I needed an engagement ring and was in a hurry. I tried reaching out via phone unsuccessfully but the chat option is great. Jacklyn helped me expedited my order and topped it with a special discount. I was excited to get a personal engagement ring. Less than two months after my engagement, one of the diamonds fell off. Ritani repaired the ring at no cost to me. However, 5 months another diamond fell off. In less than a year 2 incidents of diamonds falling off. After spending almost 6 k on a ring, I expected a better quality.

Superb craftsmanship. Excellent sparkle. Also great communication from Ritani. Can't wait to order more.

History of a nightmare: Saturday I ordered a classic solitary (around 800 $) from Ritani website with a great help from a local jewelry employee. Is my first engagement ring so I needed to be sure that nothing can go wrong. The delivery date was the Wednesday and it was perfect because Thursday I will have to fly back to Italy. Purchasing done and I received the e-mail with the reference code and all the data. And until now all was fine, I was really happy, is a big step for me!
Monday I received an e-mail from RITANI there were some problems because of my italian credit card (Mastercard). Ive bought many things (and with higher value) in US without a problem. The billing team said that they not accept foreign credit cards and I have to pay with a US credit card or a bank wire transfer. I answered to the e-mail asking why the credit card was accepted from the system? Of course if they have these policies they can write it in a note and anyway when they accept the online order the information that was a foreign credit card was already there. I wrote them that for me wasnt a problem to do the bank transfer but I needed the bank details and only if they confirm the delivery date on Wednesday. No answer. They sent me another e-mail asking me how I want to proceed. I answered again no answer. Ive sent another e-mail today but after having wait a little bit Ive decided to call RITANI. They never received/read my e-mail. Ive told them that they can charge my credit card because I dont need a preview but I want to buy the ring. Theyve said to me that was not possible for their policy. Of course now there is no time to do the bank transfer because they can process the order only when the money is officially on their account (it takes a couple of day usually).
I was looking forward to give the engagement ring during a perfectly planned holidays but thanks to RITANI that will not happen!
The only positive thing is that I will give my money to a company that deserve it.
Hoping that you will not have these problems and at least they will read your e-mails!

I wish I could give Ritani 5 stars, but I have received only half of the diamonds I've ordered from them and while their prices can be excellent, that doesn't matter if the stone you want is not available. My first order of a lab created diamond went well and the price was fantastic. A second order also went well and the price was incredible. I always research the diamond by certificate # and it was clearly hundreds cheaper on Ritani. But a third order I was told the diamond had been sold. They tried to sell me on some other diamonds that were all inferior to the one I ordered, but to their credit they immediately credited my card when I said I did not want another stone. Following day the stone I was told was not available was back on their site at a higher price. I questioned them about this and they had no good answer. They did say the prices can fluctuate but this did not explain how it showed up back on their site. I did continue to buy from them, 2 more diamonds, but I also had 3 more orders where I was told the diamond I ordered was not available. In 2 of those instances the diamond reappeared on their site. For it to happen once I could believe their excuses, but not 4 times. To understand this fully, you have to understand that most of the online diamond sites are only brokers, the stones are overseas and will be sent to the store when you buy it. These stones are many times available on several sites at once with prices all over the place. At times, thousands of dollars in difference. The store loses nothing if your stone is not available because they're just going to try to sell you something else. In every case what Ritani tried to sell me was never the great deal like the stone I paid for. They never hesitated to credit my card back though. All 4 stones I did receive were fantastic prices, one of the best being a 3 carat cushion, before tax, for $787. All orders were sent within a reasonable time and well packaged with IGI certificate and appraisals. All sent by free FedEx shipping. It's a shame that in some cases they chose to do what seems to be a bait and switch, which might work on some guy looking to buy an engagement ring diamond but not on me. I started using another store with better prices, that is not as well known and when I check Ritani's prices overall they seem to have less deals. The last diamond I purchased, a 6.25 carat Pear, was more than $1000 less on the site I purchased it from than Ritani and I also noticed that after I bought it from the other broker, it still remained on Ritani's site as "available" for at least a week, when I knew it was not. Lately (August/September 2023) their prices have become much higher than their competition. Overall Ritani is worth checking out for their lab diamonds and if you see a great deal on a diamond your chance is about 50/50 that you'll actually receive it.
