I wish I could give them negative stars. Whenever I call, I'm either hung up on or on hold for 45 minutes, then hung up on. Not to mention I was told one of our patients wasn't in their system, however our office has received several confirmations and other faxes directly from Lincare regarding this patient. Either the reps are WAY undertrained or they just don't care. I don't know which is worse. Do better Lincare. You're letting a LOT of patients down.

Lincare is without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life, and I am 57 years old. I was receiving CPAP supplies from them by mail and on 4 occasions they sent me supplies that I did not order. I would have to contact them, then send the unauthorized supplies back to them, and it would take them literally 2 months to get my account adjusted to reflect the overcharge. And while waiting on that to happen I would get another bill in the mail stating I was "late" and needed to pay my bill immediately. When I contacted a supervisor, she did nothing but blame and pass the buck onto other people, and deny to have any way to help me. I thought I was talking to Donald Trump by the way she was deflecting, denying, and scrambling all over the topic without actually even saying anything useful at all. The last time my stress level reached an all time high. It's 2024 and the days of allowing crappy businesses to get away with sorry customer service are over with for me because I am going to expose every one of them no matter how much of my time it takes. This places does not need to be in business at all. I wished I could leave negative amount of stars because i certainly would.

Tip for consumers:
They are a dishonest and incompetent company. They send you more supplies and items you did not order because they are just hoping you will just pay for it and go on. And while you are waiting for your account to be adjusted, they will send you bills stating you are late and demand you pay immediately.

I called twice about my concentrator oxygen machine(waited 5 hours between calls) I only had for 4 days, on hold both times for 25 min. Same things said but not one correction for it or personal visit as told would happen about the problem. Can't believe a wonderful place like Roswell Cancer would use them. Don't know what to do now with the problem. Actually would give less then one if I could

I have been trying to reach their billing department for 2 months at the Greenville, North Carolina location, l have tried all hours. Yesterday, l held on 44 minutes and no one ever answered. I tried to enroll online, that was unsuccessful and l decided to call the 800 number and made a payment, not knowing what was due because l couldn't get through to billing. I just don't understand their customer service.

Lincare has been the worse company that I have had to deal with on trying to get hold of someone and also trying to stop shipping supplies, I have called my doctor, insurance company and of course lincare but to no avail. Lincare is very difficult and will lie to you about everything. I have asked for return shipment labels and they just said that is a different department and will get back to me. Of course nothing. Now they are sending me to a collection agency after having told me they would have the shipping department call me. What ever you do, avoid getting into bed with Lincare because they will find anyway at all to keep shipping unwanted supplies. I even had to go to my local office 3 times before they would even close my account and that took approx. 4 months, meanwhile supplies kept coming because I was not allowed to stop shipment. They told me that the doctor and insurance said they could. So you as the patient and customer have no rights as far as this company is concerned. They are not worried about your health only your money. In case someone wonders, they even said they would record our conversations. Rating of this company is below even a 1 star.

Tip for consumers:
Do not ever fall for the trap of auto shipment. This is a fraud that you cannot stop even if requested

Moved called office no one would pick up. Moved out of state took equipment with us, called lincare in the new state. Told them in CT. Would not pick up equipment. They agreed to pick it up, even tho they did not use the tanks. Main office trying to charge me. Its BS since new state picked up the tanks with filling machine and concentrator,,, it should be in their records. Or do they not record items. Told them come by my house have no equipment of theres. My husband old boss gave my husband a new concentrator he had in storage. This ones light blue... lincares are grey. Worst company to work with,, total headache.

