I get this after they tried to buy me off with just $500. I didn't sign. THIS is why they have such a high rating!

I'd rate -stars if it were possible. All they'll do is take your money & run. No 100% warranty and certainly no customer service! Scammers! Take advantage of senior citizens & veterans!

Had a rep.come to my house for an estimate. After a sales pitch he offered new gutters for $14,700.
I have a 1 story 1900 sf home.
Almost 15K for gutters, really. I told him "no way". In less than 2 min. He dropped the price to $11,500
This is a total rip off company that preys on the un-informed.
Stay away from them. Don't know how they sleep at night

There were a few hiccups but the company sent laborers out to fix the problem within the week. They were apologetic and thoughtful as they made their product as it should be. I have not been on top of the roof but hope all is exactly what they said. Job OKC *******

I asked to be removed from the call list, but they continue to call me twice per day even at night. I consider this a harassing sales tactic. They should stop calling me. When I block one number, they call me on another. I don't know what their problem is, but their behavior is really bad. Based on this harassment I would never buy their product.

If you have pine trees on your property, you won't benefit from Leaffilter. The pine needles collect on top of the screening and back up onto the roof, causing shingle damage. I paid over $3,900 for Leaffilter. When I called them, they want to charge me $95 to clean the pine needles off of the gutters. I am 77 years old. They advertise that you will never need to get up on a ladder again. Don't believe them. This product should never be sold to anyone having issues with pine needles.

Paid $3,500.00 for LeafFilter.com product (intall and LIFETIME WARRANTY). After only a year the system failed and LeafFilter.com did not honor their warranty charging me hundreds of dollars to repair their incompetence installation.
I suspect LeafFilter.com paid for reputation boosting. Also discovered they were sued by their customers in a Class Action Lawsuit in 2023 which they lost.
Spend your $ with a more reputable company that stands behind their product

Extremely unhappy. One year in and one popped off. Called for service and made an appointment. A guy showed up two days early when no one was home and said everything was fine. I called and told them it was not fine and that I wanted to keep the same appointment. Sat here all day and no one showed up. Customer service personnel argued with me on the phone. For what the product costs the customer service should be much better.

I needed simple gutter repairs to existing gutters. I made the mistake of filling out a request for quote with what was represented as a local gutter service (nowhere did the site say LeafFilter), result from a Google search
My contact info was sent over to Leaf filter and I've been getting wake up calls every morning. Blocking the number won't work, you get another automated call from a different no. I called them and asked them to remove my contact info. I'll see if it works. I don't appreciate the bait n switch marketing. I can't afford thousands for gutters and have no patience for hard sell tactics.

Yes, I had to leave filter stole gutters and leaf filter system in 2020. They sold the back gutter all the way up against the shingles. So now the water is flowing back underneath the shingles and then back into the house which is closing major damage if anybody is going to use them make sure that they do the job right and you have somebody there. They can look at it before they leave, now they've done all kinds of damage to the walls. Now I have to replace all the sheet rock. Now they don't wanna come out and do anything about it. They keep on telling you that they are.

I will start by saying that I think LeafFilter is selling a good product, and all of the installers I dealt with were very competent, courteous, and honest. Ultimately, I am happy with the installation, but your mileage may vary greatly depending on the quality of the local office arranging the jobs. The Albany, NY branch operations were terrible. It started off poorly with a salesperson who made a bunch of promises about job timing and process and made good on none of them. LeafFilter struggled to arrange my installations, struggled to provide accurate contracts that reflected what we discussed, did not send the right quantity of installers the first time for either of my jobs, and did not send the installers with the correct Bill of Materials for the job. When I was finally able to get installers on site, I had to re-explain both jobs to them as they had been sent without proper briefs from their schedulers and had been sent with extra materials that were not applicable. LeafFilter seems to be selling a good product, but their Albany, NY branch management is certainly not representing the company the way it portrays itself in terms of competence or professionalism.

