Disgraceful. Extremely slow and un-helpful. Some times rude, will definitely keep you waiting, will have you explain and discuss every aspect knowing they can't or have been almost instructed not to help though policy. Like their bored or think you have nothing better to do, only to put you back onto hold to listen to the Littlewoods album for 30-60mins+ then to put you through to another wrong department where you're expected to start again? Or cut you off. So called customer services. On going for 11months, nightmare :(

Disgraceful.

Ordered from Ireland - to be delivered 1st feb ( ordered 15th feb).
Contacted them on numerous occasions to be told tp be 'patient' as logistical problems.
Cant give me an update on my order when to expect etc and payment on account due soon. Why should I pay if haven't received? But told that I must make a payment even if haven't received goods.

No offer of any goodwill gesture ftom littlewoodsireland.ie e.g. changing payment date on my account or discount etc

Don't put yourself through the stress of trying to deal with these cowboys. Awful. Constantly mess up orders and leave the customer out of pocket instead of taking responsibility. Impossible to contact. Quick Google search and you'll see that all they get is one star reviews. Not worth the hassle

I have been a Littlewoods customer for over 40 years. I hadn't ordered anything for a while but when I did it was so difficult to access my account I wish I'd never bothered. I managed to set up a direct debit to pay for the item but they said before the direct debit was confirmed they required a payment by card. When I tried to access my account to do this it kept locking me out saying my details didn't match their records. It took 2 days of trying before I managed to get in. I've done it now but this may be the last thing I ever buy from them. Very poor website.

This company is a joke, first i was not looking for credit. I just wanted to buy LOL for my daughter which was part of her Christmas list.
I paid fully then they asked me to register after I paid, then they declined. For god sake I paid you for a product upfront how can you decide not to sell me.
You have ruined my daughters Christmas. I pray to god this will happen to you...

One year ago today on the 14th of June 2019, I was informed by the "Compliance & Operational Risk Director" that Littlewoods/Vary (AKA Shop Direct), would be changing their nonsensical 28-day/13 payments a year charging system for monthly payments and that this change in policy would be fully introduced by late 2019.

An yet here we are one year on and Littlewoods are still charging people 13 times a year, SO WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO KEEP THEIR WORD?

Every other organisation in the country can charge people on a calendar monthly basis so why can't they? As it isn't rocket science!

As an aside the aforementioned professional (an I do use that term extremely loosely), also promised that if anyone is given one of their illegal £12.00 charges for being late or actually missing a 2nd payment request that falls in the same month that these fees would be suspended. So, if you have received such a charge do hold them to account on this and claim back those monies, as I am willing to wager that there will be thousands of you - *******151

I ordered net curtains 144mm drop, the ones turning up were 100mm. I contacted Littlewoods as it was a while later before I could get them hung. They arranged a courier to pick them up which they did, the courier fixing his own label. I receiver no notification they had been returned nor could I find a breakdown of the statement on line, nor could the person I spoke to. I was promised a copy in the post, it never turned up. I must have spent over an hour on the phone with 3 people. They cannot trace the return or supply an invoice. I have been dealing with Littlewoods for year but since going all on line it's a disaster. Never again, I will stick to Ebay

Tip for consumers:
Their online site is horrible, you go round in circles and cannot find the answers you want. If it's strait forward purchase OK, but any query or problem become a headache

Poor service and facilities and a shoddy outfit avoid them at all costs if you have any sense, lets you open an account with a credit limit but wont let you order anything then they take your credit account off you, just as abysmal as jacamo and they are really bad so just dont bother with littlewoods

This we ordered went to the wrong address and said we signed for it and we got sent the other persons things by mistake, now they have lost our stuff

Missing parcel take tge piss to find and still get charged

Don't order alot of things at one time things go missing out of the return and they still charge u

I honestly wish I could give 0 stars or even negative numbers! This company is appalling so you should all avoid at all costs. I placed an order for AirPods on the 4th of May and still haven't received them! I called on the 15th of May and was greeted with a very rude and uninterested agent who mumbled at me and just said they'll be there by Wednesday'. Frustrated I just said thanks and just hung up as I was getting nowhere. Wednesday came and still no sign so I rang again and I was told that they don't really know what's going on with my order and as it hasn't been updated/ tracked since the 13th it potentially has been lost. The agent said she would contact the courier company and provide me with an update. Guess what, no update and no contact of any form. The website says standard delivery is 4 days, this is a joke and should be deleted because it is pure lies. Try standard delivery time: never. I want my money back and after that I will never shop here again and I will tell everyone I know to also avoid. I've placed a lot of orders from a lot of different places over the last few weeks and they've all been exceptional, communicating with me and delivering speedily. This is a disgrace and I'll be ringing again tomorrow, not that it will be of any help!

Littlewoods stores closed down quite a few years ago but their online store is still doing well. I find some of their styles are more for older people but they are still fairly cheap and good quality.

