I had ordered pre-addresses holiday cards, sent them out, but didn't write down a list of which recipients I had sent to. I forgot if I had sent a card to a certain contact, and wanted a list of which recipients I had included in my order. I couldn't find the info in my minted account online, so I initiated a chat with their customer service. Minted customer service was able to quickly send me the entire list of names and addresses I had included in my previous order. Problem solved! Great customer service is unfortunately rare in this day and age, but Minted's was truly exceptional!

Card quality/Picture quality is awful and can see through the paper to the other side. On the first go around, I resubmitted proofs again and again due to grammatical errors of their "proofers" (who goofed up grammar that was correct to begin with.) Redesigned and reordered the card with rush overnight shipping. It arrived two days late with NONE of the preaddressed envelopes I paid for yet someone else's Cmas cards included in my package. I can't reach anyone on "chat" on their website to correct this. Now I get to spend my time trying to find envelopes that fit so I can mail in time for card to arrive before CMAS. Will never order from this company again and will cancel my "Minted" Membership.

Minted's custom work is nominal, lacks creativity, direction and takes FOREVER! It took weeks to get them to do an average job on a shower invite I created that went out of stock two days later. They did an awful job on recreating it. I had intended to do my daughter's wedding invitation with them as well but NO WAY! Their customer service and art staff are not well trained which resulted in an average layout and poor font selection even though they had access to my original layout. SO strange. Do not print anything custom or meaningful with minted. While Christmas cards are a no brainer, do not trust them with anything that is special to you.

Ordered Christmas cards in early December. On December 19th I check tracking. Label was created on December 9th with delivery with Fed Ex. Emailed customer service and said they would look into it. No phone call or email until the next day when I send another email. Was told they are sorry and understand the inconvenience. They offered to send new order. Really, it is now December 20th with no cards. I have used Minted before and was pleased with quality and service. This is not the same company and service. Extremely disappointed. They refunded the entire amount, but still not okay. I will use another vendor for my next purchase of anything personalized. Unfortunate because my daughter is getting married in 2024. Minted lost a customer forever,

Paid $350 for 50 Christmas cards solely because they promised me a date when I could get them out before Christmas. Their a week late, its 12/14 and they cant give me a concrete date when they will send my Christmas cards. HORRIFIC customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want to send Christmas cards before Christmas! I wouldnt trust this company to send any card/invite out before the actual event.

If you have an issue hope you have at least 30 minutes. To deal with their customer service. They are slow and terrible. They did two prints of my holiday cards and they were both messed up. The second being worse. Would not recommend them at all. I still can't get over how bad the customer service is.

For a personalized card business, this company has automated their system so much that it feels like an impossibility to correct items on the proof, and have the cards delivered to me. I am on the 3rd proof. It has been taking 2 days to correct each proof. So this is now the 6th day since I put in my order and there is no end in sight. I called and spoke to a real person to escalate the concern. The person is disconnected to the actual designer fixing the issue and cannot fix the issue themselves. I ask to speak to a supervisor or owner of the firm as this is a small business. They put me on hold then hung up. I called back and I was hung up on, again. I am on the verge of canceling this order.

Tip for consumers:
I am a repeat customer of Minted and very surprised at the chaos experience this year.
Other businesses offering the similar services are more personal, and one can actually solve a problem with a phone call. Minted seems bureaucratic and out of control.

This is an updated review based on the Minted team's responsiveness to our concern about advertising that appeared on our wedding website's RSVP confirmation screen. Originally, when guests RSVP'd, the confirmation included a large ad for "Minted's gift recommendations." We do not mind Minted branding appearing in the footer of the site and on the printed invitations, but we felt this product placement was inappropriate and confusing as it looked like part of our gift registry. When we realized this, we immediately asked Minted to remove the advertisement. At first, they said they could not do anything about it, but they continued to work the issue (over the weekend) and let us know they were finally able to manually remove it.

We appreciate the extra effort the Minted team made to resolve the situation to our satisfaction and would recommend them to anyone considering using their wedding website.

In our original review, we said that our experience with Minted's wedding invitations was positive overall. The design and customer service teams were easy to work with and the quality of the final product is very good for the price.

Tip for consumers:
It would have been helpful to understand the extent to which Minted would be placing their advertising on our wedding website.

I have used Minted for years and did not have a bad experience until this year. I placed my holiday card order on 12.3 with a delivery date of 12.4. The status was not advancing as of 12.13, but I saw a message stating shipping was updated to a quicker delivery option to deliver as close to the original delivery date. However I did not have any idea on the new delivery date. I called customer service, which took 30 min, but received no information. They couldn't tell me if it was in production, when it would be in production, when was it expected to be delivered or what was causing the delay. However they assured me it would be ok. The next morning I checked the order via minted's site and it now has a delivery date of 12.19! I received no email advising of a delay. Terrible service, and this is the first time I have seen it take so long to fulfill an order. Clearly operational issues that are impacting customers negatively.

