Initially we were impressed with Alyssa's presentation & her ‘Marketing' approach. Sadly, in our opinion, she was not able to execute in even a reasonable manner, per the following: 1. We had to constantly stay on top of each stage of the process as she was often not available or slow to take action. 2. She took an un-announced vacation over a weekend, leaving us to deal with other agents that showed up with potential buyers. Other agents also showed up with clients (twice) saying they had an interested buyer but Alyssa had not returned their calls to book a showing. 3. She was working part-time, with no office staff, & often did not return calls for 2-3 days. 4. We began speaking with her about our concerns, and clarifying the expectations, within the first 2 weeks…each time we did this she seemed completely surprised!, and behavior did not improve. 5. After the closing we waited TWO hours to hear it was complete (she said she thought the title agent would call & that she was on a call with a friend the entire time, as we sat & waited to hear from her as we had agreed prior.) 6. We knew Alyssa had ‘left' another local agency & initially we thought her reasoning for that seemed to make sense…in hindsight that should've been our reason to ask even more questions about such things as: her ‘closing %' (it quickly became apparent that closing a sale & contract language were not her forte), not were other "availability/customer support" abilities. It would be our recommendation to list with a more established and supportive agency vs. Alyssa. It we had done so we would've saved ourselves significant time, $$$, and aggravation. This is our opinion based on our experience, ALL facts!
