LegalZoom: Start a Business

I had a really great experience with Legalzoom I called them to help me to file paperwork for my non profit business. The agent was very knowledgeable and kind enough to take the time to explain everything I didn't understand. Very friendly and made me feel so confident in Legalzoom to take care of the things I didn't know.

Legal Zoom sucks you in on a low price to handle some tedious government process (like filing a DBA). At the end of filling out their forms, which are really just prettied up versions of awful government forms, they add in the price of the government filing fees, which can double the price you thought you would otherwise pay.

Their customer support is almost non-existent and brain dead when they do reply. I've been waiting "weeks" to get a response that tells me "what" I need to do to fix an issue, because all they did was send some boilerplate with a government form and no directions as to what to do with it. Brain dead.

They have a phone number with a "we'll call you back" option. Nobody calls you back, and if they did the wait time can be so awful, it may as well have a laugh track. Jokes on you.

The agent Christa was polite, professional, and catered to my needs. She answered my questions with knowledge and honesty. By the end of our call, I was confident that LegalZoom was a great fit for me. Keep up the good work, Christa.

There are a lot of agencies that have reps that are not too nice when you ask a lot of questions. The Legal Zoom rep was attentive, and he answered questions that I had doubts about and he was very pleasant to talk to. I look forward to speaking with him again when I decide how I am going to proceed.

The website was very late in replying me. I didn't receive any response for more than three weeks for which i had to shift on some other company. They are dealing in fraudulent practices.
