We are new to home gyms. We decided to jump right in, and buy a few different things from Pro-Form including a treadmill, a stationary bike, a workout bench, and a wall mount squat rack. All of them have been super great, and work as well or better than we thought. The only complaint is the treadmill had a small piece of cracked plastic, that I'm sure happened in shipment. None the less, everything works great, and we love it thus far.

I thought I was thorough with my research and now I realize I didn't do enough. After spending over 2500 they want additional money for assembly which I had no idea would be needed. Hired 3 men to assemble and it still isn't done. With so much frustration I called to return and was told that would cost me close to another 500. I keep getting sales calls to upgrade the program and when I say no they abruptly hang up. I'm so angry and I was so excited. They don't care, it's all and only about sales for these people. I really wanted to get started with this proform 9000 and get the hang of it and then upgrade along with another piece of equipment. SMH, so sad, just so very let down. What a disappointment, they just couldn't be honest from the beginning. Careless and pushy is all you will get from here.

I thought i could watch and listen to music while doing exercise, but nothing was allowed its like dum machine, better to buy a manual treadmill.

Waste of money and time on this.

I purchased a treadmill 2 years ago n I have insurance on it and I call n no one no how to help me I spent close to 500 dollars n my machine is not working I've tried caning many time s but no one knows my answer I world not recommend this pro form any equipment bc they don't help u at all keep passing u by other customer service n I' be waiting almost 3 hours just to say they can't help me at least send me some one that can fix it even if I have to pay again n u guys don't validate my insurance

Our elliptical and broken 2 times within the warranty period. After months of being told week after week that someone will contact me regarding our elliptical we still have no answers. Every time we call, they say they are escalating this issue and still no one ever gets back to us. I would never buy another product from this company.

Avoid this company. The service is bad. The treadmill is crap. I paid for the guarantee that cost me $300 for 4 years. I bought it 2 years ago, I called them because my computer was damaged, and the legs got rust After 3 hours on the phone, they told me that they were not going to fix it. And void the guarantee. Now I lost $1,800 + $300 extended guarantee.

This company is a piece of $#*!. I had my bike for 1 week and the peddle came off. The screw had be stripped. I waited on hold for 1.5 hours to be told to screw it in tighter. I said that wasn't an options. So I was told I would get a new peddle. What came in the mail? Screws that go to the seat. Also they are only open 8-6 M-F, so good luck talking to someone if you work.

I spent $142 on a new crank from Proform for an exercise bike and they refused to give any support on how to replace the old crank because the bike was no longer under warranty. After an exhaustive search of their online videos, which are very limited and assembly instructions, they give no information on how to do the replacement. Seems if you sell a product, you should support it.

After searching endlessly for a slim fit rad for my set up, I came across Proforms Youtube spot describing their great product and great customer service However when I called to try and get a rad for my project, Before I could get the complete description of my set up and what I was looking for, I was QUICKLY dismissed, rushed of the phone and directed to another company. The C/S agent did not even ATTEMPT to find a product of the measurements I needed. Very poor service. Thanks for NOTHING!

Unfortunately my wife had to argue with the delivery team to have them bring our pro-form into the house. They wanted her to open the garage and they would just place it in there and then just wanted to leave it on the driveway since she wouldn't open the garage. They reluctantly brought it into the house after being told I would be home in a few minutes to talk to them.
Set up was not particularly difficult, but we could not get the display system to work properly without first registering for the iFit program which neither one of us wanted. We just went through the registration process and then immediately cancelled once it started working.

Iv been trying to have treadmill repaid for months now. My treadmill has been stored in my home since the day i received it. Around the the 5 month mark I started to notice rust stops on one of the legs and speaker guard. I wiped them off but it kept coming back and spreading around the area. Until the time my belt stopped working I would wipe and clean off the rust. In November of 2022 the belt stopped working and would not move. So I call customer service and this is when the nightmare started. I called to get the rust areas to be decorated or fixed along with my belt. We get to the end where they are ordering my parts and they hang up. Keep in mind every time you call you are on hold for over an hour. We are now in December and I have to play my treadmill in the garage cause we have a Christmas party. Now they won't cover the rust parts cause I had to start the whole process over and take new pictures with your system and it was in the garage at the time. No the treadmill has been in the garage for a couple weeks by that time and had accumulated dust and hair from my husky and they won't replace it. I paid for my machine from their own website and they didn't even have my information in their system. The 8 customer service reps I talked to had no idea how to do their job and hung up on me cause the whole process to be restarted. Notice how one leg is rusted and another is not. Their third part company is useless also UTS. AVOID this company at all cost. Do not waste your money with these guys.

