Terrible return services, such an awful experience. I bought a product on lazada and didn't like it so I requested return & refund on 21 Dec. I chose pick-up as the delivery method for return as the item is pretty big, hard to take it to a post office. Then, there's no in-app notification nor MSM, whatsapp, NOTHING, notify me when this will be picked up and returned. The courier came once when I'm not at home, then I missed that delivery. And that is the only time they came, later on I tried to contact the courier they saying they don't have such return order anymore. So I went to Lazada to check what's going on, while I was told to wait. After 2 weeks, and various times of contact, they said to rescheduled a return for me, yet still, no update, no one came, parcel still here. What's more, the Lazada system has canceled my return request since it's pending to long. Excuse me? Each time I try to contact them, all I get is "our resolution is working on this with priority". Is priority in Lazda means after a customer complain 10 times you manage to get one return rescheduled? I was so pissed and called see if I can speak to any other department to resolve this matter as now I couldn't even initiate the return myself, the order was closed for me somehow, but all I kept getting is still waiting for resolution team. This is so ridiculous, I'm so unhappy with this, this is extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Ordered a carton of dry food from Redmart,Lazada. Food came with very short expiry date hence I requested for a refund.

Few days later, a delivery person showed up and picked it up. Thereafter, I was told that the receiving end, Redmart,Lazada did not receive the carton from the delivery person hence no refunds can be made. Was asked if I took a photo of the delivery person as they are unaware who picked up from my side.How is that possible?and since when are we required to take photos of delivery personnels?

Very atrocious service. No accountability at all.
Took back the goods and no refunds made at all.

From 30 December 2023, up till now, I've been purchasing items from 44 various sellers and each seller, sometimes even buying 10 or more of the same products. Most of the sellers are honest and polite. However, there are a few that have sent me items in empty packaging. Some of these were cancelled by Lazada itself as there were no movements from some sellers. Many time, I have to ask for refunds because of this. Recently, when I asked Lazada to refund me the items that were delivered empty, they refused to refund me as I had reached the quota of refunds. I even called them several times to mention that these sellers are frauds but still nothing was done. I am a foreigner, and for the items that I purchased, require me to get a tax invoice so that I can show it to the GST counter to get my refund. I called Lazada to explain to them why I needed those invoices 8 times. Mentioned that they will send it but never did. Asked me to go to the orders pages and get the receipt or contact the sellers myself. I tried to get the receipts online but it were only invoices and not tax invoices. After, my 8th call, they decided to send the invoices but not tax invoices. Called again today and was told by the agent that Lazada no longer issues tax invoices. Reason? It's been already some time that no tax invoices are sent anymore. I told the agent, 2 days ago, the items that were sent came with a tax invoice via my email. If out of 44 different products that i purchased, only 13 tax invoices were emailed to me and not the ones that i had spent more that $150. Her response: If you want, contact the sellers. Sent 5 messages to sellers. Only 2 responded that it's for Lazada to provide the tax invoices. Called them back again. Same talk. When some of my items were refunded, it comes to my bank account, maximum 3 days. I had bought this particular item from a seller and Lazada itself cancelled it. From 31 January till this very day, it shows pending refund. I had called everyday to ask about this and was told to give my bank details. Why is this so when all the other refunds are made to my bank account promptly. It's also illegal to ask for anyone for their bank account details with so much frauds and scams. Still, I provided all the information as I didn't want to lose my $232. They insisted that they had refunded me the $153 but the other one is still pending. I went through all my bank details and going through each purchase I had made from Lazada from 31 January till 16 February. No refunds done on 31 January till this date. The balance of the other refund was still showing pending. Called them 9 times regarding this. Asked me to wait for 5 to 15 working days, since it was only since 11 February the refund was processed. When I called yesterday, the agent told me that if I do not receive the refund by latest last night, to call again today. I checked my bank account details and nothing. I called this afternoon and the agent hung up on me. Called again and waited for a long time for another agent. From Saturday till today, all agents told me to wait for 15 working days except the 1 who said to call back today, if the refund is not done. I specifically told all the agents that I won't be here to follow that up as I'm leaving Singapore on 26 February. They all said to call back. I told them that once I leave Singapore, I can no way contact them. They replied speak to a live agent. I told them that everytime I do that they keep saying all the operators are busy or you have 1 person ahead of you and the page never changes the position. I've even once waited for 1 and a half hour and still the same thing. I asked them if there was an email address that I can send to. The answer was no. I have even called my bank to dispute these transcations and ask if there were any refunds and the bank told me to get Lazada to contact them. I conveyed this message to them but they still insisted that I should call the bank. I'm so sick and tired of this and I just want my money back asap. I've learnt a very lesson and have decided not to ever make any more purchases from this kind of unreliable and lying company called Lazada. Even when I told this statement to the agent, she never even bothered to apologise. This is the last time I will ever make a purchase from them. Buyers, please avoid Lazada as cautionary advice. Please take your purchases some place else where it's truthful and trustworthy.

