Bought a beautiful shirt after seeing it on one of my favorite influencers. It arrived. I paid a little more than I usually do for shirts. But it was so beautiful and she spoke so highly of the brand that I felt pretty confident. It was very very thin material, which surprised me. It also has a strange chemical odor that will not go away. I have washed this shirt about five times and cannot remove this strange unappealing odor. So disappointing. Edit: The company has offered to replace the blouse--- HOWEVER: In the 4 emails they have sent me in the last 5 days---they have told me they will take "next steps" if I do not remove this review.

Will not issue refunds, you only get a store credit. Why would you want a store credit when the merchandise is cheaply made. No I should get my money back when a product is inferior to what you describe. Total rip off

I've been wanting to order a Brooklyn blouse for over a year. I ordered it for a special occasion. I really wanted to like it. When it arrived (almost two weeks later) in size S, I was disappointed to see how oversized and long it was and how scratchy and cheap the fabric felt. Big unpleasant surprise at $209. There was nothing else I liked on their site so I asked for a refund minus their shipping and handling. Their Customer Service told me that that they have "a clearly posted no-refunds policy" on their website and their owner confirmed that she will keep me to this gotcha. I highly recommend everyone who considers buying from them online reads this policy. They will not release any unhappy customers, unlike any other business would. After you pay to ship back what you do not keep, they will keep you in the exchange and store credit loop. If you write on their Instagram page telling others about their no-refunds policy, they will ban you there.
Tip for consumers:
Be prepared to keep everything you do not like. Or take a gamble with trying to order something else (that you might not like). Either way, consider your money gone even if you cannot use the product.

Had such high hopes but the fit is way too long and the silk feels scratchy! Also, no refunds only a credit but a return fee charged as well.
Beautiful fabrics and patters, but fits everyone differently. STORE CREDIT ONLY! You are held hostage to spending $200 if it doesn't work out.

I think if you walk into the store you would have a better experience.

I did get a shirt eventually, but if through the mail you can’t return for your money back. They force you into store credit. 90% of the clothes are the same style so if it doesn’t work for your body it is difficult to find something that does. There are much easier small batch companies to work with. The owner doesn’t care about the customer at all.
