Got my first purchase from Rhinocamera... I bought a Canon EOS R with RF 24-105mm F4 IS lense + adapter. Came within specified period of time, safely packed. Received correspondence throughout delivery process. Replied swiftly with live chat on the website when i had enquiry about the package. Price is hard to beat... at least for the items i have bought. Using it every day - so far so good. Very pleased... (Will update if anything changes)

Absolutely dreadful experience! I ordered my Sony Alpha two months ago (order 810820), and it hasn't arrived yet. I used my camera for a few months for work but then stopped turning on. I returned it under warranty at my own cost. I've waited 4 months and have had rude one line email replies with no information given. The communication from customer service is extremely unprofessional and stressful. All I want to know is when I will get my camera returned, what is the fault or my money returned. I strongly recommend not using this company, I feel totally ripped off. I am thinking of visiting their offices and pursuing this through a lawyer.

This is a Gibraltar-based garage-shop selling products of questionable origin and quality. The website looks great and the ordering process is smooth... the problems started with delivery (I ordered Canon lens). The lens had no original packaging (just casually wrapped), no manual, no warranty included nothing... AND they were faulty! Also other smaller things I ordered on the side did not arrive... then of course you want a refund. But that requires you shipping back the product (at your own cost, USD 70 in my case for DHL)... and then the whole process was extremely unpleasant, cumbersome and unprofessional... finally I did get back my money, after 40 days of emailing or so... my advice: go to a proper camera/electronics shop next to you and pay 10% more to get a proper product and service...

This review is totally unacceptable, it is not written as a review, but instead to damage our business. Clearly with a 120,000 customers in 19 countries over 8 years the comment of being a garage shop is just insulting, there is no need to be insulting to the employees with our business. I am not sure why the user states 70 USD, we don't deal in USD, we are in Europe, it makes no sense to us. We do not know who this customer is as we have no order number, it is impossible to reply but it's clear the comments are made to damage our business, questioning origin and quality with 120,000 customers should not be the case, nor insulting the business by stating a a garage-shop - totally unacceptable and unnecessary.

I bought a camera last June (about 1900 EU). After almost one year and tons of debate I have no camera and I have no money, they don't want to pay back... The police has started the investigation. Never buy anything for them!

Well, yes... they ARE in Europe, in Gibraltar (or so it seems), but they are nowhere else as they claim to be. There's nowhere to call in order to get a repair, no original warranty to speak of, and if you want to return what you bought, for whatever reason, good luck getting your money back.
TrustPilot? Paid accomplices. Not kidding. They live off their deals with sellers. Do the math.

This review is totally unacceptable, firstly non of the manufacturers we deal with manufacture in China! Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sony all manufacture in Thailand and Japan and we purchase these through Europe. We repair over 500 items a year in Europe under manufacturer warranty, hence this comment is totally unacceptable. This is not a review this is an attempt to damage our business, it cannot be construed any other way and it is unacceptable, furthermore we don't pay for a Trustpilot account, its free, and we would happily leave them, hence with this, the inaccurate comment of China, Europe, disgraceful comment of scammers, with 120,000 customers in 19 countries over 8 years to deliberately look to damage a business is totally unacceptable.

This company is not the be trusted. From the moment I paid my 4,500 euro for a Sony FX3 camera things seemed off. They were looking for information that would be unusual like bills and bank statements, and identification. I gave them all of this including a photo of a box from DHL with my address because my utility bill and bank statement wasn't enough. I asked why did they need this information. I got no response on the question at any point.

The emails soon when dead with no order confirmation, invoice or update on the product. Only after asking for these details I was given a response. Another week went by and I was told my order would be sent with 5-7 days. I was happy and moved on. A week and a half went by, keep in mind I've paying clients shoots during this time I need a b-cam for, I got no camera and no delivery person at the door.

I send a quick mail asking for a tracking number with an informal response saying I'll track that down for you. Another week goes by and I now ask for a refund as no tracking number was sent, no information on delivery and with this camera needed asap I would get it locally much faster.

Rhinocamera.com and Rhinocamera.de are now refusing to refund this money and have written excuses that I do not live at my address and that I did not answer their phone calls. I have no missed calls and my very clear line of communication via email is not being replied to. Send me a tracking number and I'll know when to be at home.

Buyer be very aware, stick to reputable companies. I'll be happy to send all records of these emails to the Trust Pilot team for verification. I also have screeshots of the seven times I called the number they provided to a manager. I'm still trying to get my 4,500 euro back after a month since purchasing. Fingers crossed they don't run with it. We have logged a report with the CCPC (The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission) to aid us in the issue.

Week 9 update: Unfortunately all attempts to refund or deliver the package have been stopped by the seller Rhinocamera.com. After looking through the many 1 star reviews on Trust Pilot I'm seeing the same patterns being made. Refusing to refund payment, not giving a tracking number for the package from the supposedly refused delivery, not providing a tracking number for a replacement package, harassment via email and scheduling calls on the weekend to a Spanish number that does not answer (7 attempts with photo evidence). All highly suspicious.