After less than a year with my machine I was having some minor problems. Reaching out for service has been nothing but a hassle. They make you jump through every hoop. No one responds to emails or phone calls. Neither the company nor local affiliates want to help.

I like many others, I believe, first thought about purchasing from Pro Form, based on using them in numerous hotels & gyms. When my Bowflex finally gave out, I decided to take a closer look at Pro Form, after a month or so of reading reviews on their Ellipticals I decided to purchase the Carbon EL. We assembled it the same day, step by step, we were pumped, if this worked out the treadmill was next on the list! Unfortunately it has never worked, after downloading the app, checking all the connections 10x, we still could not get any use our of it, the Display powers up, but is completely useless. We have not been able to run any programs whatsoever. Don't fret we thought, we have a 5yr maintenance plan...what a joke, no # to contact them by & emails are never answered, just an auto reply telling you that your request has been received. Well after waiting 6 weeks for an answer, I decided to post this horror story so that no one else would be defrauded by this company. To add insult to injury, they then sent me a 'Special Invitation' to extend my maintenance agreement...my night schedule opened up immediately so that I could alert the world about this scam!

Tip for consumers:
If you get a dud, they won't back their product, even with an extended warranty.

Been trying to fix this piece of junk treadmill for 8 months from waiting on phone for hours to unqualified people sending me same parts that didn't work before (why would they fix problem if they didn't fix it before) to setting me up with repair men that don't show up again if I were you I would think twice about purchasing from proform

I purchased the ProForm treadmill 2 years ago and also purchased the extended warranty for 4 years. Almost 6 months ago the treadmill started to make loud noises when I went 3.0 mph or faster. I immediately contacted ProForm/iFit to use implement my warranty and have them send a technician to fix the problem. For the past 5 months we have traded emails that keep asking me for the same information. I have even sent a video with the noise clearly apparent. Their latest email now has asked me to dismantle the treadmill tighten all of the bolts, take the motor cover off, etc. Isn't that what the technician should be doing because it is under warranty? If I can't get this issue resolved in the next month, I will request a full refund of my warranty. This is ridiculous!

It took close to 40 days to arrive the ordered treadmill (proof attached as a photo) and it came after several failed attempts to delivery. They scheduled twice, and I canceled my work to be at home on two days so that their shipping company can come and assemble stuff, but they never showed up or sent me a message. Finally things came after about 40 days ordering. I also ordered a bike and it came fast but look at the pictures how they packaged stuff. Horrible! In addition, the treadmill restart multiple times when using and google and see, it's known to happen with their stuff. Don't be stupid like me. Do a good research before you buy. Check their shipping company ratings - select express - the worst ever you'd see. Bad quality stuff and bad service. Also, they will charge you $250 or more if you decide to cancel the order in case of delays like I have.

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy Proform or any folks who use select express - do your research - if can drive to a city and buy from a real store - not online!

We have the space saving treadmill that folds up. We went for this option because our space is limited. It has been a real life saver after my husbands work gym was shut down. He has really enjoyed getting a little cardio in each day. I love to run and walk and this has been by far the best option for us! Even my kids have found the treadmill fun and easy to use. It's kept us all active.

I purchased your recumbent exercise bike 3 weeks ago because I had knee surgery and needed to bike. I purchased your treadmill in the past, love the iFit component (I am a member), I especially like John Peel's workouts. I follow him on my treadmill and bike. When I needed a bike I did not think twice and purchased a bike from you as well. After I started riding the bike, I noticed my knees were hitting the monitor because I had to push the seat all the way forward due to being short. I called your warranty department and they sent out a tech to look at my issue. He could not do anything about this issue and put this into the note. I called back to the warranty department the next day to see what they could do and this is where I am dissatisfied.

I was transferred to the returns department and was told in order to return this bike I had to pay a $250 restocking fee and 10% of what I paid for it. I only paid $399, so this made no sense because I would be paying almost double to return this bike. She was not helpful in resolving this issue. All she said she could do was provide 5% back ($20) and a product of my choice like an iFit heart monitor.

I told her I did not want any free items, I wanted a bike that would fit me properly. I have used many recumbent bikes and never have I had the issue of my knees touching the monitor. As I said, I had knee surgery and have hit my knees on this monitor and it is not comfortable. She said there was nothing she could do, nor ProForm. This was there policy and that's it! I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told none were available, but would pass on my what we talked about.

I told her I was going to be writing a bad review regarding this service, but she did not seem to care. So when you see the bad review in Google you will know why.

It is unfortunate that a big company like ProForm could not resolve my issue by exchanging my bike for another one that works for me. I guess one dissatisfied customer is okay with ProForm. They got their money from me, but not again! Shame on ProForm for having this type of policy and not making the customer happy. Especially one that was a previous customer that was happy and has had a misfortune of having knee surgery. I excepted better than this from this company. I live and work in Utah and have been to the company in Logan. I guess they have gotten too big for themselves.

