Souffle Restaurant

I do not know how their food is, heard it was great so I purchased a gift certificate for $150 for a friend. When I discovered it never arrived I reached out 3 or 4 times via the phone speaking to managers who said they would handle it. Nov 2020 I finally was given an email address for a Ms Olivia. I sent her the copy of my receipt and she forwarded to Dallas Rise manager, Ms Lauren Bindel who did not get back to me. On 12 July 2021 via email she finally agreed to issue a refund to my credit card. Their refund did not credit to my account and she said to give it more time. A month later I asked for them to just send me a check. NO RESPONSE. When I finally called last week, she informed me because I got frustrated with not getting the credit to my card and asked for a check, her owners told her to stop all communication. I have no recourse now but to let everyone else know to NOT EVER buy a gift card from them. They basically will steal your money and it is not worth it to go to small claims court.
