This odor is so potent that it renders the furniture unusable, contaminating clothing and causing physical discomfort. **Manufacturer's Defect:** The issue is clearly a manufacturing defect, as the exterior was undamaged. The defect only became apparent when the drawers were opened, after the delivery team had left. **Efforts for Resolution:** I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue with Bob's Furniture. Bobs discount furniture is a bad deceitfully company I purchased over 11,000.00 furniture in 2022 new leather couch love seat and recliner they did not last two years before they started peeling I was informed by Bobs sales team to take the guardian warranty plan that was 100% for any type of damage any after less than two years the warranty was denied I contacted Bobs only to be informed they don't deal with the warranty company totally disrespecting dishonest people look at the photos after left than two years

My husband and I bought an almost $4,800 bedroom set. Looked good in the showroom, however is not the quality we expected. The delivery person's put scratches and gouges in the top of the dresser, bed slats on crooked, stripped screws on slats and drawer track, put the the side bed rails with drawers on the wrong side of the bed, and the wood frame on the mirror had some type of overspray on it. They finally came to deliver a new dresser, mirror, and fix the bed. However, an employee broke/cracked a leg and bottom wood of the new dresser and we were sent new side bed rails instead of a new drawer track. The new mattress was left in the parking lot and luckily it was covered in plastic because a cat sprayed on it. Not to mention after the first delivery, had to wait weeks for a technician to come out and look at it then wait longer for a delivery that is now put off again. And this is their white glove delivery! We will never buy from them again. People expect new furniture not damaged! I would highly suggest looking over all the furniture before they bring it in the house because once they bring it in your home they try not to replace it if it's damaged. My husband told them he was not accepting the dresser and wanted it replaced. It's ridiculous that customers need to supervise employees. We we're offered a mere $100 off of our bill. Hopefully, when the next new dresser comes this will be our last incident.

This has got to be one of the most dishonest companies I have ever dealt with in my life. Web support is dishonest and gives you the runaround. Will make assumptions based on one photo without requesting more information. They sold me a coffee table they knew had issues and just wanted to dump inventory instead of returning the merchandise to the merchant they purchased it from.

On May 16,2023, we had a dresser delivered to our house. The crew outside dumped an old mattress on the street, next to a tree across from our house. My neighbors saw them and called me but the truck had already left. I spent 25 minutes trying to get ahold of the dispatch. I called customer service. I'm now told the earlier they can pick it up is May 19th. Worse, the crew denied it. These people should be fired for dumping mattresses. Now, I am responsible if we get a fine from City.

In the past five years, I've purchased a bed set with a vanity, chest, and a mattress. I've also purchased a sofa set for my living room from Bob's. This year, I am officially DONE with them. I purchased a sofa and a love seat set from them in January 2021. By June 2021, the "leather" material started deteriorating. I reached out to them by phone, in person, and filed a claim through Guardian. What a joke! I wasted money and time making this purchase. On top of spending $2600 on the set, I also made a mistake of purchasing their 5-year nonsense warranty.

They started making their own rules that suited them to not cover the following issues with the living room set:

-The material started peeling within six months. Which isn't covered in the plan at all.
-The wood of the recliner broke. They did not cover that.
-The electrical part of the recliner broke. -They did not fix that.
-The hinges of the storage part broke. They didn't cover that as well.

Recently they sent me an email that this was their final decision. None of this was a regular wear and tear. This was all just made up from low quality material. I've purchased furniture 15 years ago that I still have and it is no where close to the condition of bob's furniture. I am highly disappointed with Bob's customer service, they refuse to understand the issue and just turn down any complaints the customer has.