I wrote review last week of how unhappy I was with Lincare not calling me back about my new C Pap machine which was approved by Insurance
Today went to location Famingdale wanting my Rx to go to other company. Daniele at front desk was very helpful. Tina came out from office said we are so sorry that no one called you back she made call to doctor and was so understanding. So thanks to Tina I was able to get my machine and leave as a happy customer once again

The employees and customers are not valued whatsoever. CASH IS KING! Revenue is the only thing that matters to this company period. Heck we have not had a sign on the building in Sioux Falls for 2 years. We moved recently and corporate doesn't give a damn at all. Cost to much! Now when our annual raises are coming up they put them off until July. Seriously. We are already paid the worst in the industry! Management only cares about their bonus and they don't give any to the lower peons as we are only the working bees. They want more work out of you and no more pay for all the work you do. It's difficult to keep drivers due to the fact they have a camera on them and GPS so you don't screw around. The whole culture is rotten to the core. From the top down!

I think all management from the CEO on down should be fired. This company is owned my Nazi germany

They deny patients O2 they need then threaten collection over Insurance payments of $10.36. Then blame distributors for their failures...

I haven't received a billing statement from Lincare in months, so when I checked my bank account Lincare withdrew $341.00 saying it was from BCBS not paying the bill from part of 2023. I never got a statement saying that the insurance didn't pay the bill. Why am I having to find out by checking my banking and see where Lincare helped themselves to my bank account. They have never told me how they can just go into my account without my permission. Amanda was rude and kept talking over me when I was talking and lied and tried to say I signed something when I did not. A cpap machine that you have to pay $60 a month is outrageous. I will be giving back their cpap and will be buying my own. Stay away from this Company!

I returned my CPAP in April of 2023. One day later my credit card was charged over $300.00 for an unexplained reason. I canceled all services but continued to be billed. They've deducted over $800 since I canceled the service in April. In the early/mid part of November, I had a very heated conversation with them after they refused to return the money that they charged my card after their service was canceled. This evening, I reviewed my credit card bill and found that Lincare had charged over $150.00 on November 30th. At this point, they're trying to steal from me. I would avoid doing business with this company if at all possible.

In Little Rock, Lincare has untrained customer service reps After 3 weeks of back and forth for a nebulizer I have to give up They state the problem is fixed with the doctors signature and then claim it's not signed when it is. End results no nebulizer

I am a caregiver and on Friday we had to get a new o2 concentrator for my client. The driver arrived smelling like smoke so badly that after he left the house still smelled. We eventually realized it was the o2 concentrator and had to remove it. These customers have breathing problems that require oxygen so to smoke in the vehicle you are delivering their equipment in is ludicrous. Not only is it rude and unprofessional to come in someone's home representing a company smelling like that it is unhealthy for the people who already have breathing issues!

If Lincare really recorded your order on the phone for supplies? And a person, or recipient customer were to document what they actually received! Your insurance company and you should sue them for robbery! I didn't even get one of the items I ordered! But instead an over abundance of everything I didn't need! They do this on a regular basis! Worst rip off company crooks I have ever dealt with! And I will let my insurance provider know how much they are being taken for! I ordered a 10 ft. CPAP hose which was not in the box. Instead I get a years supply of everything else!

I needed a wheelchair to leave rehab. My husband made arrangements to buy a wheelchair from Lincare. They said our insurance company would pay 80% and we would be responsible for the rest. They asked my husband if he wanted to pay the balance all at once or pay over a few months. He opted to pay it monthly. Fast forward a year and suddenly we get a notice from Lincare asking for my new insurance information. I called inquiring about this since the claim should have already been submitted a year ago to my old insurance company. After many frustrating phone calls to the billing department at Lincare it became clear that they never sent the claim to my old insurance company and were trying to send it in as a monthly rental to my new insurance company. It's interesting to note that most insurance companies do not cover month to month rentals of medical equipment- including both of my companies (the old one and the new one). Additionally, they were not giving us credit for the amount of money my husband had already paid. I told the billing department to send us an itemized bill, including the amount that had already been paid. In the meantime I called both insurance companies and neither one had any record of Lincare sending a claim. They both said they would not cover a monthly rental for medical equipment. So, I called Lincare again stating this information. I told them that we would pay for the wheelchair if we got an itemized bill stating the full amount minus the amount my husband had already paid. We never got a bill from them notating what my husband has already paid, even though my husband-after many phone calls, had a Lincare employee admit they had records of some of his payments. Anyway, a few weeks later-while we were waiting for an itemized bill, Lincare,
Without authorization, took out money for the entire amount of the wheelchair from his bank account. While trying to dispute this, Lincare-again, took out of my husband's bank account another charge for the full amount. At this moment, Lincare has received double the full amount for the wheelchair in addition to the eighty plus dollars my husband has already paid! He had to cancel his debit card to stop Lincare from continuing to charge us for the wheelchair chair they have already been paid for twice! Horrible company! I will NEVER do business with this company again. I encourage everyone to boycott them. If you have to do business with them, make sure you make them accountable, get in writing exactly what they are billing for and make sure your insurance company guidelines are in alignment with Lincare's billing. Follow up with your insurance company to make sure they receive the claim! If not hound Lincare to make sure they submit the claim. Do not let Lincare charge you for a rental! I am reporting this incident to the New York Attorney General and Better Business Bureau.

