“Great Protection”

Keep in mind this is not an Anti-Virus software, it's software that fills the gaps in AV software that malware is made to exploit. I have had a lot of success using MalwareBytes in combination with Windows Defender on Windows 10, It's highly customization as far as how many resources you want to devote to it's active protection. It's a bit pricey but it's the best out there.

Their customer service is the worst I ever dealt with. They have automatic billing and they billed me for a computer I haven't used for two years. Their customer service is through a company the charges you to have your account credited and they want your credit card number and $1 before they do anything. If I wouldn't have reviewed my bank account I would have not known they were changing me. That is what happed last year.

Just had to download it to my computer. They automatically charge your account when they renew the software. I have two problems I haven't used the computer for two years and I did not approve them to charge my account without me knowing it. They claim they have refunds been the make it impossible to do so.

They won't answer you the only time you see them is when they take your money, other than that they won't answer your question or fix any problem you have. Its like you don't have anything

Customer service is the worst.
I was automatically billed for two devices for two years by Malwarebytes on January 8,2022. This was a correct billing. Then, I was automatically billed for three devices for one year by a vendor called 2CO.COM*Malwarebytes on March 18,2022. 1. I had already paid in January and 2, this was not my plan. I had to pay a fee to "Justanswer" to even lodge a complaint with 2CO.COM. When I filed a complaint, I was told to take it up with Malwarebytes or the credit card company. There is no way to speak to a live person at Malwarebytes. I had to file three on-line claims to Malwarebytes before I finally got the response. All in all, it took over two weeks after my first complaint to get a refund. I would ditch Malwarebytes were it not for the fact that I really like the product.

I had to uninstall Malwarebytes today when I needed to perform a System Restore on Windows 7 on my laptop. I needed to roll-back because Malwarebytes after freezing when asked to perform a scan now does not respond at all. Support at Malwarebytes issued me a ticket number SIX DAYS ago and I've since heard nothing more from them, in spite of telling them I could not carry out any scans. I managed to perform System Restore today after uninstalling Malwarebytes. The Restore Point files from earlier date are showing Malwarebytes as an installed program but, when I requested Uninstall, my computer system told me that Anti-Malware/unins000 is MISSING. I can't even clear the corpse off my computer. DON'T PAY FOR UPGRADES OF THIS SOFTWARE -- IT IS NOW VULNERABLE TO CORRUPTION BY SOPHISTICATED ATTACKERS. It appears to me that the support team of the company is currently at sea unable to bring about a resolution of the problem.

07/31/17 - When I had problems moving files around, I checked and found MB had locked up 28,345 files on my computer, including 10,000 locks on one file alone! I found other users complaining since 06/20/17 on their forum. When are they going to do something about this?

You can temporarily fix the problem for yourself like this:
Net stop MBAMService
Net start MBAMService

I not only saw the spurious locking on my Win 7 machine, but also on my wife's Win 10 machine. There are numerous others that have been complaining about this problem since June 20,2017: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/*******-mbam-keeps-locking-visual-studio-compiled-executable-preventing-subsequent-rebuild-and-debug/

Now it is Aug 22,2017 and they still have not done anything. No wonder I see so many negative reviews on the Internet.
