassment. Whenever tickets are opened for enhancements to the site, the work is so poorly done (and NEVER checked before closing tickets!) that it can take weeks to get the desired results. They create pages in Firefox and never bother to look to see how bad they appear in Internet Explorer. I know Firefox is becoming more popular, BUT Internet Explorer still has the lions share of the market. Why would any professional not check the page appearance in the most prominent browser? They would... that is what separates a professional web development company from these amateurs.