As I write this I'm on the phone again with Minted. My order was messed up by them and while the CS rep said she would expedite the order there were 3 items missing when they arrived. Their website is great looking but not too functional. The reps are very nice but have little authority to do anything. I've been trying to get my wedding invitations out for more than 3 weeks and I initially ordered them in March.having paid over $1000 for them. I'm so frustrated and disgusted with this company. DON"T USE THEM - WASTE OF TIME>.

I have never been so disappointed in a company. Absolutely horrific customer service. I ordered from Canada and on the invoice they mistakenly put that I had ordered about triple of what I had actually ordered. This resulted in massive customs fees. I normally pay around $25, this time it was about $135. I reached out to customer service and then began a back and forth of emails which has resulted in nothing. No resolution. There are so many great card companies out there, don't waste your time or money with this company.

I made the mistake of ordering business holiday cards from Minted. It was a disaster at every level, culminating in the cards arriving too late to be distributed to our clients and employees. Through multiple chats, long phone calls (hold times of 20+ minutes) etc, they lied throughout the process. Every day, they just moved the delivery date by a day and offered me discounts. I am disputing the entire charge to my credit card company. An horrendous experience. Buyer beware!

After receiving a flawed order missing a significant # of cards, we attempted to work with customer service to correct the problem. This was incredibly time consuming and frustrating but we were eventually told that a corrected order would be on its way. We ended up receiving a beat up box with a few blank cards leaving us with just wasted money and time. And no Christmas cards to send out. This company is terrible. Do not use.

I initially found out about minted from my friend who got her wedding invitations from minted. I have then used them for my moms 60s birthday and they really were well done and easy to order.

Worst customer service. First time customer. My coupons wouldn't work, but I ordered anyway. Missing an item from my package. Customer service rep told me I'd have it in less than a week. It's been over a week and nothing. Contact them today and they say I just need to continue waiting. No apologies, not offered anything for the inconvenience. Just waiting. Will never order from here again.

Don't waste your time like I did mine. I ordered 250 biz holiday cards November 29. To be received 12/8. After 9 hours of phone calls and chats and emails I was promised 10 times they would be delivered. Overnighted at no additional charge. The date kept changing. Finally got an email 12/15 saying I may want to make it a New Years card as it would likely be next year I received the cards. It cost me and my business time and money. Worst print company I've ever dealt with. And I'm not alone. Look on Facebook and you'll say hundreds of others with the same experience.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use Minted. They are a waste of time, money and trust. Worst print company I’ve used in 30 years

Ordered 500 cards. Sent 467 addresses for the envelopes. Not enough cards. Did not get 500 envelopes (rest should have been blank at least send me my envelopes). Additionally, ordered for extra $10 25 envelopes for mistakes and was not included. So I cannot finish my cards and any mistake ones cannot address with a blank one by hand. Also, MISSING cards! I bought exactly 500 stamps to keep up with this and not only missing envelopes but CARDS! Since very thick cards, no way doubled up in ones already done. That quality is a plus but I also paid FOUR TIMES more than my usual 500 cards but was willing to do so. I was NOT expecting having too little cards! Now I will be LATE as already December 7th and many go overseas. Looks good but wish I had read reviews. No more.

I will not be ordering from Minted again in the future. My fiancé and I ordered our wedding invitations from this site, the box we received was damaged with invitations that didn't look remotely like what we had ordered online. We were dissatisfied with how they looked, requested a refund and ordered from a different company. I received an email saying we would be refunded the full amount, followed by a confusing email saying a replacement order had been shipped. We did not ask for a replacement order. After realizing we have not received a refund, we have been back and forth with customer service about the issue. They made me send them a screenshot of the email saying I would get a refund, which I did. Once I sent that, they told me that that email went out because of a technical error on their end and that they would not be sending refunds. By the way, this is after my request has been passed between three customer service agents now, so every time I get an emailed response it is from a new person. I am HIGHLY DISSATISFIED with this service and will not be ordering from them again.

I have been using Minted for cards and invitations for nearly 10 years. My most recent experience ordering First Communion invitations for my daughter has damaged my trust and will likely cause me not to order from them again. I ordered my product 12 days ago and it is still in production. I paid extra for rush shipment to have it delivered, what should have been, one week ago. Seems the customer service team is having a hard time getting answers from production and they are telling me I'll have my order in 3 days, two full weeks after ordering RUSH delivery, putting me in a position of mailing invites in a delayed timeframe. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. Caution to anyone ordering rush delivery, they will be taking their time. (They have offered a full refund, but at this point that is not helpful to my situation at all.)

