I see a few mixed reviews below, and I just don't get it. I purchased two very different pairs of glasses and lenses. One pair had more complexity, even further challenged because we are doing this all virtually. Cindy was beyond attentive, patient, gracious and helpful. I even believe that she had to fix something, but she never made that visible to me... it was just something I sensed. She put the customer first, and I now have TWO quality products, and I get compliments on both pairs of glasses all the time. I would definitely go back.

“Broken glasses, poor customer service”

I ordered a pair of frames from them and they arrived with a broken temple, it looks like someone else bought them, broke them and then returned them, then Simply. Eyeglasses turned around and sold them to me. When I emailed them about this they took days to respond, and then asked me to mail them back to them at my own expense. These are not expensive frames and the shipping and hassle makes it not really even worth it. I'd honestly avoid this company.

I have ordered my second pair from them within the 3 years and as the first I am very satisfied. On my first pair I was going for the lightest lens and customer service upon reviewing my prescription got in contact with me and advise me that I did not need the more expensive lens type because of my prescription, so that saved me money. The prescription and my frames came out perfect both times and I will be ordering from them again.

I received my glasses and I am very happy with how great they look. The customer service is wonderful. I am a very happy customer and would recommend this to anyone looking for quality glasses. Never going anywhere else. You guys are the best!

Wife and I went in in Dec 2017, purchased new glasses and also put new lenses in old frames. Awesome service, very experienced Opticians. They even replaced the nose pads on my older glasses. These folks have been in business for years and the service shows. Also the Lab is onsite, no mailing away to fill your lens and frame prescription. The creation of your new glasses takes place about 50 feet from where your order is taken.

Anyway, that my 2 cents. I am not a fake, paid review. This is real as it get folks!

I have used this Company many times over the past several years. I bring in my own frames and they put quality lenses in them. This Company has a very knowledgeable and efficient staff. One one occasion, they corrected a mistake my optometrist made and gave me new lenses at no cost. This is a company that operates in Florida and you're only dealing with American workers. I would highly recommend using them for all your eyeglass/sunglasses needs.

Purchased 3M EX550 frames as arms on old ones were busted off but Rx glasses ok. At a tad South of $60 with all costs applied I thought this was a good deal. I was mistaken. The first lens went in absolutely perfect, but the second lens did not as the screw was frozen and would not back out even with excessive force applied. This is a DEFECT, and frankly makes me wonder about 3M quality control... sigh, the new frames along with old ones and expensive Rx glasses are now in trash. UPDATE: I was pleasantly surprised to have received a call from Simply apologizing for defective frames and when I told them that I had already thrown them and Rx glasses away was offered 50% off a new Rx! I did not take them up on it as I felt that was over-board - I am not looking for handouts, just want what I paid for. At any rate I thought it was well above average these days for someone to call back and try to make things correct. Since I am seriously thinking I will give them (Simply...) another go I can not argue for anything less than 3-stars but not quite 5-stars given defective frame issue. If I buy from them again I will provide another rating based on that experience.

We purchased glasses there which were affordable and decent quality with one of the more expensive anti-reflective coatings. Two to three years later, the coating was peeling off and incredibly difficult to see through. Having had glasses for over 20 years, I've never experienced anything like this.

Apparently, this was a fluke and we were eventually able to have the lenses replaced at a discounted rate.

This is a great resource for eyeglasses... as long as you don't work with some moron named Linda. At first she was all smiles and promises. The moment we hit a bump in the order she disappeared, and when she DID answer my emails, it was as if she was answering the wrong email because she obviously didn't read a word of what I wrote.

HOWEVER! After I unloaded that weak link and started working with someone named MaryAnn... it was sunshine and lollypops.

Got my glasses yesterday. Look great. Fit great. MaryAnn expedited the order because Linda screwed it up so badly. I feel kind of privileged to have gotten them 4 days after MaryAnn fixed my order. Thank you MaryAnn!

