A government website shouldn't be crashing when there is an impromptu deadline. There was obviously no preparation and plans for I. T prior the deadline announcement. We live in a world of LTE, where we have 5G knocking... Getting a NIN registration shouldn't be difficult. We should be able to go to the website, insert BVN/PASSPORT NO/DL NO- fetch biometric data and generate the NIN. It can be that simple. The website will work well. Thank you.

Hello, very disappointed in this vimc mobile Id app, I did my NIN registration here in the UK in February 2024 with all the requirements and paid the fee of £50, since I haven't got any Nigerian mobile number I registered with my UK number but to my surprise the app hasn't got any partnership with any UK mobile provider, so I couldn't get the OTP for the vNIN for weeks, I called the agent in the UK and i was told to find a Nigerian number and come back to their office for modification which will cost me another £40 again, what joke is this... Even the NIMC has not replied me back since I wrote them. But why are we punishing ourselves so badly, you ask us in the diaspora to register, get this and that but you have no provision for it. What a shame!

Just be careful when you are in the diaspora not to fall victim to their manipulations
