I order from Loveknitting all the time and have always found their service wonderful. Product variety is fantastic, delivery of orders super and any time I have had a question, response has been in a timely manner. The cost of delivery is amazing! I live in Australia and if I were to order online from one of Australia's website, it would be far more expensive than ordering from Loveknitting. I would definitely recommend this company and have recommended them to many people in Australia.

There's no way they processed this order in 3 min. The confirmation for BOTH orders shows the next days date! You have to return to get a refund. Of course that's minus the taxes and shipping they charge plus the Reuther shipping charges. What a rip off! What company doesn't have a time allowance for canceling or even adding to your order adjusting quantities. Thru their customer service? And they call themselves the "Smile team". I have been waiting for 16 days for my product only to be told not to contact them again for two more weeks. I have requested a refund 3 times only to be told the name of the shipping company and it could take 5-10 days for delivery! We are way past that. Next stop is a complaint to the better business bureau. Stay away you won't get anything and have your money taken.
I have bought every single edition of love knitting, and I have decided reluctantly to cancel my order. The reason is quite simple, I don't want or need the extras' with the magazine. If I want to knit toys I will use a pattern from the magazine or patterns I have at home. As these unwanted items' are foisted on the customers the price has shot up to £8.99 which is ridiculous. Who wants to pay £8.99 on extras they don't need? I'm sure I'm not the only customer who feels this way. So it's a shame, but I have to stop buying this lovely, helpful magazine.

Can not believe the bad reviews this company has received - I've had nothing but wonderful service from them. I order pretty frequently as I give out prizes to my pattern testers and most times the prize is 5 skeins of yarn from LoveCrafts... haven't had a problem even once. I've ordered yarn for myself and patterns for myself, again never a problem. I've had questions from time to time and my emails are answered in a very reasonable amount of time. I frequently recommend LoveCrafts to all my crafty friends. PS and the yarn arrives in pretty organza bags <3
I used to love shopping at Love Knitting, the parcel use to arrive fairly quickly, but the last order I placed 3 weeks ago and still nothing. The time before that was very very slow. I am thinking of changing to shopping at Deramores which I have shopped with before and much better. A shame because you have great wool,

A while back i had ordered catania yarn, it was shipped from the UK and after waiting for 4 weeks was told that the order got lost. But LOVE KNITTING reordered the yarn and i received the yarn. It took almost 8 weeks from the day that i first made my order. But that was not the companies fault. Since i am a knitter i have patience and all worked out. Have made some more orders since then and i am more then happy with the service the price and quality of the yarns. Thank You Respectfully Christine Z.
I love to knit and have lots of experience. However, I recently ran into a problem with instructions for a baby sweater I am working on. When I called for help, the person I spoke to couldn't inure it out either and said she would send it to their designer team. I have emailed several times but it has been two weeks and still do not have the help I need. Very disappointing!

A lot of our patterns are by independent designers and sometimes we need to contact them directly to clarify the instructions that may take some time. This is the third time I have ordered through them. The first time was not too bad, a little longer wait but still acceptable. The second time they had not shipped it a week later so I cancelled and bought elsewhere. This time is absolutely ridiculous. I noticed that the order has been sitting at the USPS distribution center half an hour from my home for over a week. I emailed them, to ask them to look into they delay. There response was to give me the tracking number again and tell me they hope it arrives soon but if not I could check back with them on September 7. I placed my order on July 29! I will likely still purchase and download patterns from the talented people on this site, but never yarn or other tools that need to be shipped!

I order from Loveknitting (lovecrafts) all the time. At least once a month. They run coupons all the time and if you order, you will get an appreciation coupon via email or included with your order... usually for 20% off your next order. They also run specials on the different yarn brands like Juniper Moon, Anzula, Cascade, etc. Yarn is great quality, packed well inside organza bags. I normally almost always get my orders within 4-5 days of ordering but on my last order, my parcel sat and sat at the local distribution center for almost a week. I emailed Lovecrafts to alert them to the fact that my parcel still had not arrived by the estimated date specified on the OSM tracking page and they initiated a search for my parcel. Karina O with Lovecrafts was wonderful. She sent me daily updates via email until the package was found and out for delivery. I would recommend Lovecrafts to anyone who loves to knit.

I ordered a pattern from this website. I found an error in the pattern. After many emails back and forth for over a week, I received a new pdf of the pattern. The mistake was not even corrected. I finally had to go to the author of the pattern. After 2 emails, my problem was solved. Loveknitting has still not sent a corrected pattern. I suggest just skipping this website.

In July, I ordered yarn which took almost a month to arrive. I ordered the amount of yarn called for in the pattern (4 skeins). Upon starting The third skein, it looked smaller and when compared with the remaining skein it was about two thirds the size of it and I realized I would not have enough yarn to complete my project. On September 17, I contacted Love Crafts and received a response the next day saying they would ship me another skein. Here it is October 14 and no yarn. Customer service has been of no help other than give me a USPS tracKing number which has not been updated in ten days. This is totally unacceptable and a warning - beware of ordering from Love Crafts!

Unfortunately, a good company using a very bad delivery service. I have been a frequent customer of Loveknitting, but their use of DHL as their shipping service is a disaster! They refuse to provide decent tracking and the customer doesn't know if the package is lost or just delayed. Why Loveknitting doesn't just correct the situation with a trustworthy delivery service is beyond me. Regrettably, I will have to find a new source for my knitting yarn. I still have not received my last order, and no one has been able to tell me what's going on with it. I've requested that I be sent a new shipment or a refund, but Loveknitting says I have to wait another week! Really? Unacceptable!

