“Misleading Production/Delivery Time”

The website for My Spa Cover (myspacover.com) states that production time is 2 to 3 weeks with 2 to six business day delivery. I ordered a spa cover and was not informed until after ordering -- and paying in full -- that it would take much longer (10 to 12 weeks) due to industry demands, holiday season, and health and safety requirements. I have been waiting over 3 months so far, and have been told that "the vinyl has been cut already and is headed for our PA facility to complete the making of the cover" (whatever that means). So, after waiting 3 months, I find out that the vinyl has been cut, and the cover might ship by the end of the month, which will mean a 4 month turnaround -- at least. Also, they did not provide this information until I inquired about when the cover would ship. They do not send order status information voluntarily. The customer has to inquire. So far I have asked twice. The first time, I was told an approximate shipping time that came and went without fulfillment. My second inquiry was answered as I quoted above. I regret ordering a very expensive hot tub cover from My Spa Cover, only to get a runaround from them.

I ordered a cover 12 weeks ago, still has not shipped! Customer service is poor! Find another company!

Contrary to the advertising by MySpaCover, its spa cover is NOT "long lasting," is NOT "high quality," and is NOT "well made." Instead, it is poorly manufactured, of poor quality, and is very poorly made. I ordered the top quality product advertised but the stitching on my spa cover failed in numerous places due to serious defects in the manufacturing process. Although advertised to last 5 years (with a five year warranty which the company refuses to honor), the spa cover I bought lasted only THREE years and several months. When I sent the company photos of the numerous defects, the manufacturer refused to provide a replacement or even a partial refund, claiming "normal wear and tear." Since this flimsy product cannot survive "normal wear and tear," you should not buy from this company, which refuses honor its warranty and makes a mockery of the public by its continued blatantly false advertising.
