“Nationwide Roofing Was Excellent”

I called Nationwide Roofing because I noticed a area in my living room ceiling that appeared to have a water leak I was directed to the Thumbtack website and they gave me a list of roofers and after reading all of the 5 star comments about Nationwide Roofing and the workers I was compelled to call them, all of the reviews that I read were accurate. I called and left a message and was immediately called back by Robert Allison who is a very personable individual he is very easy to talk to and very professional Robert explains every detail of the work that they will be doing in detail as well as give you the price it will cost to get the job done. Robert Allison came out on the same day that I called and two days later they came back out to fix the flashing on my roof, everything was done in a timely manner and everything was cleaned up very nicely. I will be using Nationwide Roofing again whenever I need to have work done on my home. I had a very pleasant experience from the first phone call to the first visit to my home and the return visit to complete the job. Robert Allison and Mike were awesome.

Been waiting 8 months now for work to commence. Appears to be a drive-by roofer. Promises anything but works off of company-favorable contracts that tie up the customer's choices and money. You can get out for a 20% penalty of the roofing job or try your luck with a lawyer. Your good sense says try some other company.

I feel compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with Nationwide General Contracting/Nationwide Exteriors to warn others about their unreliable and deceptive practices. My family and I embarked on what should have been a straightforward window replacement project one year ago (July 2022), but it has turned into an ongoing nightmare with no resolution in sight.

From the beginning, Nationwide General Contracting demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and respect for their customers. We initially contacted them in July of last year to order new windows for our entire house. Despite five visits to measure the windows (yes, FIVE) the process never progressed beyond that stage. The last measurement happened this past May 20th. On June 20th, after requesting an update, we were told via email that they should receive the windows in 2-3 weeks and contact us to schedule a time for installation, but we've heard nothing from them yet although more than 3 weeks have gone by. Each time we inquired about the order status, we were met with excuses and false promises of progress.

Their communication has been abysmal, leaving us in the dark about the status of our order. We have made countless phone calls seeking updates, only to discover that either the order has not been placed or it was recently placed, forcing us to continue waiting indefinitely. Recently, they have taken it a step further, refusing to provide any information about the order at all. Our attempts to obtain transparency and accountability have been met with evasion and disregard.

Even after seeking legal advice, writing formal letters, and making a personal visit to their office on May 19th, we have received no meaningful response or resolution. Their lack of urgency, concern, and basic customer service is astounding. It is clear that they prioritize their own convenience over the satisfaction and well-being of their customers.

In light of these experiences, I strongly caution anyone considering Nationwide General Contracting/Exteriors for their contracting needs. Their bait and switch tactics, false promises, and outright negligence have caused significant distress, wasted time, and emotional turmoil for my family. We have been left with an incomplete project, shattered trust, and a feeling of helplessness.

I implore others to carefully consider alternative contractors who value customer satisfaction, professionalism, and timely project completion. Avoid Nationwide General Contracting/Exteriors at all costs if you wish to save yourself from the frustration and disappointment that we have endured.

We are still waiting for installation of a service we have already paid for
