They defraud people of their hard earned money and leave one in debt. Glad I came across a company who helped me get back my money.

Tip for consumers:
Blackkeiser.com was the company that helped me get back my fund

mtgox.com is the largest and best bitcoin exchange. Soon you'll be able to buy all sorts of currencies here. Welcome to the future. Also merchants can sign up to take bitcoins as payment.

If I could give this zero stars I would!
The websight allows you to deposit your bitcoins without your account being verified but as soon as you try to withdraw them you now need to be verified. This is a complete SCAM. Luckily I only sent in. 1 btc and not all of mine.
Now they have disabled my login my btc is gone...
DO NOT USE THEM!

Scamming and using their reputation to do it. Sent a bank wire 13 days ago, and have sent 3 support request forms without a single response. My money is gone. Beware, scammers dont get more deceiving and money hungry then this!

They say that withdrawals are being processed manually and take more than 4 weeks!
From the comments on this site, it seems they take even longer.

I am thinking about buying back with my funds and transferring them to a more reputable organization.

Ans they call themselves the state of the art trading platform What a bunch of BS!

How does this company not have more complaints? Yes they filed for bankruptcy but they are responsible for one of the biggest companies losses against direct customers in the last year. People committed suicide because of this company.

Stay away from them. They will take your BTC and you will never get them back.

They don't communicate (once they have your coins or money), and they don't do withdrawals. They use their former reputation as a honeypot to suck in Bitcoins and funds, but you won't get anything back. Ever. Stay clear.

I sent them US$1,000 two weeks ago via wire transfer and the money doesn't show up in my mtgox's account. I opened a ticket with them 48 hrs ago and they haven't even assigned to anyone. I can't wait for the money to be credited to withdraw it asap.

I had 2.8 bit coins in my mtgox account and last night I received an email telling me that my account had a withdrawal. The email told me to email back if the transaction was unauthorized. I emailed them back right away confirming that the withdrawal was not authorized. They emailed me back the next morning saying it was too late to stop the transaction it had already been processed to an IP address in France. There is nothing we can do about it. Please report the incident to your local police. They handle these transactions and had allowed this to happen and took no responsibility at all.

I had a lot of trouble getting my money out of mtgox.

The problem with mtgox is they manipulate the prices. Their prices for bitcoins are always higher. They also ban comparsion sites like cheap bitcoins (http://cheapbitcoins.co.uk) from showing their prices against others.

It's a real shame, mtgox is a shadow of what it once was. Now it feels like it's dying a slow horrible death.

Mt. Gox is fine for a one-off bitcoin transaction, but they're getting sued. Can you trust them to be around? http://venturebeat.com/2013/05/03/coinlab-sues-mt-gox-for-75m/

This seems like a decent site if you are interested in the whole bitcoin concept. It is basically a world wide online currency. Banks are not involved. I am not a fan. I have experienced buying things online, and not receiving my order. I have found pay pal questionable, and I only use my wells fargo card. They will get my money back if the online purchase is not legit. The whole bitcoin concept concerns me.

Mtgox.com is one of the leading bitcoin exchanges (although it's impossible to really know which is the largest I think). It's not a scam but it's definitely in a dodgy space. I wouldn't buy bitcoins unless I wanted to lose my money. They recently stopped trading in a "market cool down" because prices were dropping so quickly. The trouble is none of this is regulated in anyway so they can pretty much do whatever they feel like.