Salesman named Justin strong armed my wife with pushy sales tactics. When my wife told him she'd have to talk with me he had her sign paperwork as he told her it was he did an estimate and provided a quote. I got home and read the paperwork and found out it was an actual contract for installation of $3500. I had my wife called Justin immediately and cancel which he said fine. The very next day while we were at work Justin had the installers come to our home. They left an incredible mess with metal pieces all over our yards available for our dogs to get at. I called with a less than nice message informing him to come remove the crap off our house because we weren't paying for anything under such shady sales tactics. I received a certified letter from a Trina Williams stating since we didn't cancel the order we'd have to pay $3500. I informed this woman we did cancel with the salesman and not only did he say fine. He still sent the installers out the very next day. This is the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. I've even called their 800 number three times and after speaking with three different people saying it would be dealt with, we're still getting harassed by this company!

The leaf filter's quality of product explains why warranty is worthless. I've had my filters for 8 months before hail damaged them. They sent service rep and was told warranty doesn't cover and wants to charge me the entire price I purchased them for 8 months ago plus additional $700 to replace! This company has the worst customer service for a subpar product. Warranty is worthless. And I can't get a superior like the owner of company to talk to me. Local Mgr says he's the authority and can't help me. Says pay the price or don't get them replaced. So I'm stuck with some filters that lasted 8 mos! $4800 down the drain!

BEWARE! I thought I was getting gitters with filters but all I got was gutters! Not worth the price for just gutters! I would have gone somewhere else. The salesman was misleading. Leaf "FILTER" means a filter system. The salesman told me all about the proprietary surgical material they use on the filter. When I complained he pointed out that he had written only "gutters" on the contract. He did me a "favor" because the filters are a "Cadillac" system costing twice as much. I think he knew I wouldn't have paid for that so sold me only gutters. Of course, I had no idea that Leaf "FILTER" made gutters without the filter.

They won't answer any phone calls or texts about missing replacing a downspout. They overpriced me of course

I had such a great experience with Leaf Filter in Ohio that I also had it installed in my home in Florida. I was impressed with the salesman to the well-qualified and polite installers. Although it is expensive, I know it will save me from paying to have my gutters cleaned twice a year! I highly recommend Leaf Filter.

I called to get an estimate and the guy named Rob came out and quoted me over 14,000 dollars and then he acted like he was giving all these discounts to help and brought it down to over 8,000 dollars so I got ahold of corporate which the guy named Ray called me and was rude wouldn't hardly let me talk just kept taking up for his salesman rob they both are con artist trying to take advantage of people and rip them off he even asked me what would I like to pay then if I could choose then why did you try to over price me in the first place see I could have brought them alot of business but I don't deal with companies like that they both need to take a look at there selves because you treat people how you would want to be treated and when you do people dirty it will come back to you I'm a firm believer in that I've seen it happen with other people I would have went with them but like I said they are a company trying to rip people off so DO NOT GO WITH THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TOOK ADAVANTAGE OF!

Warranty is a joke. Doesn't cover anything and if you have your roof done and their service workers come to uninstall and reinstall it's a minimum of $450 or the warranty (that's not worth anything anyway---had to pay $150 after Ian took half my gutters and gutter screens out) is void. I'd rather let my roofers damage the gutter screens and replace with Home Depot gutter foam. Then the tech they send doesn't even have his shoes on all the way and wreaks of pot. Never again. Don't care if the warranty is voided. Not another dime will be given to these scammers.

The guttering was installed incorrectly and I had leakage damage all over my Victorian home. The guy that came to look at my complaint didn't show up twice and then when he did come I believe he was drinking! He ended up getting mad and taking his ladder and leaving! We are getting someone else to fix their junk and installation. They don't respond to complaints even corporate is rude and they do not respond. This company is not what they are advertising.

