Modern Rentals

This company is useless. They rented our house out to someone that had check fraud on their credit and knew about it. The tenant then gave them a counterfeit cashiers check for the deposit and first months rent, and moved him into my house. He lived there rent free for almost a month. They failed to do their due diligence in doing the proper background check. They also made us pay the legal fees to get him out of the house, even though it was their poor judgement and lack of due diligence that got us into this issue in the first place. They also "forgot" to put our house on the MLS listing, which is why it sat for a month without any viewings. We had to bring it to their attention that it was not listed online. Employees are like dealing with high school girls as they are unprofessional and point the finger. STAY CLEAR of them. We are currently waiting our Small Claims case to get back what we lost in using this unprofessional company.
