Do NOT use this firm under any circumstances. I asked TSLF to advise me in the mediation of my divorce. Their errors, negligence and omissions dragged out the settlement for months, costing me tens of thousands of dollars unnecessarily. I had to terminate them because they were making my situation worse and costing an exorbitant amount. They gave me incorrect legal advice and withheld documents from me that pertained to my own legal obligations. They got me into a situation in which my spouse could name all of the terms of the settlement without recourse, and my share of the assets were seized under the control of my spouse until I accepted her terms. They did not successful negotiate a single term in my favor. Their billing practices were extortionary- their expenses were unjustified and twenty times higher than anticipated but I had to pay in advance with no opportunity to contest the billing.

The Siemon Law Firm was with me and my children every step of the way through my divorce. I felt they truly cared for my children and me. There were times they gave me information I didn't want, but I would rather them be honest about things instead of just telling me what I wanted to hear. My legal team kept me updated throughout my case and even provided me weekly updates on my account to make sure I had adequate time to review their billing even before being invoiced! These updates also helped me prepare for invoices so I was never blindsided. Yes, legal fees are expensive but you get what you pay for. When it comes to my children, I would rather pay more for better service than to pay less for a decent team. Their fees were thoroughly explained to me verbally and in writing before I even retained them so I knew exactly what to expect going in. What I didn't expect was all the information they provided me. I had high expectations for the outcome of my case and I not only ended up with everything my girls and I need, I ended up with much more than I even went in wanting. If you want a good solid team behind you, this is the team to go with!

After a consultation with The Siemon Law Firm, my husband and I paid a $4500 retainer to help with a petition for modifying a child custody agreement. By February, they were withdrawing from my case because they had used my entire retainer, apparently from email correspondence, and were requesting $4,500 MORE to continue to represent me. What did we get for $4500? A 'TEAM' of lawyers that filed a petition to modify child support on my behalf with a standing order to not leave the state. This is not a joke. $4,500 to file paperwork. My ex responded by getting his own attorney, just in time for me to be left with no representation in a custody battle for my children. The worst part? I find out in April about the standing order they filed in January to not leave the state after I brought my kids out of state to see my husband (He's in the Army and stationed outside of GA). They had 'sent it to the wrong email'. My husband LIVES OUT OF STATE and they failed to even inform me I couldn't leave the state? There are so many issues with this office and their 'TEAM' of attorneys but, I trusted this firm to represent me and they left me to not only fight for custody of my children alone and with zero representation, now I could even face jail time for leaving the state under this standing order I wasn't even informed about. If I could leave zero stars I would. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.

There is no negative stars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THIS LAW FIRM IS A JOKE! PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY OF THEIR ATTORNEYS!

I wish I had read a review about this attorney before hiring them and having what in my pure opinion was dismal representation. So I posted my review on another site, Avvo, Who after a three day review process then posted my review. After about 9 days on their site, my review of this law firm was taken down. So in addition to having a dismal experience with a law firm, I found the review process on Avvo to be not very reliable, and it appears to me that they take the influences from the lawyers who paid to be on their site and will remove negative posts from what appears to be influence from the lawyers in my pure opinion.

So, to restate my complaints here, this is the post that was removed from Avvo shortly after they approved it and posted it on their site.

I only wish I had found Jon Gregory's review before using this firm. Many of my experiences mirrored his. If considering a divorce attorney my only advice would be to shop around and get references. I dare say no more is I've already been told that the Siemen law firm will "pursue every legal option available" if I post my experiences, and what happened to me "was not their fault." Not even an I'm sorry for what happened. Great law firm... not... in my pure opinion.
