One employee has stood out to me for awhile. Keith Hoffman works on the self-scanner line and his efficiency, professionalism, pleasant manners, and hard work all makes him an asset to his company & makes me want to return here bc employees like him upgrades the experience of this place. I just recognize great & helpful employees everywhere i go (which is not uncommon unfortunately) but Keith is a standout and should be called out.

Shoprite-Brookdale New Jersey Why your store is almost ALWAYS out of stock with the items needed most. This happened so many times. Also slapping on all those additional fees-online shopping fee, bag fee, etc. and charging $14.99 for delivery when most supermarkets delivery for free does not help to keep customers loyal. The ShopRite store in Cromwell CT had the best BBQ ribs for around 10 months straight, up until end of February 2024, now they are hard and dry. Very disappointing.

So I spent $235 forgot my ShopRite card and I asked one of the managers could they help me or find a key where I could get the discount they looked at me like I had two heads $235 later so they said give me your license and we'll find your phone number so I did it took the 40 minutes I was so upset. I went over there and asked for my card and snatched it from the lady very upset next time I'll think about spending that much money in the store where they can't be courteous and compensate a customer.

This person swas very threatening to me last night in this store. I plan to write about his everyday until I can come to this store without threat. He did not want to put the price on the fabric softener you can pull cam as I look for the price as he and a coworker stand and chat. Someone spoke to him and I said that he saw me looking for the price. I was walking away when he then came to me screaming that I better watch myself. I walked away then returned to take these photos of him. I shop and live in the community I will not be threatened by workers where I spend my hard earned money.

I got on the line because I didn't want to ring my groceries and bag them my 70 plus years old self. Not the first time this has happened in this store. I feel it's a Minority thing.

The Shoprite 9-slice Pizza has been replaced by their new Bowl and Basket label. The only problem is that although the box size is the same, the product inside is 2/3 the size of the Shoprite branded version. Its very odd looking, like it was a manufacturing error; a badly cut lot. It sits in a mostly empty box that's just over 18 oz. Another victim of product downsizing. Maybe Shoprite thinks we're stupid, but Walmart individually wrapped deep dish pizzas are comparable. One more reason to get my groceries at Walmart. Way to go Shoprite.

I purchased shoprite brand half and half. I went to use it this morning all that came out was cloudy water. I brought it back for exchange and they said no because they don't exchange perishable products after seven days. I explained the product didn't go bad I didn't get half and half in the container, must of been a problem when packaging at the factory. I wasn't accommodated. I left frustrated came home and called customer service no help there either.
List a customer after seventeen years.

Everyting in this store is HORRIBLE, There produce & meats are the worse they don't even check there rotten vegetables. And there cashiers are not pleasant. So Glad that I shop at WEGMAN'S. They have everything that is beautiful in this store. I can't understand how shoprite stays in business.

I was doing my shopping like I always do in Shoprite (phoenix plaza)every month and I went by the cashier (guy named Jermaine)to pay for my stuff,he then produced to ask me for my number and I did not give him I told him that I am engaged but he still did not budge he wrote his number on the slip and told me to message him which I threw away after refusing to give my number he was very rude to me he said to me "you think i cant get you " i honestly feel threatened to go back to that mall because of him

That rice sucks. ShopRite should be more careful in the selection of their products. I hardly ever buy anything bowl and basket because it is absolutely sub par products and the rice proved my point.

Tip for consumers:
Bowl and basket products are well below sub par. They actually suck. Especially the rice.

I went shopping at the Liberty, NY location for a few items this evening around 6:09pm-ish and service was fairly decent and the cashiers were very polite, but upon leaving the store, and as I walked to my car to load my groceries, I noticed the store manager came out yelling at one of the cart associates who was speaking to the gentleman taking donations for Salvation Army! He yelled at the poor associate and told him to "Take out the F**King trash!" I wanted to say something to the store manager for being disrespectful, but thought not to get the poor associate into trouble. I've noticed a couple of managers who have been very disrespectful towards their employees over the last few weeks over at that location when I've gone shopping and i find that disgusting that those managers are allowed to treat their employees like that. Hopefully someone can do something about their behavior, I've never seen anyone act like that before in a grocery store, especially someone who is a higher position. Looks like I'll be taking my business elsewhere!