I decided to try getting lenses put into frames that I already owned. I mailed my frames with prescription and all required information. The first time I received my glasses back from Simple Eyeglasses, the lenses were cut improperly and I could not see out of the lenses. I returned them to Simply Eyeglasses and they tried again. When I received the glasses back a second time I still could not see comfortably out of the lenses. I decided not to send back again because I blamed myself, thinking I could not get used to the style of lens that they use. I learned after the 30 day return window, from a local optician, that the lenses in the glasses were CUT CROOKED and there would be no way that I could see clearly out of the lenses. I was shocked and annoyed with myself for not having sent them back a second time but by then I was frustrated with the process and also doubting that the lenses were inaccurate. How could they have cut them incorrectly twice? When I called today to see if Simply Eyeglasses would credit me with something for their error they took over a week to review my request and called back saying that they "couldn't do anything for me because this was beyond the 30 day return window". I encouraged the customer service representative to re-state the response to be that they "wouldn't" do anything to rectify the situation because following the policy is a choice and a decision and not a requirement. I am disappointed in both their customer service and the quality of their technical staff and will never do business with them again and encourage others to be cautious. If you are local to the store perhaps the process would go better but to do this long distance is fraught with room for costly error.

I was so glad my eyeglasses finally arrived, opened the package and found they had sent my lenses in the wrong frame!`This means their frame supplier made a big mistake with the frame and that SE did not check the frame with my order before putting my lenses in them. SE told me nothing more than "we are human and make mistakes" several times. If you're taking hundreds of dollars to provide a medical product you should be professionals that take responsibility for their mistakes, not just "humans who make mistakes." There was no offer to compensate me in any way for their mistakes and the considerate delay. There was no responsibility to pressure the frame supplier to take responsibility for their mistake either. SE could have said - we'll stress to the supplier they need to expedite this order due to their mistake rather than take the usual "five days." So I had to go to the post office during the Xmas rush to send the glasses back - but she did not say anything like that. I hope that the frames got to SE within a couple days and that SE puts my lenses in those frames soon and then that the Xmas rush does not delay the glasses too long.

I have ordered lenses and complete eyeglasses from them and have been satisfied with the service. Last week I noticed a problem with sunglasses I ordered 14 months ago. They finish was wrinkled like a homemade car window tinting. I explained the issue and was told that was out of warranty. I was offered a coupon but did not receive one with the email. The lack of care was what burns me. They didnt call to get more info or to voice concern over the defect. I realize they have a warrany period, but the lack of concern tells me that this type of tinting defect is to be expected in their products. I have Rx glasses whose tinting is as clear as it was 12 or 15 years ago. My eyes have not changed but now I need a new exam to buy replacement glasses... it wont be with SimplyEyeglasses.com

I have ordered 4 pairs of glasses from these folks over the course of the last three years. The prices are very reasonable. I typically call my orders in as I like to chat with a sales associate first. The sales staff doesn't push allot of expensive add-ons which is nice. I give 4 stars only because they tend to be a bit slow in terms of getting the order out. It usally takes 5-10 days and I think this could be done faster. From what I could gather, they have to order the frames in and then send it to a lab to have the lenses done. I don't have beef with that-but it does slow things down a bit. Other than the time, I have always been satisfied and will continue to order glasses from them.

No confirmation email. I emailed them after 2 weeks to find out what was happening. No courtesy email to check my script - made the lenses with virtually no prescription - like looking through plain glass! $250 glasses I cannot use.
What about customer service & business ethics, Linda & Cindy?
I hope you sleep well at night rolling around in your cash...

I have had the most excellent care from Simplyeyeglasses.com. Everyone that i have dealt with on my 6 purchases has been intelligent, friendly and so kind! They care about getting your glasses exactly as you want them. You hear in this country that service is dead! Well it is alive and well at Simplyeyeglasses.com! Please try this company! You will be amazed at the high end level of service and their prices have everyone beat!

Would not order from this company. The website is outdated. Things have changed people we are in 2015. Very limited brands and from other reviews, it doesn't look like they provide good customer service. So off to Framesdirect.com I go.