We bought a high-top table in September 2023 with a $149 warranty package; after six months, we contacted Bo's Discount Furniture Customer Service regarding the top of the table fading/discoloring; after two attempts, and did not show up for a scheduled appointment, the technician finally came to the house, took three pictures, and left in less than 2 minutes, without giving me a feedback of what is the next step. After two weeks, I contacted customer service, and the rep started reading a company script without reviewing our account to see if we had purchased the warranty. After several attempts to contact a manager on the phone, he finally realized we had bought the $149 warranty. He referred me to file a claim with Guardian Protection Products Inc. After filing a claim with Guardian, the pictures, below are Guardian Protection Respond. Ticket ******* " We are providing you with the terms and conditons for your 5-Year E1PB-******* Guardian Residental Furniture Plan you purchased from BOB'S DISCOUNT FURNITURE for $149.99. Your plan was actvated on 2023-09-29, will expire on 2028-09-29, and will provide up to $1299.02 in coverage for your new furniture. The furniture items that are covered under this Plan are those listed on the receipt you received at thetme of purchase of this Plan. Your Plan is atached to this leter. Please read it carefully as it provides the specific details of your coverage. In the event a covered stain or damage occurs, please report the incident to Guardian within 30 days using the toll-free customer service number found on your Plan. While you don't need to know your Plan registration number to file a service request, having the following items handy will help expedite the service request process: a copy of your Plan documents, your itemized receipt, photos of the affected area(s), details on what caused the damage – including when the damage occurred. Under the terms of your Plan, Guardian may provide professional cleaning or repair services through our nationwide network of skilled third-party technicians. You are not even worthy of a review. *******'s across the board. Oh sir purchase the goof insurance for a guarantee that our furniture will not last 3 years and they will cover it. B.S 10 times over. All liars and scams and $#*!ty furniture. I can verify my purchase date and time but why? End of the day Bibs furniture is a dog and pony show with no way to hold up to their end of the bargain. I will share my experiences with every single person who will listen.

Very poor customer service. The store manager and customer service do not even return your calls. I purchased a desk and chair with delivery and white glove service from Bob's Discount Furniture on 9/10/23. They were supposed to deliver the desk and chair to my home and put the furniture together for $40 white glove service and $70 delivery. 1st attempt they only delivered the chair ( which had 3 parts to be assembled), the desk was out of stock. 2nd attempt the desk was brought to my home, unpacked and they found out that they had no hardware to assemble the desk with. Twice I had made arrangements to be home for the delivery window time frames and I was totally disappointed with the service so I cancelled the desk. They promised to deliver the items and assemble them together, and that did not happen. Bob's credited me for the price of the desk only. Customer service said that I had something delivered to my home so I had to pay the $70 even though they did not hold up their end of the transaction. I called the Southington store and asked to have the manager call me. Three days no call back. I went back to the store so that I could speak to the manager and explain the situation. She said she would reach out to corporate to try to have the extra charges removed. At this point I only wanted to pay for the chair plus tax since it would be easier to just keep the chair rather than go through a return process. She never called me back but I did receive a credit for the $40 white glove service. I called the manager to ask about the $70 refund for the delivery which was not completed as promised. She has not returned my call and they have not refunded the $70 for the delivery fee. I chose the chair to go along with the desk. I expected to have the items delivered as promised. I was told that with Bob's white glove delivery service and goof proof protection plan I was totally covered and would have a seamless delivery experience. I purchased a mattress at Bedding Barn in Southington that same weekend. I did not have to pay for delivery or white glove service only for the removal of the old mattress. They delivered on the promised day. The Bedding Barn store associates called me to see if I had any questions, the day before the mattress was delivered. The Bedding Barn store called after the delivery to be assured that everything was up to my expectations. Bob's Discount Furniture can't even return your call when you have a problem. In summation "Don't waste your money at Bob's Discount Furniture". There are many retailers that will appreciate your business and keep their promises. The chair cost $149 and I am paying an additional $70 for the delivery of that one item which was supposed to be part of a set. A chair for $149 has cost me $219 plus several hours of my time and frustration at Bob's Discount Furniture service.

Bob's does not care. I called the manager several times, called customer service and emailed my dissatisfaction on a Bob's Survey. No one has returned my call.

I've got no problem with the furniture. The prob is their payment program. They encourage you to pay it off in 120 days. If you're 2 days over, with basically a couple hundred bucks left you're basically paying double the original sale price at your current payments which include whatever service they are offering from acceptance now that you'll prob never use.