Crap company thay give you a credit account let you spend on it than close the account no letter ur anything the customer service is shocking absolute joke off a company

So I Purchased a tv in FEBUARY 2019! Didnt work proeprly from arrival regarding the wifi kept dropping out! Said they would have too send an engineer round too have a look ( only took a futhur two month) before this happned! Engineer Report thatmbecause its a new build the foil in the walls is causing the problem! ( he really) expected me to believe this, So i asked him how comes the other three smart tvs i have upstaires work fine and there all futhur away from the bt broandband router! ( in short stay away from this cow boy outfit) no intnetion off replacing / fixing faulty goods! £700 out off pocket thankyou littlewoods cant wait too reccomend you too all friends and family!

Absolutely appalling customer service. Like everyone else has seemed to found they are useless and do not even attempt to resolve your issues. I had a TV Delivered and it had a cracked screen. The box said to be carried by 2 men, was carried by one down a narrow alley which is totally stupid and it's no surprise it was broken. Tried to call but due to covid call times over 30 min. Spoke on FB messenger. Told to contact a company called Pacifica. Spoke to them they said they would arrange a return and call me, didn't call. Called them, gave me a number to give to littlewoods. Gave them this on messenger. Told to do online chat. Chat froze. Called them, told someone would call me to arrange delivery. No one did. Contacted them again on FB messenger. Was told courier arrow XL were not doing pick ups of large items. How is this my problem? They can deliver in the pandemic when lockdown is sticter but not pick up when it's been relaxed? As they damaged the TV it is their fault i want to return it, I haven't just changed my mind. Littlewoods just say not their fault it's Arrows. They said no I can't speak to a manager. I asked why they can't speak to arrow to query why one man was carrying the TV when it should be two and why they cant use another service. No answer just told will be collected when it's collected. This TV was delivered to me broken on the 6th of May. I have bought a new TV off AO who were great so I have a broken TV my living room. It's 55 inch. I don't have space for this with the new TV. Utterly disgusted with their lack of responsibility.

I purchased a game for my daughter for her Nintendo Switch and had the delivery address as my work as the game was to be from Santa. The package was delivered to my home address though and put in my postbox, where my daughter found it. This lead to several questions about Santa and why was mammy buying the gifts that she had asked Santa for. I called Littlewoods this morning to complain and after being on hold for 25 mins came back and said they will do nothing as the error was with the delivery company and not with them! I reminded the person on the phone I ordered from Littlewoods and was paying Littlewoods, my contract was not with Fastway couriers, it was with them and he reiterated that they would do nothing. I now have to go to the expense of buying another game from Santa and continue to answer questions from my young daughter as to why mammy is buying Santa gifts

Women pretty much said my problem not their delivery people fault.
Trying mix my words up,...

I order something from littlewoods and very they are the same company and use same delivery people. Right? Well my both item was not post be delivered till Wednesday so I got text while I was at work Friday at 12 in morning my item out for delivery so on my account says dont leave anything outside my door I got it written on the paper they posted so anyways my partner was post be at home as he works nights but he left at 10 to do somthing. Time I got in was around 3.40 around 4 I got another delivery witch I was not supost to have but lucky I got them! Partner came home hr after me I dont know time I'm tired as she ring me today at 9.30! I dont know times that dead on! She try twisting what I'm saying. If your partner been in since 3 he should got it like really what are you on about. To the point I said I have the paper show this but she goes well it not on my computer well what am I post to do about that? To this point I was not talking nicely! I went so it my fault then that you deliver the item early than plan and that your stupid delivery people left it out side my door n not my next door., I got everything eles. So not like I don't want pay for the 2 item I said ok I won't work n just stay in waiting for the item as clearly you don't keep to the dates. I said post have item delivered Monday I waited in all day! N I got text saying sorry we missed you I was like I was in all day and now get text it out today I'm waiting in for it so women on the phone says nothing she can do but to tell me if this happen my account well be closed. Or well stop delivery to your address so I went ok I guess I have get my stuff ssend it to mothers house. Like going make any difference really? Soo annoyed thanks for putting me in a $#*! mood! Just going pay my stuff of close it..

The first time I became aware of Littlewoods was when I began getting notices that I owed them between 114 lbs.and 194 lbs. I am in the US and I don't have any idea what I am supposed to have bought and cannot contact the company for info. The emails I receive are not reciprocal and the number they provide does not go through from here-- says it no longer exists. I went to their webpage and hit "contact us" and they apologize but say that this option is temporarily unavailable. I got a thank you last month for my payment of $144 lbs. but I don't have any record of it in my accounts and I can't find anyone to talk to. I got a recent email that this month, I owe 194lbs. How does anyone contact this company from the U.S.?