I could post the name of the individual I'm dealing with but I'd like to respect personal info as much as possible here as this is a professional issue and not a personal one.

I will be contacting the unfortunate people who have left reviews of their customer service to participate in a video review only sharing our personal experience with this company to protect future potential buyers. No one should have to go through this harassment and also have their money withheld. Please reach out if you've had any issues and I'd be happy to chat.

Use a more established camera store with better reviews.

Unfortunately this person is not giving the full story. Let us be clear here:

1. They ordered a Sony camera
2. The courier went to the address given to deliver the item, they were told by the person who lives there that "Garreth Caulfied" does not live there and never heard of them.
3. On googling their email address, he offers to teach people "How to get free items on the internet".
4. We called Garreth twice with no answer, phone records will be provided (we have now actually contacted Garreth 5 times by phone, never any answer)
5. Gareth was asked to provide a phone number we can call him on for explanation, he gives the same number but does not answer.
6. He has not provided an explanation why he is not located at the address he has given
7. He has not provided an explanation why his email address is online offering to teach people how to get free items online

His response is not provide this and look to damage our business. The fact he says he has no missed calls, yet we will provide proof of calling his phone 5 times says everything.

Explanation should be required and we take cybercrime seriously and any retailer would like an explanation as to the above. Should the explanation not be acceptable we will hand the matter to the Garda (irish police) and also publish a warning online for any retailer using his name.

*Update - Garreth was given a phone number Saturday morning to speak to our General Manager directly and explain why his name is not recognised at the delivery address and also why his email is online offering to teach people how to get free items online, no call has been received, nor a reply to the emails sent. As anyone would appreciate this is highly suspicious, why would his name not been known at the address? Why and how is offering to help people get items online for free? We have informed Mastercard of the situation and they too are awaiting an explanation.

Garreth promised to call our manager today, he has not, instead he has now chose to try and create a witch hunt as shown above, furthermore has wrote reviews in other locations.

The questions remain, why does no one know who Garreth is at the delivery address, why does he offer to help people get free items online and why is he not phoning to answer these questions. The matter has been passed to the Garda (irish police) and our lawyers, we will get to the bottom of this with the help of the authorities.

Rhino camera is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a new camera in May 2021, the camera mysteriously stopped working in September 2021. I asked customer support what to do and they requested I send the camera back to them (at my own cost) for them to investigate. The camera was received and signed for by Rhino Camera in October 2021. It is now 8 months later and I have had the most horrendous communication from their staff. Despite informing them of my new address abroad and offering to pay for a courier to collect the camera from them they are rude, unresponsive and utterly incompetent. The general manager initially apologized for the staff's incompetence and then turned out to be the most incompetent of the lot! I email and call and use the live chat to try to get a response and yet 8 months down the road I am still camera-less, with no answers and this has massively impacted my livelihood as a professional photographer.
This company is an absolute joke and I am €2000+ out of pocket and have zero camera to speak of.
It's disgusting how this company operates.

I bought a camera with a black friday offer on november 23th and I received on 24th december after we spoke that I would receive a refund. After all I opened and the packet was manipulated, no invoice anywhere and the Black Friday offer that consisted on a battery and a lens filter was a fake. I received a cheap battery not compatible, there was no lens filter anywhere and the comunication was bad, not professional and agressive sometimes.

I will never buy again there and take care if you are planning too.

Is very suspicious to receive the package thst way without invoice and it looks like second hand or black market.

I ordered a Nikon Z5 on black Friday in 2021 on the Rhinocamera's website, the company didn't send me the tracking number, the excuse for that is what they called "the bulk shipping": once this bulk of packages are been delivered to a specific region they scatter off, and only at that time a tracking number will form, and I stupidly trusted them. The man that I always contacted is called Miguel Garcia he kept blaming the COVID pandemic for the delay. Before Christmas I asked him if the camera was able to arrive before Christmas, Garcia said yes off the top of his head. Now 3 months later after I bought it, I haven't received anything, I've already canceled this order since January due to this seemed infinitive delay, they said the money had been refunded immediately and it might take a working week to successfully receive it, after 2 weeks of waiting, not to my surprise, nothing has gone into my account. I imagined some other possibilities that might delay this refundment like the money has been refunded to the wrong credit card, so I asked him to send me proof of this refundment, and... well I guess I wouldn't be here if he sent me that.
So the conclusion I think Is pretty obvious, don't buy anything from Rhinocamera, don't be another fool like me who would ever buy something expensive on a small website.

Uwaga! Nigdy nie zamawiajcie nic z tego sklepu. Rhinocamera to oszusci! Oszukali mnie na prawie 5000 PLN! Nie polecam tej firmy...

I never received the camera and am now in a battle to have the costs refunded of a very expensive camera. This has still not been done (after 1 week of asking) and I have no way to know if this will be done. To make matters worse, the customer service is poor and I'm not being treated well. Buyer beware.

STAY AWAY and here's why...

On 9th of March 2021 I ordered Canon 24-70mm f4 L IS USM lens, which cost me 749 EUR. I started using it and the photos were not turning out as they should and eventually I brought it to a professional photographer to identify the issue. He confirmed that the diaphragm of the lens is not working properly, which is why I am getting overexposed images.