When I initiated my Lincare service almost 10 years ago, they "didn't have the proper documentation to initiate my monthly payment plan", and promised that they would contact my insurance to get it sorted out. I started getting insurance coverage explanations stating how much they were paying to Lincare each month, and did not receive any further contact from them so I assumed that everything had been "sorted out" as promised. That's on me. I should not have trusted them. It was a full two years later that I got a "final notice" stating that I owed them hundreds of dollars for supplies that I had received. I called to find out what was going on. They said that insurance was paying their part, but that I never had. I attempted to set up an automatic monthly payment plan like they had promised would be handled from the beginning, but when I told them how much I could afford to pay each month (I am on a fixed income), the REFUSED to set up the plan because the amount was "insufficient to level the balance". The amount I had offered was more than double what I had been assured was the highest monthly cost for supplies out of pocket. I was told that I would have to make manual payments, as they would not do a plan for me unless I offered THREE TIMES what I had told them I could afford to pay, which was absolutely impossible for me. So I proceeded to make monthly payments through their web site or mailed in. When I moved, I made sure to update my address with their billing department, and their shipping department, as well as the main "accounts holding" department. It took several calls. That was 8 years ago. Last year, I started getting payments returned to me as being "insufficient" to cover the bill. No one could tell me why, except that I "owed too much for past supplies" (that I had tried to cancel, but the cancellation was impossible). Lincare then took those returned payments as "proof of non-payment on the account" and sent me to collections. During this time, they continued to send me more supplies that I had cancelled, and billed me for those, too! Except, I would receive the individual monthly bill for the supplies they sent, however, by the time I had physically gotten the bill, they had already sent it to collections. When I desperately spoke to billing to find out what was going on, I was told that because they had opened collections on my account, every invoice would automatically be sent straight to collections upon being generated, giving me NO opportunity to pay it. They STILL refused to cancel my account/delivery of supplies. After spending weeks trying to find the "right person" to talk to - getting hung up on, disconnected, condescended to, and mocked when I *did* get to speak to a real person - I finally reached a very helpful lady who promised to get my account closed, except that I had a CREDIT on my account that wasn't being applied to my outstanding bill? Apparently the money they received that they didn't send back, was just dumped somewhere and not applied to my bill, further adding "proof of non-payment" to justify sending my account to collections. Again and again and AGAIN! I currently have FOUR open collections accounts from Lincare, my credit is destroyed, and I STILL have no guarantee that I will stop being billed for supplies! Also, when I spoke to this helpful woman, my OLD ADDRESS WAS STILL ON FILE to have things shipped to! I did my due diligence, and they have mishandled and taken advantage of me every step of the way.My credit is ruined, my fiances are in shambles, and I don't know how I can go on. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LINCARE!

