I, as other reviewers purchased a costume from Rubies. After getting it home, I discovered a few issues that made me want to return it, however they have a policy of only exchanges. I emailed the company about my concerns, and within an hour or two received a response. The next day I met with Mr. Vazquez, who was extremely courteous and understanding of my problems. He took ownership of the problem, and went above and beyond what I expected. I was partially at fault as I should have tried the costume on prior to purchasing it, but in the end I was totally satisfied with Rubies solution. I would not hesitate to purchase any items from them, and have never had a better customer experience. Because of their customer service I would highly recommend Rubies to friends and family

I ordered a Star Wars X-Wing costume for Halloween 2021. The item arrived in time. When I took it out of the package, it seemed like there must have been some mistake. This $100+ getup was the cheapest, flimsiest, poorest-quality item I've ever owned. I wore the costume a total of one time, and the crotch ripped repeatedly. I emailed the company. They responded by asking for photos and all sorts of information. I sent everything straightaway. It's been a week and I've heard nothing more. Buyer beware!

I ordered a purge mask from them and it does not work at all I'm not satisfied and they will not be getting no more of my money that is poor quality objects they use first it says price is 4 dollars then y'all want 11 dollars they are not a good place

The costumes I ordered for my family for Halloween came in plenty of time and were a hit. However, The sizes were incorrect for two of the 4 costumes, which was confirmed by the shipping receipts. However, it was too late to get an exchange so we just dealt with it. The quality and fabric were pretty terrible too. For a $50 costume, you should receive more than a falling apart robe and a plastic belt. Everyone at parties and events thought we were adorable, but the quality is quite lousy.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a costume and when it was received, it was cheaply made and ill fitting. I returned it, at my own expense, a few days later. After several weeks had passed with no credit (which wasn't going to include the original shipping cost), I called and was told that the item had stains on it when they received it so there would be no credit. Really? It was never worn and why would I be so stupid as to try to return something with stains on it and think I could get away with it? Just a scam to keep your money for poor quality items and the worst part is that I ended up paying for shipping twice and they have the item that I returned too.

Tip for consumers:
STAY AWAY!

This company never sent the clothing they promised. When I told them I wanted to cancel the order they said the clothing was in the "manufacture" stage. BS! That was over a month ago. I was lied to CONSTANTLY I escalated my case to Paypal and this customer has the gaul to say that I must close the Paypal case 1st before my money is refunded. THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS! Trust me, stay away from this company. They think by stalling and stalling you will get tired of the emails. Well lemme tell ya. I am like a dog with a bone and I am going to keep on gnawing until I get satisfaction.

So about a week ago, I ordered the Nightmare Freddy costume. I was so excited when I opened it up, but when I tried it on and looked in the mirror I was pissed. The package makes the mask look like a headpiece but it's just crappy plastic with a string. My hair was showing, and it said ages 8-10(I'm 12) but on Amazon it never said that. Also the mits are inaccurate but idc about those. Now my mom won't get me a new costume so I either have to wear that, a costume that makes me sweat a lot, or a broken inflatable costume. This is false advertising you should just show that the mask doesn't cover your whole head, not that hard. I'm gonna get bullied for this piece of $#*! costume and I didn't even do anything wrong to deserve this. So thanks a lot for ruining my Halloween.

Tip for consumers:
Use picture proof( I couldn’t get anything since I already packed it up for return so not many will believe me)

Umm i got a costume and i put it on and it started riping from the top.
Also it had triangles on it but they were cut really badly. Sizes were not good