On August 14th I contacted RhinoCamera support service to inquire about the resolution of this situation. They advised me to send the lens to Rhino Returns address and said that it will be repaired.

The lens was delivered to them on the 8th of September 2022 and I did not hear back from them. On the 8th of November I contacted them to inquire about the status of my lens. To which they replied that they have not received it and that I should provide proof of the delivery. I provided them not only the tracking records, but also went to the delivery company to provide a proof of delivery with signature.

I have all the proof that the faulty lens was delivered to the Rhino Camera returns address and even have a proof of recipients signature. After providing all this proof to Rhino Camera, they still say that they have not received my parcel and they are not willing to do anything about it. Instead they are telling me to check with the delivery company.

I have sent yet another email today on the 10th of February 2023 to ask for a replacement or a refund. But it seems that they are not willing to find a resolution of this matter. This leaves me no choice, but to WARN everyone else NOT to order from this site. It is clear that they are NOT and honest business.

Also, I will be reporting them to all the review sites, because I have proof that they offer a free memory card, battery or UV filters in exchange for good reviews. This behavior is against the guidelines as they offer incentives in exchange for reviews. This is exactly the reason why you see so many good reviews here.

Extremely poor experience with this company. Cannot in good conscience recommend them. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else with actual customer service and real products. Started dealing with fiasco on the 15 November. Got no tracking number or information on my order so got in touch on the 22 November - when the item should have already arrived theoretically, but it hadn't. Was met with some explanation about DHL having delays due to pandemic restrictions which I am not even sure are true but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I hear nothing and receive no package once again so I mesasge on 29 November. I get an apology for the delay but just vague information and nothing concrete about if and when I might receive this lens. I get a response in Dutch two days later which is a bit strange considering we have been conversing in English but no matter, I understand Dutch and still ask the same questions as I have not received any information. I wait a few more days again, nothing. I message on 3 December to ask for a tracking number. Now all of a sudden he responds saying the parcel is 'unable to be located' and he 'set a deadline of 12pm Monday to locate the parcel or they will block and claim the parcel and resend another parcel immediately but (I) can guarantee you that you will receive your parcel, either the existing package or a new package". It felt promising but I was getting a bit weary of all this suspicious back and forth. Thus I immediately responded "Hello M,
Where is the parcel being shipped from? I was under the impression that this was a Belgian company. I need the lens for a gig that I am doing. And I'm afraid I cannot keep going with this vagueness. I was asking for a parcel number so I can at least check on the tracking myself or speak to DHL. Or a date of when I would receive the item as it did not arrive in the allotted time on the website. " He responds three days later not having answered any of my queries – on 6 December 2021 "Hello, All items are sent from France." Therefore, my prompt response:

Could I please get a response to my other queries as well? I do need to know if I have to go an buy the lens from somewhere else as this one doesn't seem to be arriving nor do I have a tracking number for it?

Just wanted to say that I ordered this item on the 15 November. It is now 6 December. I think I have been very patient with you guys being vague about when it will arrive but I do need a more concrete answer today.

If I do not receive this information by EOD today I will be filing a claim with my credit card company to cancel the order as I think I have been more than fair to wait since then. I promptly respond at this point as I think I have been extremely patient. Another week? Sorry but I need to cancel this. I would like a refund asap
To which he simply says:"Hello, I will request this replacement is blocked for you if you do not want to wait."
Me:"Sorry I have waited almost a month and only keep getting vague dates of when it might arrive.
I needed the lens for a job I was doing that I had to cancel because it took so long.
How long will it take for my refund to be processed?
His response: Hello, Once this has been blocked the refund will take 2-3 banking days to show back on to the account you used to make the order."

Long story short - I have simply escalated this as fraud to my credit card company as this is just unacceptable behaviour. I waited over a month for nothing.

Edit as of 18 February 2022 - still no refund nor product. More threats of legal action. Ignored ask for address for legal service for my lawyers to serve them. Now reported to the police.

I ordered a tamron lens on August 20, August 23, received an email about the shipment, 5 days later, wrote to support the question of where my product is, I have not received a tracking number, after 14 days, I wrote that DHL can not locate the shipment, they promised to send a replacement. Replacement was not found, the money returned September 22

The second time I bought a Rhinocamera lens for my Canon. First Sigma 100-400mm lens and now Canon 16-35mm f / 4. The purchase went well and quickly. The package was very well packed in the Czech Republic in 3 days and protected against damage. Price more than great compared to local shops, the difference is usually more than 1/4 in favor of Rhinocamera.

I cant fault the service (to Cyprus). Delivered in days by DHL.
Contacting the company regarding a slight delay was answered promptly and the delay was due to a Bank Holiday that I forgot. Would not hesitate to use again.

I can say only that this was tje best ecperiece with ordering from another country. They did everything for me, and I didn't have any problems with customs and transport costs. Dhl delivered the package directly to my front door adress. Thank you Rhinocamera once more!