I I called this morning to cancel my seat back appointment because I had a procedure done yesterday unable to make I respect and call back before 1:00 so I called back the girl on the phone was just totally rude send the girl will have to get back with you when she gets time and I turn papers over on August 23rd I called back three or four weeks later no papers okay I called my doctor back they refax it so I waited a week I called back she said the papers were there they just need to process so I called back again because I haven't heard anything she said they never did receive anything well the girl I talk to you since you received my baby so what's going on well we don't have no papers here I said okay fine I will have them send it back to you again so I had her send them then I call I said I'm calling to see if you received them papers from my doctor oh yes we have them right here I said okay thank you that's all I wanted to know so finally I get a call and I told her Tuesday when she called me then I was having a bossy well she said nobody's going to be there there's your Friday I said well okay I'll try well I can't so I called this morning and this is where I'm at but you know there's no sense being that way I know they're a big company but I can change that company please I went to you know this is bull oh one more thing I called and ask if I can get affordable they didn't tell me there was any condition on it or this or that or when it's walked over and then they told me there was conditioned on me to get horrible option which is fine but you could tell me up front all right I haven't been with him long and the experience I've had with so far this really sucks I didn't know people could be so rude especially the girl that answers anyway one of those really rude next time I'm going to get her name if u don't like your job leave it.u are working with people that are sick In some way they don't need for u to be mean to them too.will it do any good from the rating doesn't look like it..

Very terrible customer service. Been waiting almost a month just to get set up as a customer despite needing medical supplies. Whenever I call for a status update I get caught in a phone loop being transferred to various departments multiple times. Highly discourage anybody from using this company.

Dealing with Lincare has been one of the worst experiences in my 30+ years as a patient. They have failed to respect the contract which I signed when I picked up my CPAP equipment, and added a variety of charges which were not presented to me. They have bombarded me with a variety of fees and did not even mail invoices to the proper address. When these were not paid (since i had not received them), they referred me to collections. They could have easily located me.
I have never encountered this level of greed and deceit during my three decades of working as a physician. This company is disorganized, unethical, and entirely incapable of identifying and rectifying their errors. I have paid them and zeroed out my account twice, only to receive phone calls and invoices asking for more payments. I have given them confirmation codes which they claim they cannot track down. By all means do your best to stay away from this company - you will lose your shirt with these folks. And for some reason the better business bureau has been unwilling to take action. That's probably due to their well-funded lobbyists, who unfortunately donate to our representatives. This seems to have somehow kept them out of trouble. But the Internet is more accurate - do yourself a big favor and find other companies for your health needs.

I almost never write 1 star reviews, but don't really have a choice in this case. I am doing much better with the new CPAP device which i obtained from Lincare, but definitely regret having signed up with this organization. There are many reasons for the low score, as follows: 1) They have not followed the contract which i signed when i initially picked up the machine. The billing numbers are all massively inflated. 2) They mistakenly mailed my invoices to an old address, though i had filled out all of current info. Then, after 5 months, i received a call from a collections agency. That's very unethical. 3) They are billing me for inappropriate components; for example, they never told me that they would bill for a humidifier chamber which is part of the device. This has been billed at over $30 monthly, which is really reprehensible and dishonest. The little gauze filters are billed out at about $5 each - really?) 4) The teams at both Lincare and Carecentrix are very difficult to reach, and are not taking any responsibility for the errors mentioned above. They are simply billing the insurance as much as legally permissible, plus more, and due to my deductible, the massive bills have all been sent over to me. I now owe them more than $2000, which is placing severe strain since i am not able to work at this time. 6) they are not really negotiating with me regarding possible solutions. I certainly want to reach a resolution, but they are not reasonable or supportive. 5) One employee agreed that i have been overcharged; however, she did not have the authority to adjust my bill. At least there is one honest person there, though she could not help me. 6) I have had zero assistance with my difficulties with my mask; they never set up any fitting appointments, but seemed to want to get me out of office as soon as possible. I was expecting to see an respiratory therapist at some point. I have submitted complaints to their office as well as the Better Business Bureau, but has not had any success to date. For your own good, please stay away from both Lincare as well as Carecentrix if you have any possible options elsewhere. It's been a real nightmare.

be very careful to get a comprehensive contract which the company agrees to adhere to .