I bought an elliptical from Pro-Form and spent $869. The sales agent asked me if I wanted the "white glove treatment" and spend 200 to have them put it together. I allow them to put it together for $200. After the assembler was done, I tried to get on the elliptical and the petals would not move. He said you had to go to the iFit app and download it to unlock. I did that and of course, that was a lie, I looked at the assembly book and the white glove people put the bars and the rollers on upside down. I called them back up and they came back out the next day to correct it. The way they were pulling and yanking on the bars without unscrewing everything and disassembling everything properly I knew items were going to be bent, as I tried it when they were done, the main wheel was rubbing, and the bars were very wobbly and out of sync. I call Pro-Form back to have somebody else come out to fix it they would not do it. They made me troubleshoot it over the phone which I did and those people said, yes I deserve a new machine. I got back to the sales reps and I asked them for a replacement and I would but it together myself, Pro-Form denied me, I asked for my money back and out of the $1069.00 The only refunded me 500. I said what about the 60 day money-back guarantee. Nope Liars!. I got screwed out of $569.00 and never used it one time. Of course by the few photos you can't actually feel the way the bike was wobbling and rubbing also that bar that has left on it was on the right hand side and vice versa. Do you think the assemblers should of know that? So basically I paid $200 to get screwed out of $569.
10 years ago, I paid for a bow flex and put it together myself, and it lasted 10 years.
If you're thinking about buying a pro-form product, I would highly suggest you reconsider.

What a wonderful company. My Proform Treadmill came quickly. Having this treadmill while the gyms are closed during this pandemic has really helped me and my daughter. The Programs they have with it are great. My daughter loves to run i tell you she runs and enjoys this so much. Their customer service is outstanding. I needed some help setting up my subscription and they responded quickly and walked me through what I needed to do. I received a discounted product in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I am very disappointed in the purchase of this treadmill. I spent the XTRA money thinking I was going to get an upgraded product. I have had wifi connection problems since I purchased it about a year ago. I was very excited about the Ifit, which is why I bought the model with a 22" screen. It worked 1 out of every 5 times. I finally gave up after a month, because the treadmill could not stay connected. I've had to use a very old-school manual workout for the last 10 months. The speakers have a horrible sound quality and if I turn the fan up more than two notches, it makes a loud noise and slows down the motor. It's like the 80's when you would turn on air conditioning in your car. I researched treadmills for two years and I truly regret purchasing this treadmill.

I received a Pro-Form spin bike and have really enjoyed mixing up my work outs. I generally run on treadmill but was looking for something to help break up the same work outs day in and day out. Received it and me and my 9 year old were able to put it together in about 1 hour time. Pretty straight forward instructions. I did purchase a different seat as I've got a bigger booty;-). I received a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Christmas gift for my wife gone terribly wrong!
We purchased this bike and it arrived non-functioning. I spent hours on the phone with different departments trying to get a replacement part. They told me I could watch a YouTube video to install it myself and I told them they were crazy, that they have to send a tech because it's under warranty! After going round and round, they finally scheduled the technician. He came out after the part
arrived and immediately said this is the wrong part. I spent many more hours on the phone with them trying to get the right part and after waiting several weeks (everything is back ordered and the first couple of CSR's didn't bother to tell me that but one of them finally accidentally let it slip), I decided to return the bike. That took several weeks to happen and now it's been more than a month that they've had the bike in their possession and they still have not refunded my money. I have called multiple times to ask about my refund. After more than 30 days in their possession, the CSR told me today that he'll put me on a hot list and I'll have my refund in 7 to 10 days. Seriously?
I would not buy anything from this company again ever.
RUN AWAY! And buy that popular bike that they advertise on TV.

Tip for consumers:
Buy the extended warranty if you buy their stuff. When it breaks, it's there only hope of any satisfaction.

I bought this treadmill for my daughter and I thought the iFit option would be an excellent extra to have built into the treadmill. But I found that the machine relies totally on the iFit subscription and if you don't purchase the subscription (at an eye-watering $45/month) it is very awkward to use. Why can't there just be a switch to toggle between iFit and manual use? There is manual mode but it is very limiting and frustrating to use. You cannot just get on the machine and run for 20 minutes. It has a preset timer that ends the session after 10 minutes forcing you to do the warm-up and cool down again. It's like they are punishing you for not buying the subscription. I paid $1800 for this controlling, frustrating, piece of junk, that my daughter does not use. I don't think I could sell it at half the price. It also takes forever to load up and connect to wifi. Why these major companies have surrendered to iFit? It's like suicide! I hope they go broke. What a waste of my money. John(Australia)
