“Downright nasty!”

The million dollar question: Is the manager of this place ok with the girl who works the front desk calling me a customer a weirdo which in the context of things didn't even make sense. I say "girl" because she is the age of a woman with the maturity of a child. I've going to this place for years but won't be returning. On previous occasions, I had always just walked in with my bags of documents to be shredded but the woman who works the front desk adamantly told me that isn't how they operate. Even other reviewers have said how they take walk in business. I told her that I had been a customer for years and she cast doubt on that by saying "really?" in a snide way. I can easily provide bank statements showing my previous transactions. I walked in with three bags on Friday, September 11th shortly before 1pm and was immediately given an attitude. I was told to bring the bags outside to the garage doors and she would bring the barrels out for me to dump my documents into. I bring the bags out and she tells me in a harsh tone to dump them in. She had already made that clear inside so I merely responded by saying that I already knew that and didn't need to be told again. If I had an attitude, it was simply a response to her abysmal attitude and acting put out because a customer came in. Once inside to make my payment, I told her that I didn't appreciate her tone. She responds by denying it, turning it around on me, and then has the audacity to call me a weirdo. How can a person in a customer service job call a customer a childish name? She didn't have a substantive argument and needed to resort to name calling. She lost her temper and it was reminiscent of a child's behavior. Her outburst was completely unwarranted and the magnitude of the tantrum was completely misaligned with the circumstances. In addition; (which I forgot to previously mention) in the midst of her charade she told me that when I came in that she had "just come out of the bathroom" as if this served as a justification for her terrible service. Someone that is this thin skinned doesn't belong working with customers. The last time I was in there it was a different woman and she couldn't have been better.