Tip for consumers:
Treat your employees with respect and kindness! And if you can't do so, don't be a disrespectful store manager!

Made an online purchase, invoice was sent and you can see that replacement were made. No one bothered to call to say such. Had to call, received none of the item that were substituted. When they finally sent the rest of my items, the delivery person left them out on the porch in the sun (chicken, fruit, bacon). Tomatoes were over ripe and packed at the bottom of bag, tomato soup is what arrived. At least when you order from ACME they call you about subs and send an email for approval. Guess im going back to ACME.

Is in Hamilton, Princeton, North Brunswick and Edison. They provide the best service, have professional staffs, friendly, helpful than some of the other Shoprite. I will recommend them to Shoprite customers.

I shop different days & different hours, but it makes no difference. Too often, SR in Chester NY is out of the sales stock and if it is a digital item, you cannot get a raincheck for the digital price. Also, I am older, and it takes me longer to pack. In the meanwhile, as soon as I pay, the cashier is taking the next order, and those items are getting close to the ones I have not yet gotten to. I am tired of feeling rushed to pack and get out. On the other hand, almost all the cashiers are pleasant and some even offer to help me pack. Oh, and I almost forgot - the meat is usually good here, but the produce is often not so good.

This is a grocery store. It's produce is often not good and I wind up throwing it away the next day or the day after.

Been there 3 times and every time had to fight for the sale price.not sure why. The ad says 4.99 a pound but when you check out its 7.99 lb.show the kid the sales flyer he called the manager he says did you down load the digital coupon.i said no it dosnt say that in the ad.he said well you have to.next time tuna 10 for 8.88 had customer service girl download digital ad bought 10 cans charged me 1.79 a can.the place is a joke ripping people off not even good at it.BEWARE of shoprite

On August 15 at 6 pm I proceeded to buy at the ShopRite located in Sucasuna. I always enter with my two dogs in a doggie car, not only in this establishment but in all the ones in the area such as Walmart etc. And nowhere have they ever asked me for documents that they are service animals since at no time did they touch the supermarket floor and even less have the ShopRite carts been used to enter them. Just because this woman is uncomfortable with pets.
I call on all pet owners to speak out on the matter and this woman be penalized and not buy on this site again

Will not be buying anything from this store Prices are outrageous, employees are nasty When I asked the guy at the fish dept why the cases where covered He gave m attitude and said Because their covered.Really if I was his manager he would have been fired ShopRite of stirling is the worst ShopRite around They need to hire employees that actually work other than walk around and talk to each other Rather than helping check outs Hey saker family,just want to say screwd up this store

A few weeks ago, they updated their website and their app, so now nothing works properly. Everyday, it's a different issue and those of use who depend on grocery delivery have had to take our business elsewhere. Apparently, not enough of us have been inconvenienced, so they repeatedly ignore the issues. I'm disappointed in the lack of customer care - it's just a shame to see loyal customers ignored.

Tip for consumers:
Grateful that we have so many choices in this area and plenty of grocery stores still provide online shopping.