This was my first time ordering from Minted, the quality of your card stock was very nice, however I am very disappointed about the quality of the printed photos, they are very dark and very blurry. While creating my card this was not the case. Why would the color change drastically like this? I also had a shadow box made for my daughter and now the card inside looks terrible. What can you do about this?

NOTHING was done, not a replacement, not even a response to my email.

Unfortunately I was in a pinch for time for the party and needed to send out the invites. Had I not been in a pinch I would have returned EVERYTHING.

Again, this is very disappointing for a happy exciting moment in our lives to share and celebrate with family and friends.

I do understand that businesses are facing unprecedented experiences through COVID-- however when I placed the order in late November, there was no indication at all of any delays. My order of 120 holiday cards was to be delivered on 12/6. I keep checking back and continue to get different (later) dates for them to arrive. They now will not be shipped out for the holidays. There has been no apology, no updates, just when I check online do I see that the order is delayed. I have called and waited for a half hour to speak to someone with no success. Again, understand everyone is dealing with things, but this is their entire business. They need to better communicate and be up front about these things.

I placed an order for holiday cards with a rush charge for early delivery by Dec 14. I still have not received the cards *Dec 18) and have been unable to reach customer service. Long wait times by phone. (I gave up at 20 minutes.) And the "contact us" button on the website simply doesn't function. Very disappointing, not to mention expensive waste of time.

Designed and ordered my family's Christmas photo cards. Then received a discount code (AFTER ordering). Cancelled order then reordered to add 20% discount code. Design was saved and reused, BUT cards arrived with the default template family name instead of my personalized family name (everything else saved correctly). Tried to resolve with customer service chat. (Are these bots or real people? So frustrating!). Was told I could reorder with rush shipping. When asked if I would have to pay for the new order and rush shipping, I was told my concern would be "escalated to a supervisor" who never contacted me - the chat suddenly ended. Created new customer service chat to ask for a refund, but couldn't get in touch with a real person. I'm out $300 and have no Christmas cards to send out this year. For extra measure, the package arrived so damaged that the box was almost cut in half! Wasted a ton of time and money that I don't have! Will never use minted again.

I upload artwork on several print on demand websites, as well as just regular online galleries. Uploading my profile picture, creating a bio, adding personal links, and most of all uploading my artwork, has never been more of a frustrating and somehow boring mystery than on Minted. I just see a useless Saved Designs page, with nowhere to upload a design. That's literally how every other print on demand website functions. As well as having the upload button almost everywhere. No, I am not technologically challenged and I won't even bother listing my credentials proving that yes, I know how to use the internet. I literally have 4 print on demand websites as well as my own website that I set up in minutes and I also update them with artwork in seconds. I literally cannot even find the upload button on here! Not anywhere! And the only upload button I do see shows up inconsistently with no rhyme or reason for select items apparently and it's just to test what the artwork would look like which doesn't solve the problem at all so don't say that it does. Now if it does solve the problem, I'm so fed up that I won't even continue bothering because at that rate it will be New Years by the time I upload and edit everything satisfactorily. However the sampler is pathetic, my artwork looks ugly on everything lol and no it's not ugly, I uploaded the simplest design I have (an autumnal paisley pattern) that is so foolproof and looks top notch on everything (it's a floral and swirl print made for print on demand, people) and the sampler just glitched everything and placed it on items randomly and I don't see where to edit to make sure it doesn't look like this on the final product. Even if the edit page exists, it's so ridiculously obscure to find (I'm being serious). But even if the sampler worked perfectly, it still doesn't solve where to actually upload and edit artwork regularly and properly. No wonder so much of the artwork on Minted is so bare bones and simple and cliche and uninspiring, because Minted's company is cheap, lacking, lazy, selfish, archaic, up their own you know whats, that they don't get staff to print actual artwork. Just watercolor pastel nothingness and cursive and I think I even saw in a demo someone literally drawing the designs on merchandise BY HAND. Also the only way after uploading for artists to get featured on Minted is if it's approved, apparently, whatever that means. But I haven't even got that far to cuss them out for insulting artwork since I can't even upload it! What a nightmare. And they didn't even ask for verification. It's almost like they don't give a deuce about artists by sending them on a quest to be artists. Which means there's a drought of professionals making anything decent for customers. And that the only people succeeding on Minted must be an oligarchy of sorority sisters who like the same thing and only help each other, or are cat lady spinsters who have the time to finagle with this foolishness. Over it.
