Working with Lunss was fairly fast and easy. The process took 7 weeks from design to delivery. I really enjoyed the dress making process with Helen! Helen was responsive and helpful. She gave me extra fabric for free so I could make a matching hair accessory. The dress is beautiful, fits perfectly, and is faithful to my inspiration. I'm only issue was that there was a loose eyelet on the corset back, but Lunss gave me a partial refund to compensate me for the repair. I was satisfied and will definitely use Lunss in the future.

Lunss dealt with me in the worst way possible. I hate myself for trusting them, with my court wedding dress. Since i cant afford ashi studio design. I figured i should ask these fools if they can sew me something similar. They assured me that they could sew the design, instead of just admitting that they cant do it. I received a horrible looking thing from them, that couldn't even fit me and they claim that it cant fit because I sent them the wrong measurements but they have nothing to say about the awful design they made. What they sent to me does not remotely look like the ashi design. They wrapped the dress like a piece of trash in a tiny bag. The packaging was so horrible that the boning of the petticoat inside was so badly bent that they could not get straight, even after 4hours of ironing, the boning never got back its shape. It was destroyed. I have asked them to even give me back half of the $350 I paid for this and they wont give me anything. I have been back and forth with them and my bank for months and they still wont give me anything... I paid 350 dollars gabbage. Even if this dress fit, it looks so horrible that its unwearable. Please everyone, learn from my mistake. DO NOT DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THIS PEOPLE. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SEND YOU TRASH. I have attached 2 photos below. The actual design of the dress i sent to them, and what i received from them. Judge for yourself. These people are thieves

Tansy has been a pleasure to work with when designing my wedding dress. I have been struggling to find the perfect wedding dress and was excited to come across Lunss to have a dress customised to suit my specific requirements.

The communication was excellent throughout the process and Tansy provided all the different recommendations and options available for me to choose from.

I had some extra time so was willing to to take a risk for the desired outcome.

The final photos that were sent over did not look as I would have liked it to on the mannequin but when I received the dress it looked AMAZING on so don't always judge the photos.

I would highly recommend Lunss Couture if you are looking for a custom wedding dress to suit your needs.
This does take time and patience so I would also suggest that you allow some time for the process if this is something you choose to do.

Thank you so much for your efforts and I look forward to sharing the photos after the wedding!

When I got my dress I was absolutely stumped how exactly the same product they made for with little customization that I wanted as to perfect amount. The material is so nice, each and every bead/pearl on the dress gives you feeling of hands with patience in it, very smooth and neat work. I didn't expect anything but excellency during the process of my ordering and making, I felt so much in ease, all the measurements fit me like I was standing infront of their eyes and settled super correctly on each part of my skin.

Dress event: Brother's Wedding
Production time: 46 days (Got to me much faster than that)
Shipping: 3 days very reliable got it before the event all the way from HONG KONG

My dress turned out beyond what I expected. I was nervous at first, but it was so worth it. They really understood what I wanted. They also rushed the shipping so it would get here in time even when I did not pay for rush shipping. They are very kind and creative. The fabric my dress was made of was so high quality. I am so pleased with my experience with this company.

So in love with the dress that Luna's helped me to design it and make it for me. It fit like a glove. The process was fast and the quality really good. I highly recommend lunss

Please do not trust this company! I bought a custom dress for my wedding only to find out to my absolute horror that the dress was unlined, therefore unfinished, when I received it. It was virtually see through. I could not wear this dress to my wedding. This is after weeks of asking for them to refine the dress, add the details I've already asked for and fix terribly uneven pleats. Once I contacted them, they offered to send me a tube top bra (would not work because my dress had an deep v), or told me to mail it back (at my cost) and they would fix it (less than a month before my wedding), or they would make me another dress at 80% the cost (over $200). Needless to say I could not use any of those options and ended up only getting a 20% refund. Now, 10 days before my wedding I was out over $200 and had no wedding dress. They then continued to argue with me that I should've figured out from their pictures on a white mannequin that there was no lining, and they didn't list out they lined it so I should've caught that. Even though she told me in the beginning phases she would line the bodice. After, she proceeded to tell me tho reason the dress in the picture I sent looked so good and was opaque was because of photo shop. I bought the original dress I sent over in photos to base my design on and it was EXPONENTIALLY better quality, bodice and skirt were fully lined, and it was less than $100 more than the custom dress.

Loved this dress, made me stand out at my event and made me feel beautiful. Would come back to Lunss to shop for another event as it was affordable, the delivery was great and came on time and it fitted perfectly with my body. 5/5

My Daughter received so many compliments about this dress. I uploaded the pictures to Facebook and everyone loved the dress. It is so beautiful and sparkly in person. She was worried about it being itchy with all the sequins and it was not a bit itchy! There was 2 separate linings inside all the way from top to bottom. She said it was so comfortable!
She found the dress of her dreams in a store, but it was too big at the top, too long, the belt was messed up without a way to latch and the beading was coming loose at the neckline. They only had one in but she loved it! It was priced at $399.00, then by the time that we would have had the alterations completed it would have been another $100 at least. We had the same exact dress, custom made by LUNSS, to her exact measurements, for about half the price. Nancy was so nice and patient and answered all my questions and concerns.
This is the 3rd Prom Dress that I have had made by LUNSS. The first 2 Tansy was my designer and this time we had Nancy and both were a pleasure to work with.
A couple of suggestions:
1. Start early! If your Prom is in March or April, start in December or January with your customization! This year I was worried because I didn't realize the Prom would be on March 9th, it was usually in mid April. We started the customization on February 5th and received the Dress on March 7th. We paid extra for Express Delivery, but it was so worth it!
2. Do not just order the size you normally wear, ALWAYS CUSTOMIZE! You will be much happier with your dress and will not have to have it altered at all. It will fit like a glove straight out of the package. There are not many people in the world that have the same size at the top as you do at the bottom.
3. Please either have someone professional do your measurements correctly or look at the size guide with description and pictures of where exactly to measure and have someone else measure you! Do not try to measure yourself, your measurements will be wrong and you will not be happy with your dress!
4. Always have the built in bra added!:-)