What's on my mind? ShopRite and Stop & shop. For the most part nobody likes food shopping. I personally never really minded it. Made it joyful. But those days have ended. I have not had a easy time of it since digital coupons came out. I won't even go there with the bags...(everything I buy made of plastic and of course I still forget my bags. I look like I'm stealing most every time I go)
Nope this is about those darn digital coupons. It's not that I'm not descent with technology. But I was never a person to clip my coupons at home. I wasn't a coupon shopper. So when I do use the digital coupons, I do it there. OH, but there's a problem from the beginning...no service to upload it. The grocery stores are some of the worst when it comes to the internet. So now I know I will have to check out. EVERY SINGLE TIME... IT'S WORKED ONE TIME FOR ME IN PROBABLY THE LAST TWO YEARS. (I'm terrible with time, could be 3, could be 1.) It's terrible what these large companies put the employees through to fix this every time.
I feel sorry for the older folk, who have no idea how to use technology. They need the discounts more than anyone. So Stop and Shop and Shoprite you have alienated the senior citizens. You are totally AGE SHAMING.
So yesterday...I can't load up my digital coupons on my phone...mostly to frustrating as you can put in the product and almost 9 times out of 10 it says no coupons.
So I always have to go to the front kiosk and load them up, with a full heavy cart. Now if there's a line at the kiosk...I have to wait there too. Then I try to load up my coupons, and half the time I have to go through EVERY SINGLE COUPON….EVERY SINGLE ONE. BECAUSE YOU CANNOT FIND IT IF YOU WRITE THE NAME IN.THERE'S A SEARCH TOOL.BUT IT MIGHT AS WELL NOT BE THERE BECAUSE AGAIN IT WORKS 1 TIME OUT OF 10.
So yesterday, I went to get some items for a party and noticed the pepsi was 3 for 14.88 with the digital coupon. I hadnt been there that week at all (starting sunday when the new flyer begins)

Of course it wouldn't come up when I searched Pepsi. Only mini pepsi's and 2 liter pepsis. So I had to go to the kiosk, that didn't work. Went to customer service and that took almost a half an hour because they told me I had used the coupon. Which I hadn't. So I used my daughters, went to the kiosk and hers showed up the same. However when we put in her number with the customer service although it didn't visibly show it, she could use the coupon. Their system was not working correctly. Boy was I surprised at that, ( no I wasn't) So finally a manager had to come over and override the system, Now I had to take out these large 12 packs and pay for them there.

Oh and then, we have to check out ourselves. That's a whole other rant. Not one time, have I not needed an assistant. Not because of me, the machine stops me and calls over a person, multiple times. Maybe because I'm not an employee and was NEVER TRAINED ON THEM. And I know there are times, you can be in and out on them. But sometimes….if you don't know to "add your own bag" or put the weighing item down wrong….your going to get flagged and the person comes over…ugh

Anywho. My experiences at both supermarkets are never joyful anymore. Something always goes wrong and my ½ shopping turns into an hour.

So Stop and Shop and Shoprite. Here's how you fix the digital coupons. (We know you have them to make sure we only take the certain amount of items each week - limit 4, once I use the digital I can't go back that week and buy 4 more. I get it) So here's what you need to do to make your customers happy. JUST LOAD UP EVERY DIGITAL COUPON TO OUR CARDS AND IT CAN BE TAKEN OFF AT THE REGISTER. IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS, AND THEM GETTING THE DISCOUNTS YOU WILL DO THIS.

Shoprite on island ave near Lindbergh its clean and all n neat but I wanted to see the store manager and he was not there.some of manager which he was the not the manager of the store did not help.he was a young kid n I was explaining to him about how my lunch meat wasn't packaged right n all he did was look at me crazy! I will never ever go back to that store again.my beef bacon from the deli was not packaged right. Half of the bacon was unwrapped.will not be going back there again! N I have a picture of the bologna beef that I shouldn't had gotten

My name is Rehana and I am Muslim. July 19 at around 7.45 I went to ShopRite. I called on the duty worker during self-checking, but he did not come and verbally helped me. Again I called then very rudely he came and helped me. Then I call the on-shift manager supervisor and complain, she said "Please stay away you spite on my face". I was in shock then I said nothing and left the store. Why they were behaving like this was because I was in my HEJAAB. I am not a well-looking personality. But they hurt me today.

I called ShopRite 2xs to get in touch with a manager and no one ever answered so here is my review. I bought cream of crab soup (bowl&basket) brand.The soup was filled with pieces of hair.In a closed package so I don't know where it's being packed at. But y'all need to get it together that's disgusting.And answering the phone I'm assuming is too much.As of now no has connected me to a Manager after 3 attempts that's ridiculous.

Store manager mast all staff the same as he treat his familie
And must not scatter the staff members hopes and dreams
The staff menber is good to help out when to stand in to take control if when no body is available