If I could review them lower I would. I ordered my glasses last month and its been 30 days passed and I have not seen my purchase come through in the mail as promised. I don't know what's going on with this company but I regret dealing with them in the first place. I wonder if their using my info for fraud. Seriously, don't waste your time with this low brow business- you'll be waiting forever and damn pissed in the end.

As for all these positive reviews, I'm pretty sure they're all faked. Sadly, I'm honestly going through the same route as these one star reporters. Don't get stuck in the same headache position.

Tip for consumers:
They emailed me back through this site (to save face) and offered to help but I am still not getting an actual response. Again, this is all an act...

Worst experience I have ever had buying eyeglasses. Ordered them on 5/11 didn't receive them till 6/9. Emailed the company then spoke with the so called owner on the phone. Needless to say she was of no help. She had no problem raising her voice at me while on the phone but she couldn't keep her promise on the delivery date. The glasses that I received are awful... the left lens has writing on it. When you hold them up to the light you can see some sort of etching on the left lens. Horrible company and horrible customer service. DO NOT GET GLASSES FORM THIS COMPANY!

Found the frames I *******@Target, then found my savings at simplyeyeglasses, went back to tgt to negotiate a better price given they offer online price matching! Target bogus offer. Complete refusal! Ordered and received in 12 days. Had to mark the corrected bifocal line and send back for a redo. Another twelve day plus 5.15 click n ship postage to resend. I could not be happier with my glasses, my deal was the best. Now if I can find sun shades I would definately use simply eyeglasses again!

Ordered a frame that was "In Stock"... still waiting 12 days later. Finally received an email that her frame was sent out. Wonder how long it is going to be before we actually receive it... Terrible communication. Would not recommend to anyone!

I ordered a pair of Dereon eyeglasses in February 2011. When I placed this order I asked for dark shiny brown for the color, I was sent shiny black. I sent this company an e-mail about this problem on February 9,2011. I have not gotten a reply. I tried to call customer service for several days, the line is always busy. In fact all of the numbers listed are busy. If you want an order that is a hot mess, by all means give them your business. Now I am stuck with another black eyeglass frame. Sign me Pissed Off!

If I could give this review 10 starts I would! Everything about purchasing my eyeglasses from SimplyEyes was actually a pleasure and they are perfect! Cindy at Simply Eyes made me feel as though I was the only person she was working with and asked all of the questions I didn't even know I needed to answer in order to get a perfect look and fit and somehow managed to get them to me before I left for a trip and needed to be able to see! She researched frames to make sure I would love the look and I am recommending Simply Eyes to all my friends and family - and all the people who have admired my new glasses. THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

They lie about what items they have in stock and their shipping times. Before I ordered, my glasses were 'in stock' and one month later they are still on 'back order'. I regret giving them my business.

I'm suspicious of this site. I do not trust that "Keith Fritz" is the real name of the person who runs this business. This site has made several comments promoting themselves on "GetSatisfaction.com" which is another consumer advocacy site.

Prices are very good, quality is very good. I am very happy with the customer service. They are very nice and friendly. My insurance did not refund me for my glasses due to nonsense reasons. The customer service helped me get the documents needed to got my money back. Highly recommended for the price, quality and service.

After my yearly exam at a well-known local chain store optician, I was looking for an attractive sunglasses frame. I chose Very Bradley Evelyn in Heather. I was shocked and dismayed to discover that they wanted to charge me over $500 for these prescription sunglasses! It wasn't a difficult decision to go home, get online and find my frame somewhere more affordable. A Google search led me to simplyeyeglasses.com. I found the Vera Bradley frame in the color I wanted, entered my prescription information, chose my lens options and was extremely pleased to find that the total price for frame and lenses was less than half of the chain store's price! Customer service kept me updated on the status of my order, expected delivery date and answered emails promptly. I received my beautiful sunglasses today along with a gorgeous matching Vera Bradley clam case and cleaning cloth. I can't wait to wear these gorgeous sunglasses! They are perfect in every way and my prescription is absolutely accurate. This experience has exceeded my expectations in every way. I will definitely return for my future glasses and sunglasses needs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SIMPLYEYEGLASSES.COM! 5 stars plus!