Site Jabber user Lesly M. Had requested a review of this site. So I decided to investigate. Here is what I found.

Lunss appears to be fully legit. I have seen plenty of users who loved their dresses bought from Lunss. They offer a variety of payment options, and also have a customer service line that is easily accessible. Their trustpilot score is 7.1/10 (one unhappy customer can be seen complaining that the dress was too small while the other reviewers gave 5 stars). Even a reddit user has shown pictures of her wearing her dress and how excited she was.
The prices also don't look "too good to be true". They are within reason. They do take a while to ship. Even if you pay an extra $70 or so to rush it, it will still take nearly 3 weeks to arrive at your location. So if you're going to order it, make sure your prom/wedding/pageant/etc is at least 8-10 weeks from now. Don't wait until the event is like 2 weeks from now before you buy from here. It will take almost a month before it even gets to you. But that's because each product is apparently handmade. They need time to make your item and also process it and make sure it's ready just the way you want it. So it is extremely important to be careful with timing!

Poor customer service

So I ordered a dress to be a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding. The wedding is in March, so I ordered in November. The dress arrived thanksgiving day, but it arrived with no packing slip and none of the tags said anything other than the store's name.

As soon as I got the package open I tried it on but it wouldn't zip up. And it wasn't just a little too small, I had 7 inches of gap in the back. There was no way I was going to get this dress to zip or to get a tailor to make it wearable. They would need to add a whole panel of fabric to it and after everything, color matching and all that it would never look right.

I let my mother try on the dress, just in case I was going a bit crazy. I wear and ordered a size 14, my mother is a size 8/ the dress was tight on her, but it zipped.

So I emailed about getting the next size up, very nicely that hey, I think the wrong dress came to me, (because even the color didn't match the bride's swatch that she had gotten about a month ago) but all I got back was that yes, they had sent the right dress and to please send them photos of my measurements to verify the mistakes with the dress.

So I did, in my bra and panties I stood in my bathroom and took close up photos of the measuring tape, twisting the tape a bit to get a straight on photo of the numbers...

The email I got back was that I wasn't measuring in the right spot and I needed to get the measurements done by a seamstress. So once again I headed to the bathroom, in a full length mirror, taking almost naked photos of myself measuring myself and being careful not to move the tape for the photos, I send what some countries would call porn to a dress maker over the internet. ( mind you the dress is still the wrong color)

I am worried I may have to buy a whole new dress, still in the wrong color and even if I do, the dress will also come and be the wrong size. If that's the case I will be out over $300 for clothes I can't even wear. This dress was not customized, I ordered a size 14, just a size 14, no additions, no alterations... nothing. So why is it so hard to get the dress sent back and get a different one?

You measured in wrong way at beginning, we can't tell if we made the dress wrong. From the precise measurements you provided later, we checked that you chose wrong size for yourself. Your body waistline and hipline are much bigger than the ones in our standard size US 14. If you chose US 14, for sure you can't wear this dress. Please do double check on this.

You are shown confirmation photos before your custom dress is shipped but be warned that the photos I was shown were VERY different from the original design and incredibly misleading.

I was not told what dramatic deviations from the original design would be made AT ALL. The changes were only apparent after the order was accepted and the dress was already completed. By this point I could only receive a 40% refund. This leads me to believe they are happy to accept and shoddily attempt any custom design regardless of what they are actually capable of.

The changes and functional issues were not obvious until the dress was delivered and tried on. The dress itself was too large and made to fit a generic mannequin, despite the measurements they requested/I sent in. The material is a cheap stretch fabric. The sleeves were an entirely different design that was nothing like that of the inspiration dress. The skirt of the dress moves and collects incredibly awkwardly (it looks like I'm smuggling a deflated bike tire in the hem of the skirt). When the dress is worn, within just a few minutes of walking, the top stretches, rolls, and pulls down exposing the top half of my body.

These issues were not obvious from a posed photo on a still mannequin and make the dress completely non-functional as a dress.

If you have another option DO NOT DO BUSINESS *******@lunss_couture if you have another option dont use it. I ordered my daughters prom dress almost 2 months ago and paid for rush. I emailed every other day to make sure it would be ready by her senior prom April 5. They assured me it would be. They emailed us yesterday said it was ready and sent a pic confirmation. We got an email this morning stating it was a different customers dress, that the fabric was not in and they were still waiting for it, it would not be ready for another week. Her prom is next Friday. Had they been honest and told us 3 weeks ago we could have had another option, they didnt. My daughters senior prom is in 9 days and as of right now she has NO DRESS