I just placed an order 2/11/18 and have not received any e-mails about my order. My order says complete and shipped but no e-mail confirmation of either. Tried the number and it cant be connected? E-mailed customer service and just got auto reply. Feeling really nervous that I wont see the 9 skeins of yarn.
On their website it says:
All parcels from our US warehouse will be sent tracked, and you should receive your tracking ID on your dispatch confirmation email.
If your parcel is shipped from our UK warehouse, then unfortunately your order will not have tracking.

I cant get a hold of them and have not gotten an e-mail with my shipping tracking info. Just order limbo right now.

Customer service e-mailed me today and apologized that my shipment had not arrived yet, they also mentioned that shipments from England to US take about 10 business days. Which that is fine with me. I just would have liked an e-mail confirming my order was placed and approximately when I can expect it to arrive. Ill keep you all posted when my yarn arrives! Changed the stars to 3.

Changed my review to 5 stars. Great priced yarn, slight wait for arrival. I definitely suggest using PayPal so you have documentation of the order, unless you have a printer. Once I got over the panic of not receiving the e-mail confirmation this felt better. It helped to get reassurance from Loveknitting customer service that my order would arrive in about 10 days.

I ordered from this shop and had high hopes to receive the specific yarn I needed to only find that not only was my order mixed with someone else's, but when I was trying to ask to return the order and ask for a refund on my own, I was not only given a partial refund but also expected to waste more money sending the incorrect package back. As a first (and certainly last) time customer, I am highly disappointed in the service provided. Even with current issues with the virus going about, it's not a customer's job to fix the mistakes of the company, let alone to not be cheated out of money they paid. My advice is to look elsewhere for a more responsible provider in craft supplies.

I made a large order and what do you know. NO DISCOUNT,
I contacted the business and was advised that "discounts are not given in retrospect" and i could get future discounts with coupon codes on regular offers like everyone else does.
Very unhappy with false advertising, and bad business practice.

Service is hit or miss. It takes too long to receive the order and too long to process returns. Lastly, I ordered Malabrigo Lace in several colors and received Mixed Dye Lots only to have them tell me they disregard the dye lots because of color variance within lots. Anyone who uses Malabrigo know there can be color variation, however the yarn does come in dye lots, is clearly labelled with dye lots and they just completely disregard that only to have you return the yarn when the colors aren't remotely close. Nothing on their website states they ignore the dye lots

I started to oder yarn from LoveKnitting in January 2017. So far have done about 6 or 7 orders. All of them arrived to Australia within 2-3 weeks. Sometimes same order parcels( I always order a lot so they need to pack that staff in two bags) could be deliverd with 2-3 days difference but it was because of customs clearence. When i contacted them, their respond was very fast. Great shop with great variety of yarn! Great service! Here in Australia we have very poor choice of yarn so I was very happy when i found this shop. Just would like them add a few more yarn brands that are possible to buy from ebay or etsy. I will deffinitly order more from LoveKnitting and highly reccomend them to all my friends here in Australia and in Europe.
I think they must mail the orders third class for it to take so long. I did receive a shipment confirmation about 2 days after I placed my order. The tracking site it leads you to is not USPS, but does have a USPS tracking number. So I looked it up on the USPS site and it is a valid shipment. I am not sure about the updates because USPS isn't always very diligent, but I signed up to receive alerts via email to see if there is a problem. So we will see...
I like to keep a large selection of knitting patterns before deciding on which project to start on next. In November of last year, I placed an order for 8 patterns priced at £43.58, only 2 of which were ever received, despite the fact that I was charged for all of them! When I emailed them to find out what had happened with the others, I was told that they were only down-loadable. As I don't like my knitting patterns in this format, I told them to cancel the order and refund me the money I had already been charged. They had the nerve to tell me to traipse down to my local library for printouts. I have still received only 2 patterns, and no refund for the rest of the money stolen from me.
I have since bought some patterns from THE KNITTING NETWORK - an altogether more efficient and honest group of people, who don't mind sending their patterns by post to people who prefer it that way.
I know which company I will be buying my wools from...

Their prices are on the high side, so I have been in the habit of waiting for discount codes. The problem is, they don't seem to work. I have contacted them at least three times about this issue (at different times), and they always have an excuse (eg time zone - which I checked before trying to place the order). They then say to get in touch with them when you have a problem (which I do) and it can days for them to get back to you, which means that code is no longer valid anyway...
All I can say is - once is unfortunate, twice is coincidence, anything more is a pattern. I will not be giving them any further business, when there are other alternatives, such as woolwarehouse, with whom I have NEVER had a problem.

Don't know why there are negative reviews about these guys. They have always shipped out my yarn quickly and if there is ever a problem they take care of it immediately. I just placed my fifth order with them and I couldn't be happier. The fact that they have free shipping available is pretty amazing because they also have free returns which I have used. They ship quickly but sometimes the carrier sends the package all over before it gets to me so it takes a while. But hey, it's free so of course they are going to pick the method that is most cost effective for them! If your issue is slow shipping then pay for expedited shipping! I have never had anything but positive response from both the chat and emails I have sent them.
I had an ongoing complaint with this company about the different colours of yarns with the same specification. I am pleased to say that the company have now resolved this complaint to my satisfaction.
My mother found this site and ordered herself some yarn, and a month later is still waiting for it. They use some kind of super cheap and useless shipping service that places rock-bottom priority on getting packages anywhere anytime this century. I wish I had checked out their terrible reputation in advance.
