This site has gone downhill, FAST! I'VE BEEN A REGISTERED MEMBER SINCE THE BEGINNING. Just try contacting site owners/admin. With questions or concerns, like I have lately. NO ANSWERS or ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. They cut their own throats, now they have to deal with it!

For all those people who are wild about the past, Retrophoria promises to be the new online marketplace for collectors. Retrophoria is a website created especially for buyers and sellers of retro and vintage items.

The word Retrophoria is loosely taken from the the word euphoria. Retrophoria is defined as "a feeling of happiness or state of well-being while surrounded by items of the past." Retrophoria's goal is to provide that feeling of happiness.

Items are organized by the usual categories, Clothing, Collectibles, Housewares, etc. It also lists the items by decade. If you love 1950's, for example, you can narrow your search to that decade.

Sellers can place their items on the website for $0.20 each item and a transaction fee of 3.5% is charged if your item sells. Listings last for 150 days. Signing up is relatively painless and requires a credit card for any charges that accumulate. During their introductory period there are no listing or transaction fees.

All in all, the site looks promising. Signing up now and adding as many products during the introductory period is a good idea as it won't cost you anything. If you are into selling retro/vintage items, I think Retrophoria is worth a try.