Bob's Discount Furniture is not a discount store, they're expensive. I purchased a love seat sofa from Bob's Discount Furniture & it's of very low quality & I paid $400 on sale. The sofa is only a few month old & the cushions went flat, the material has fuzz on it & is now very uncomfortable to sit on. I purchased boards to put under the cushions & it's still uncomfortable. Due to the cushions being flat, it's hard to get up. The pillows that came with the sofa are just as cheap. They are flat & uncomfortable. I do not recommend this company to buy furniture.

Horribly made furniture. Ordered some kitchen chairs and on one chair the leg was shorter than the others so it rocks. Another one had home that weren't aligned properly when putting together so I had to rig it and drill some nails in it to hold together. First and last time I'll buy from Bob's.

I purchased a sofa 4 months ago, and its completely caved in and unusable. The agents made 2 appointments and did not show. Finally the agent today said its normal wear and not replaceable.! It;s 4 months old. He told me to take it have it reupholstered, and refused to replace or refund... Their corporate office is unresponsive and I am filing a small claims court... I cant even afford a replacement...
They are reprehensible and should be fined for their practices.

My new leather couches were delivered. They brought the wrong end and the chase is caving in on one side. They came back to exchange and brought the wrong peace again. I bought the couches in June it's now September and they still didn't bring the correct pieces. I keep talking to multiple ppl on the chat and they just keep giving me the run around. This is the third time they come to my house and didn't bring the new pieces for the exchange. I'm so done! Worst mistake I've ever made is buying from them …..

Purchased 5 counter stools. Two of them came damaged. Customer service offered to send me two replacement chairs and then said "oops, we cant do that". Purchased a TV stand in 2019! One of the draws broke. They said they would send me a new drawer, it got lost in shipment. Sending me another shipment ended up being wrong draw. Third time waited 2 yrs for a new drawer they all to tell me nonlonger manufacturer that piece anymore. They give me a credit. Purchased some new items for them to call me next day stating they want my TV stand back oh hell no. Never purchasing from them again.

I bought my recliner set from Bob's Furniture almost two years ago. The furniture started peeling right away. I contacted them only to be told the problem is not covered under the warranty. They came out to service the furniture for a $75 fee. The furniture continued to peel. Unfortunately I had to trash the furniture because it was too messy to sit on. Total waste of money. Spent almost $3000 for the set. I should have went somewhere else.

Go elsewhere. Do not buy from Bob’s Furniture!

Do not buy goof proof from bobs gurdwara does not honor what it says when you buy it they turned my caim down for a broken zipper and the stuffing is coming out I was told it wasn't covered on the plan I purchased which I thought there was only one I will not ever shop at bobs again also I started the claim last October and had to keep trying for a answer the turned my claim down last week and won't fix my couch wasted 200.00 dollars guardian has all terrible reviews from better business bureau

I purchased a lift chair/recliner along with a five-year extended warranty. Within three months the leather began to discolor and wear off. Also, the electric cord leading to the handset has cracked and fully exposed the wiring. I will include photos.

After numerous phone calls with no help, or even a reply, I gave up. I would never do business with this company again.

Purchased a $4K+ bedroom set from them and it has been a nightmare so far. Original delivery had damaged pieces and wrong pieces were ordered. Mattress is incorrect, was supposed to have had the new mattress delivered today per the store manager, called customer service as it has not arrived and was told it is in stock but cannot be delivered for at least three days. Had a second dresser delivered and it looks like a two year old built it. Tech came out to look the dresser and agreed. Dresser can not make it here until March 25th. Think I am just going to have them come get the furniture and be done with it.

Bought a dresser on the 10th of October. Promised date of 10/20. After missing work to wait for the delivery, they told me another 10 days. Six days later, I called because we received tracking to the wrong address. They cancelled my order and told me to buy it again. Customer service is virtually non-existent, they outsource it to a call center that can't help you. Avoid them like the plague if you want to receive the furniture you purchased. This review wants photos, so here's a picture of what 16 days, missed work, and 2 hours of phone calls got me with Bobs:

I wish I had read some of these reviews prior to doing business with this business. They have horrible customer service. They began to block my phone calls. They deliver damaged furniture but refuse to put it back on the truck to take back. Second delivery damaged furniture again. I am DONE!
I would advise anyone who might think about making any purchase from them to run…. They are the worst.