They will not stop bugging me to buy their product. I blocked their calls but it has made no difference. I'll never do business with this pushy company

Starts from day one when the salesperson tells you how great they are and promises everything then you have an installer that cancels every appointment and you lose work wages with late night calls cancelling at last minute. Managers do nothing as well just try rescheduling to another day they don't come. Job# ANA*******

2 months ago I had Leaf Filter come out to give me a quote. According to the less than professional salesman, he didn't drive an hour to "just give a quote". The filter part was going to be $12,000 ALONE. His gutter price started at $7700. We have an average size 2500sf home with an attached garage. We also have a detached 3 car garage.
When I said thank you for coming out, he got upset. Said the above quote and then said, "well, you're a contractor. I can give you a contractors discount". The price went down to $5800. I again said thanks and stood up. He started throwing his sales materials in his bag and stomped down our side walk, I didn't let him in our home. Then while I was talking to my painter, he came over and said "he could take all of his comission out, and at least the company would get the business". This price was $4400.
I told him thanks and to not hit our gate on his way out.
You think that would be the end. About two weeks later I get a text from the "sales manager". He says they have "left over materials from a big job in my area and the could discount my job". If you know anything about gutters, there are NO left over materials. The aluminum material comes on a very big roll. You just take it to the next job. His price now is $3632.14. Really... From $7700 to $3632.14 for, per his text, "the exact same material and warranty as quoted by the salesman". Can you believe their sales practices? How unethical is this? I am contractor, I own a custom closet business and I couldn't sleep doing what they are to customers, and I told him. I do feel sorry for all the people who fall for this. Oh, and by the way I had a small local company do all the gutters, with the same gauge materials, for $2500. Good luck.

PINE NEEDLES CLOG THE FILTER and GUTTER!

VERY, VERY UNHAPPY WITH LEAF FILTER.

We live in the country with 80 ft pine trees on the windward side of the house. The sales person claimed no issue with the needles after we asked specifically about them. He also said full money back if the system didn't work. Pine needles were the main topic at our meeting. This was July 27/23 therefore at that time there were minimal needles falling. After install the VERY NEXT DAY needles appeared sticking out of the filter. A week later more needles of course starting to clog the filter.

This fall the needles started to fall leaving a carpet of needles on the roof, ground and the filters completely clogged. At this time leaves had not started falling. Once the leaves started to fall they would jam up in the needles and further the clogging. I asked leaf filter to send an inspector out to see the problem. They sent a technician to clean gutters, not inspect. I know now they did this to delay the process to push everything back till after the fall season. At that time pictures were taken before and after plus I specifically pointed out to the technician the needles collecting at the down spout in the gutter also.

The very next day after cleaning the filter was clogged again with needles. I again asked them to send an inspector. A week later an inspector did show up and pictures were taken.

A week later the gutter itself started to clog inside at the downspout. I tried to reach leaf filter and after many ignored calls, and very slow response finally the regional manager called.

He did not want to honour the full money back warranty. He wanted to send yet another crew out to totally remove the filters, clean and reinstall. Then he offered 75% of my money back. They are required to provide full money back!

So now next week, mid Nov they will come, remove all filters, reinstall so they can prove their system works to me? Of course we will not know for another year when the needles fall again!. I did clearly explain their system does not work for pine needles. I have proof of that.

Doing this now is very timely for them. Needles have now stopped falling, leaves are off the trees. This will push any type warranty claim till next fall.

THEY WILL GET TO KEEP OUR MONEY FOR ANOTHER YEAR!

Simply put, pine needles clog the filter and work their way through the filter into the gutter. FULL STOP!. Leaf filter claim of no issue with pine needles is simply FALSE.

I talked with other gutter technicians since the install and all said there is not a gutter protection on the market that will stop pine needles. Also, that leaf filter will do everything they can NOT to honour their warranty.

Unfortunately I see the only resolution on this matter is through the courts.

I gave them lots of chances to make this right and they refuse.

So, how to make this right.

Honour your warranty.
Stop claiming your filter has no issues with pine needles.
Don't sell to homes with lots of pine trees around it.