I am still recovering from the shock of the day when an agent called me back in not the most polite manner and questioning me why I gave a Low rating. Is that how we need to be challenged? Almost out to kill tone?

I bought 2 S sized jackets from Lazmall from Superdry. 1 came XL, model name is different from name on their order site but Lazada refused to refund me. Items were delivered to me on 14th April, I dropped off to return at Speedpost on 15th morning. Dispute resolution team rejected my refund 3 times! Wth... send me the wrong item but I have to pay for it? It's the vendor's fault! Now I'm going for my 4th dispute resolution. Looking to go to Case/get social media to cover this story. So damn frustrated.

Tip for consumers:
Lazada preys on unassuming customers. They let vendors send you an item that doesn't even match what you ordered and then refuse to refund upon returning!

1. Many different shops on this platform and orders not aggregated. So you run the tab on separate delivery costs
2. I took all steps, being careful to only order from one supplier. Upon check out I can not book a time slot as one item is not avauilbel. An item that is NOT in my basket so can not delete
3. After going through the useless computer whatsapp, a live agent asks me to order through the phone app only. What the Duck, if you can not process orders through internet, then dont waste customers time, dont offer it. That was the last time. What a lousy platform. Amazon at least one place and normal customer service.

The refund of my item above $800 took more than 1 month now, and the CS mentioned that i'm supposed to wait for additional 15 days to wait for the amount to be reflected in the bank. This is plain rubbish as the banks have told me that all refunds except airlines, take less than 5 working days. Crap.

Keep sending failed to pickup with no valid reason. Yet Lazada ignore our feedback & continue to let their pickup agent to do so without getting warning.
All Lazada do was keep reschedule pick up ‼‼

I had informed Lazada regarding a number of billings on my credit card which were not reflected in "My Last Order" account history. Lazada's account history is a worst e-commerce nightmare. Their out sourced customer service were a frustrating lot, cant be bothered to understand issue and kept sending generic replies. Going down to their empty office is equally hopeless, lone receptionist said everyone is WFH and will call back. They are not proactive in assisting non complex enquiry for billing details, as such I let the police handle them.

This is an update on my order from Super Value (M). After sending many messages of complaint, I have received my package. But this experience has made me more cautious about using Lazada. Probably will still order from Red Mart as I have no problem with them.

I ordered from Super Value (W) on 3rd of June 2022 and it keeps showing "to ship". Msged the shop on 22nd to ask why it's not shipping out yet and they replied the next morning that they needed to check. At 6pm I msged to ask any news. On the next morning they replied whether I wanted to wait or wanted a refund. I asked how long more to wait and again only next morning they replied that they have no idea. So I answered that I would like a refund. Next morning they replied "sure" Then nothing again. On the 28th of June I asked them so how will they refund and they replied until the courier tells them that the article is lost then they will refund. Then yesterday suddenly I receive an email saying that the package has just been delivered. But I did not received any package. I called the help line but the operator's reply was Lazada can't do anything and it's between the shop and me. This is very unacceptable. I have ordered from other shopping platforms and when this happens the platform takes responsibility and made sure I got my refund or at least they made sure the shop sent me a new package. I don't think I will shop at Lazada ever again and I will also be warning my friends and relatives not to shop there too. Too unreliable!

Skip Lazada for small, popular items. My order for a popular hair item was suspected pilferaged within NinjaVan. It was supposed to be delivered by 12 October but NinjaVan did not bother to revert despite my repeated requests until Lazada approached them this week. It appears NinjaVan does not measure its Delivery performance so need not account for lateness.

To make matters worse, Lazada's promise of refund never materialise. Instead continue to ask me to be patient with them to wait for NinjaVan investigation. Wonder what kind of SLA Lazada forge with NinjaVan. What is the KPI for NinjaVan?