I have had an account with little woods for a few years now! Recently my credit went up. And I've had no problems. I called today to sort out delivery, to be told that I was falsely excepted and my account would be closed! I have been with little woods for years and after ordering everything which I haven't received yet to be told I owe money for things I haven't received is disgusting! DO NOT GET A LITTLE WOODS ACCOUNT!

This company is a complete and utter shambles. Bought some goods from them on a buy now pay later. Paid them every penny i owed in december and received an email confirming payment. They are continually chasing me for payments, two more demands received this morning. I have spent hours on the phone and have sent several emails asking them to update their details but to no avail. They are ruining my good credit rating, it already shows i have missed payments. STAY AWAY FROM LITTLEWOODS ALSO KNOWN AS SHOP DIRECT THEY DONT KNOW THEIR A**E FROM THERE THEIR ELBOW. I for one will have nothing to do with them ever again.

I WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF I COULD. WORST COMPANY EVER. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGH A COMPLAINT WITH THEM SINCE OCTOBER, AND THEY'VE DONE NOTHING BUT AFFECT MY CREDIT. THEY PASS YOU ON FROM DEPARTMENT TO DEPARTMENT, WHO FEED YOU WITH LIES AND FALSE PROMISES. I REGRET OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. I WILL CONTINUE TO POST THIS ON EVERY REVIEW SITE, MAYBE THIS WILL GET THEIR ATTENTION.

I never write reviews but feel compelled to in this case. Never have I experienced such a mess with a company in my life! I made an order for the first time with this company - a very simple order of a pair of Nike runners that had a 20% discount on offer so 88 instead of 110. I logged into my account and seen that my name & address was a bit messed up, fixed it & made the order. Received no email of confirmation etc but seen the 88 was pending in my bank account so that was fine. Still no email the next day i logged back into my account only to find the order had been declined? An email would have been nice to notify me! Went onto the online chat and was explained to that the order had been declined as my name & address was mixed up (I had previously fixed it before the order but it somehow came messed up again!) So was told to set up a new account as this couldn't be changed and to reorder and they confirmed my last order would not be processed and no funds will be taken. The runners were back up to 110 so they confirmed that they hold a price guarantee for 28 days and if i reorder and pay the 110 they will refund me the difference so i kept hold of the girl on chat as I set up a new account and reordered, gave her the order number and she said she could do the refund process straight away - on hold for 5 mins and came back to me saying sorry i can't do it until the order is processed which can take 48 hours so come back than - okay fine. Next day logged back in - order declined again, this time the excuse was they don't deliver to a business address so order was cancelled, another chat log they told me the order was declined because i had two accounts and security removed one account (I was told to set up a new account?). In the end a nice man Ian called me and put the order through over the phone for me for the 88 and guess what... to my business address! Received my confirmation email, funds were taken from my account and received my order a week later - hallelujah!

Roll on over a week later... i receive an email yesterday saying my order has been processed and on it's way to my home address? Checked my bank account this morning and 110 taken - is this an actual joke? One of the declined orders was processed 2 weeks later! Back onto chat and a nice girl called Sally was very apologetic and put me through to the track and trace team to cancel the order. Where i was greeted by the rudest staff member i have came across in a long time, I kept saying it's not her fault but i am very annoyed and upset at this point with Littlewoods, the reply's were sarcastic and rude. Waiting now 3-5 days for a refund. My FIRST time ordering from Little Woods Ireland and my LAST time. AVOID at all costs to save your sanity!

Update: The item was delivered even though i was told by Littlewoods it would be cancelled (I was out but it got signed for in my absence). I returned it the following morning. They received it on the 13th April and today is the 23rd April where i am still waiting on a refund. On live chat and have been told they can see the return was picked up but no refund on the system... AVOID!

Appalling service. In fact words cannot describe how absolutely atrocious their customer service is. Have dealt with them twice. First to get an invoice after we'd ordered some beds for our business. An invoice. You'd think you could just log in to your account and print it off. That would be the sensible thing to do. No. 12 phone calls, 16 emails and 3 months waiting. For an invoice. So we never ordered from them again.
Next time was for a trampoline that my wife ordered. Payment made with the order online. Two months later no trampoline. No confirmation email, no receipt no nothing. Every time my wife rang customer service they hung up on her before she even got to explain anything. When she eventually got through to someone who didn't hang up they said they couldn't trace it but the would escalate' the issue. And then nothing. They would call back. They didn't. They would trace the item and ring back. They didn't. We wanted a refund. We would have to wait until they had traced the item. They couldn't trace it. They'll ring back. They never ever did. Eventually after over an hour listening to some customer service agent in India insisting that all they could do was escalate the issue, even though I had informed them the issue had been escalated through the clouds at this stage, I demanded to talk to a manager, and after several hoops jumped through we got our refund. And then a week later someone arrived to deliver a trampoline. After 3 months.
We ordered with another company who took our order, gave a receipt, rang us to thank us and delivered our trampoline two days later.
Never deal with this company unless you have a sadomasochistic streak. Beyond incompetent.
