“I, unfortunately, already "clicked the button" when...”

Sheri-Saloff Z.

I, unfortunately, already "clicked the button" when I read Ms. Caveate. No troubles, though. I have been hacked and victim of ID theft 4 times over past 5 years and my bank (one of the big guys) is currently running an open fraud investigation on my behalf. If they try to screw me; they are in for a very unpleasant and terribly swift boot in the pants. If you have an account with a good banker, they should be willing to meet the standards set by Bank of America (still in business... quite an accomplishment in light of the shocking round of banker failings of recent past due to "El Diablo " (The now infamous global economic meltdown, and help you file a fraud complaint or at least investigate a bit on your behalf. X<;| (ARGH!) Good luck! Don't let it go! If it is a misunderstanding, OR the result of criminal acts... In either case, I would suggest that you need to be fair to yourself; act as your own advocate & get the assistance of which you are apparently in need. That advice is for any and all who have had a similar experience. I am certain that GOOGLE would be interested to hear your story. They are a respected and reputable entity; and I do not believe that they would knowingly have their corporeate ID connected to a scam.

“Why do people fall for these things?”

How many times do we read about warnings of NOT sending money out for things like this. It's good that reviews are being posted, but people should clue in. Out of the thousands and thousands of "work from home" opportunities out there, few are really legitimate. I've been working from home with one of the largest manufacturers of consumer packaged goods in the world that pays for referring people to shop with them. I don't have to stock inventory to sell, and therefore don't risk anything to lose. Those who are referred benefit too because they gain access to over 500 consumable type products at wholesale prices, so everyone wins. Information can be obtained at, www.incomegeneratorsgroup.com

I was asked to purchase a sterter kit to work at home for. 99 cents and they took the. 99 cents and another 79.95 off my card. There of course is no number to call and stop this action. It is no ones fault but my own to blame. I was really hoping that this was for real. I've never done this kinda thing before and look I got scamed. I have reported it to my card and now I have to file a fraud report with the B. B. B.

I hat this company or whatever it claims to be. I cannot get them to respond even when I said I would sue them. I wanted my subscription cancelled immediately and they just sent me a second "Welcome to myInternetTreasureChest.com message. And of course there is no way to reach them, and they sent a "no-reply" email. Bummer... have already filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office.

This is scam! I asked to view the contract and they told me the web site was under construction and they were not giving it to me. They also took money out of my banking account minutes after I canceled my account. I had to tell them I was going to report them before they agreed to put the money back in my bank account.

Not at all sure what this is, other than a scam. Fake Verisign and TrustE seals would be enough to send me away without looking any further.

Well-known logos on the home page are unconnected and meaningless. Seals which say things like "100% Guaranteed" without showing who they are guaranteed by, and providing a click-through to the guaranteeing site, are always meaningless too, and only dishonest sites display them.

I didn't go any further to find exactly what kind of scam this is, and don't intend to. And I don't need to see if I can earn $2000 a week from just filling in forms, because I already know I can't. Otherwise I'd be doing it instead of hanging around here writing reviews, wouldn' t I?

This site was to chg. 99 cents and next day My Big Bank put a temporary hold
On my account (Frand stopper at work). So I told them keep the hold on it as the
Additional money reqested was not to come out at all. The following is the info
That I could get on my own:
Main Hurricane Marketing LLC
1080 No. Main St.
Hurricane, Utah 84*******032
Principal: Devin@ *******032
This info was from the BBB and that this company is doing business under approx.
40 other names. At this time the File was opened at Jan/2010. The BBB said that
One complaint and no response from company.
The Bank will start their own investigation after three days.
Good Luck to all and I hope this will help others that come to this site Site Jabber
As it is really needed!

I signed up last week. Went through the first week of lessons, very interesting and educational. I was liking it. Then a gentleman named Jeremy Turner called to assist me, and made an appt for a phone conversation. He never kept the appointment, and now I go to log on and the site is closed, or some other term for no longer available. Help, I want my money back. Bunch of scumbags if you ask me.

www.myinternettreasurechest.com
This is unbelievable! They have made several attempts to hit my Debit card until. All totally unauthorized. I had to cancell the card and have reporting them to the Police and the BBC. From what I have been able to find out they are not based in the US nor in any one area because charges have hit my card from three different location, one of which is Cancun. I have made several attempts to inform Google but as yet been unable to get them the message that they are using them as a front. Of course I have to shoulder part of the blame because I was "Stupid" enough to hit that button to give them access to start with.

Well... I joined probably 100's of people that got duped with this and didn't realize what I was doing. I saw info packet - Home Marketing for $2.97, and it was advertised in a fake newspaper artical that looked like it was affiliated with my local TV company Channel 6. In addition, I didn't notice the fake NBC, CNN and Google logo and felt stupid afterwards when I went back on the website and put in a fake name, so I could read all the discliamers on the bottom. They say they are in no way affiliated with those news companys, but use them for their scam, and the $2.97 that I authorized turned into a 139.95 dollar charge after a 3 day trail. Then they automatically bill you for 39.99 for 3 months after. They are total scammers as the minute you authorize the 2.97, you authorize those other charges without checking a terms box or getting a reciept. Anyways, I purchased this on Friday mid morning on the 2nd of july. Later in the day I called a couple phone numbers as I came to my senses with out any luck, but I was given an e-mail address in which i got the run around. I ended up calling the phone number they give you in the disclaimer and recieved an answering machine that said thay their normal business hours were M-F 9am-9pm and that they were closed. I have phone records of those calls on my cell phone. So to make a long story short, I called this morning Monday 5th as it is technically within 72 hours. Or as they refurr to it as 3 full days, and they said I was too late and they denied my request to get out of the program within the trail and get my refund. She offered me a half price discount on the 139.99, but I didn't trust that wasn't an extra charge. They said their 3 days starts the day you buy it, even if it is over the weekend and my trail was finished Sunday. I told her I had phone records that I tried to call the number and told her about the answering machine that discussed the hours. The girl replied... we've been here all weekend - I worked all weekend she said. I said, 'then why do you have an answering machine that states the hours of operation are M-F?" She coudln't answer the question. I got right off the phone and called up my credit card - Chase told them the whole story - have credit protection and am a lifelock member. Chase called them and refunded me the 139.99 and the 39.99 and said that no other payments will be posted from them. They are watching the transactions for me. I asked the Chase banker how she got those results, and she said they get scared when the banks start calling them because I was apparently still in the three day window after chase talked to them. Lol Hope I don't have anymore problems from them, but I am watching close and now Chase knows about the situation. Hope others read this and I hope this helps someone else from loosing their hard earned cash to these loosers.