Very disappointed with both as one such last mile defect is one too many. This shopping experience is a total flop in terms of customer time, efforts and monies.

Food quality is poor, as service is terrible and everyone from delivery to staff are perfectly committed to terrible standards. Selling rotten food at least I got a refund. But I guess this is the same in whole of Singapore so cannot expect much. After all I am Indian.

I have purchased from various online shopping. Shoppee, Ebay, Amazon and so far the customer service has been okay.

Lazada Singapore is really bad in their customer resolution when it comes to issue dispute.

Do not buy from Lazada - You will regret by their customer service when you encounter issue with your product No one will help you

Just want to let online shoppers to beware of Lazada Singapore poor customer service. I have shopped with Ebay, Amazone and Shopee their customer service has been great

I could not make a purchase on their website, because a payment method cannot be added. Cannot pay by paylah because there is no QR code. Tried to check-out/purchase using different browsers - did not work. Took me a few tries on their app. I think I kept trying because it was the weekend, and I was feeling 'kindly'. On any other day, I would have given up, and used amazon instead?

I bought $75.38 Bobbi Brown skin serum from Lazada. The item came in different from the display, old, manual expiry sticker, bottom broken and seller refused for refund. When I called and dispute seller refuser, Lazada said seller rejected because I have opened the bubble wrap. I am shocked to hear that from Lazada (supposed to have common sense). Then the replied by asking me to return the item to seller then the seller will decide on the resolution. Ridiculous! Read Lazada response below:

Please be informed that we have reviewed the dispute 3030xxxxx2. Please return the item to the seller to evaluate the product and decide on a resolution.
Resolution reason: Seller is unable to perform replacement
Please select the shipment provider and handover the item to the courier within the next 5 days by going to one of the below links.

Lazada customer service is the wrost among all e commerce. I bought some items but when I check the delivery status, it was stated as 'cancelled' and 'refunded'. Lazada did not inform me or alert me on this. However, I have not gotten my money back after few weeks. I made several calls to ask about the refund, the customer services keep pushing around and placed the blame for the fault of system. My money could be gone and please be careful when making of purchase from Lazada.

Be careful when purchase, if cancellation may not get back the refund.

Lazada sellers guarantee delivery when pay an extra delivery fee. In the end, the product came one day later, and my daughter had already flown off to overseas study. I wrote to the seller to reject the order; the seller told me it was not their problem, is Lazada organise the delivery with SpeedPost. At the end, I turned to Lazada for help. Lazara turned me down. Actually, Lazada earn a fair bit of money in all transactions, they can't even help on such occasion. I have been buying from AliExpress, on a few occasions, they helped or stepped in to resolve my issue and I am happy to buy from AliExpress. Guys, actually the product in Lazada is not that cheap, if it were not for the delivery time that is needed, I would not buy from Lazada, yet they can't even deliver on time, even when I paid for it. WHY SHOULD buy from Lazada? Some time is not about the money is about the principle!

Lazada is fine but it allows sellers to deceive customers. I recently bought some Gillete razors. It was clear that these razors were in fact used razors that had been cleaned up. This is not right and the seller should be struck off. I recently also tried to buy a diffuser. I was sent a filter. The seller said that was what I paid for when clearly a diffuser was advertised. There must be rules and regulations to monitors sellers.

Lazada has worst customer service and blame customer when items go missing because their courier didn't deliver n took items for themselves that we proved with evidences attached but still blocked our account when we spend thousands at lazada within 3 months.they expect us to put up with 12 midnight and 210am delivery and texts by their zto courier and expect us to find things in late morning when we wake up to go afternoon shift work.items were removed by town council or janitor or neighbour or even taken back by their own zto courier as zto and speedpost courier dumped broken and empty boxes with no items inside at public utilities box at common corridor and lazada still blame us,don't want to refund and block our account.lazada act like mafia and dbs banks dont want to raise dispute with lazada so I think lazada could be government backing to have such high nose attitude towards customers and also blocking customer account using their software and don't care what customers say after the blocking.their singpost courier broke our letter box trying to squeeze wall paper in made our letter box cannot be open by normal keys and still lazada blame us for not receiving furthur items from singpost courier at letter box.very unreasonable and always side with their courier so I think Customer Service poor