Ordered supplies for my cpad. Call after 3 weeks needed a new doctor order for it lincare lost it.

Luncare customer service does not follow through orders. Loose paperwork and does nothing to help

I have a handicapped daughter that I have been trying to get formula for 6 months! I have been told it is in stock. They will send it and they do not. I have used up all of my reserves and to day. I was told nothing can be done until next week. I'd like to know what I'm supposed to feed her air? This company has gone to the dogs!

Tip for consumers:
On call support should be able to do something or else. Why are they there? For example, tyranny with a phone number of (181)6489-1863 out of missouri was as useless as tits on the boar!

On 9/15/22 I requested my oxygen concentrator to be serviced
Told 9/16, no show
My health is poor and I have had this equipment replaced so I really dont trust it.
I'm told it doesnt need to be serviced, ever.
I spoke with a woman at Lincare ******* on 9/21/22, I explained the situation, her response in a smart alecky tone "you didnt talk to me " she then assured me a service person would be at my home after 5pm 9/21, no show

Very poor attitude and service from this office and the 2 employees that I spoke with
Evidently the first woman failed to tell the service guy and failed to note it in a work order.
I don't think the manufacturer intended this concentrator to be care free as suggested by this office, it has filters and water bottle which are not intended to last forever, this is not an isolated incident
Every time I do have service I request they return periodically
This is so I don't have to remember to contact them
Obviously it falls in deaf ears
I have spent 4 days at home anticipating service before I undergo surgery (at least) they have had 1 week, 7 days to service my concentrator, I'm about 8 miles from the office. During this week I know service has drove past my home without stopping
I assume because these 2 newer employees failed to do their job
I make a point to go to the office when I need supplies mainly due to this same situation of not showing up.
I feel like my time is valuable, unlike this office
I spent 4 days sitting home afraid to leave thinking the service person will show up
I use to get a nurse visit periodically, its been many years ago. When I questioned this I was told they dont have a nurse anymore, this is pre covid too
So has my premium lower due to no nurse visits?
I feel like I'm done with these liars
I employ them to take care of my oxygen needs and they have failed me over and over
#2 this $1.95 tool used with my nebulizer is worthless, they dont work well at all. I have been using the same inhaler tool for over 1 year, I request a new one but they say "chad" will only order the cheap ones so I use the tubing and toss the rest.
At $2 per unit per month versus the better unit@ $10 per 6 months usage as I'm told doesnt make financial sense, they could save money using the better equipment. Am I wrong?
I can recite so many times I've had problems with this office but will only explain further upon request due to it probably falls on deaf ears

When I was out of town I needed supplies, when I next went to my local office I was talked to in a manner that I was surprised I took from Chad, he informed me I was not to get supplies from any other office, then said I was to call and get permission first
I was out of town, over 100 miles
I contacted the local Lincare office, I needed a headset for my CPAP unit. I was told LINCARE does not operate 24/7, quite opposite of what I was told upon sign up and Lincare does not carry CPAP supplies, another point of disgust, mail order only. I hate to think my CPAP would quit working, it would take about a week to replace it via email.
Well I guess I can pull the no show on today's visit

The serviceman showed up at 7pm, 1 week later and 4 days of my time, now I can go to the grocery store,, etc without worrying that I missed my appointment
No customer, especially in the health services needed realm should have to deal with the stress I've experienced this last week
A phone call telling me they are not coming today would of been appropriate
The service man said he was not told about my needs until shortly before showing up at my home this evening
I thanked him for his service for sure
I waited 6+months for a new nebulizer unit after being told it is emmitting a cancer causing agent. When questioned about a replacement I as told too bad. Not my concern, It was a manufacturer problem
But i could purchase a new unit otherwise i would have to wait for a factory replacement
I fail to see that Lincare cares for people and their health
