I really regret spending money on Tawkify. I had very simple preferences, for example to me matched w someone with similar political beliefs, and twice was matched with people with very different political beliefs. When I complained, both times I was told "The guy lied to your matchmaker, sorry, we do our best." Was also matched w someone with very different physical characteristics than I had requested and again was told "He lied to us, he used old pictures, sorry." So: Tawkify doesnt do a good job of screening matches. I can use hinge for free if I want to match with guys who lie to me. My expectations were totally unmet and I deeply regret the huge financial investment (approx $1,300 a match for 6 matches).

WHERE are people getting these "bargain" rates? I was quoted $70k, after a $10k retainer, for basically 1 intro/month for a year & no fall back or assurance that you will EVER meet any kind of match. When I inquired about that, the answer was I could sign up for more?! Insanity.

This is my second round with Tawkify. The first time around I had a really strong communicator matchmaker. I felt like she really wanted to help me and was great with check-ins. Nothing came out of all the dates I went on though. A few years later I figured I'd give it another shot and realizing that this service isn't for me. Some things to be aware of: 1) Your matchmaker WILL NOT BE LOCATED IN YOUR CITY OR STATE- this means they'll pick date locations that feel far and inconvenient 2) Because they don't live anyway near you, they don't really have a sense of what dating is like in YOUR area. 3) After that first video chat, you'll never actually see your matchmaker again. You can request a phone call after a date, but otherwise expect just to be texting to a generic number to communicate. 4) There's no real sense of personalization. Expect messages like- we found a date for you- here's their basic info- they like dogs, fresh air and eating food- you guys will be perfect. No explanation of why they picked this person for you. I think we can probably do better in terms of matchmaking services, but this ones fine.

I think this service could greatly benefit from an app. Based on the level of investment, I should never feel in the dark as to whether anything is happening or not. I was aggressively pressed to submit feedback from an initial date, but have received no such communication in return. I'm not sure what that means and I would expect at this level that ambiguity would not prove to be an issue. I guess I would prefer to know the status of things and occasional emailed communication do t provide that or any level of confidence on the contracted service.

I've been a paying customer for 10 months. I paid $6,800 for six matches. I've gone on 3 dates. Three dates in almost a year. Of the three dates 2 did not even come close to meeting my expectations and one was just okay. There is no incentive for matchmakers to match you in an expedited manner. The entire model is geared towards Tawkify taking your money and trapping you in a contract, then barely doing their part. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it, either. They have you by the purse strings. You are also more often than not matched with people who are not paying for the service. So they also have nothing to lose. You as a paying customer hold all the risk and the service is awful. I would steer very clear.

I paid around 8 K for 10 matches. I believe I only had 2 matches that turned into more than the first date. But none turned into anything more than going to a movie or dinner. Didn't turn out to be a match. I feel like a wasted a lot of money and time for nothing. I don't know how their matching system works but 2 out of 10. I guess that is where they get the 80% success rate.

Tip for consumers:
I wouldn't spend another dime with this company. they use statistics to sell you and those stats don't apply to me.

Not everyone cup of tea. But if you like to have a personal assistant to help you find love maybe this is a good way to filter the unwanted match, this is the one for you. All you have to do is be patient and lower your ecxpectations

I am at the beginning of the process. It's going well so far. I have had great conversations with my coach and my 2nd matchmaker. I was not happy with the first matchmaker, we just didn't click. I let the concierge know and they connected me with a new matchmaker that was a better fit. We'll see how it goes from here.

When I applied, I was assured there were eligible men in their database. They tried to upsell me to a personal matching service. I told them I wanted to see the quality of men before considering an upgrade. In 10 months I didn't hear a word from them. I reached out via email and never got a response. Don't waste your time or money.

Absolute scam.They lie from the get go. First, they say it is refundable it is not. As long as they give you matches they don't have to return your money. Second, they say both males and females pay, they do not. Females are allowed into their portfolio, and they will take anyone( and I mean anyone). Third, they don't match your preferences at all, they just give you anyone regardless of your preferences. Four, their matchmakers are not good, I cycled through 3 because each one was terrible. The girls on there are not cute, intelligent, and have more baggage than tinder chicks. It is not reputable and do no use this service. Once they get your money they are done with you. I filed multiple complaints and at the end they just said too bad do you want to extend.

I went on a date that was set up through Tawkify (I was not the member) and it became completely clear that the matchmaker was being deceitful when she was describing the date. Though, I suppose that was her job to make me get excited to go on the date. She described a lot of things about my date that were exaggerations to outright lies - from how they looked to their hobbies. I would not trust Tawkify with a dime of my money.

On September 15,2023 I purchased a "Client 3 Match Experience" for $4,100 to be matched with three dates in a year. The salesperson pushed for me to purchase the more expensive membership. However, Tawkify is unable to successfully match me with the thousands of dollars membership for which there is a guarantee and does not want to provide a refund; rather they want me to change my standards so they can provide a match based on who they currently have in their pool of matches.
The Salesperson intentionally made multiple false statements which I relied upon to make my decision to join Tawkify and to determine my selection criteria. Further, team members were aware of my current criteria and stated that if I cannot be matched that a refund would be provided. Based on my current criteria, I cannot be matched, so a refund should be provided. Yet, Tawkify wants to pair me with a new MatchMaker fully knowing this will never address the intentional false statements made by their, only a full refund would suffice.

Tip for consumers:
If you have a chance to look up the company prior to giving them your money, please do. If you find one bad review, chances are there are hundreds more. Do not fall for the deception.

Paid for three matches and they cannot even provide one match but refuses to provide a refund.

Although I really clicked with my initial contact she is definitely an excellent closer and some things about the process were definitely clouded. I liked her and enjoyed our time talking but wish there had been less sell and more info. Maybe I should have asked better questions.

Waste of time and money. During the pitch I was told how the process really looks to find the ideal match and takes all the qualities you mention into consideration. The dates are just local eateries that take reservations- not special curated dates as advertised.
The first matchmaker sent me on a first date that seemed thoughtful but ultimately didn't work. The next match was a complete mess. He canceled last minute but I was told I needed to let him reschedule or it counted against me. So we finally have dinner and it's not great. Pretty clear he lied about some things. He doesnt align with what I indicated was important to me. He doesn't follow the tawkify guidelines and then the matchmaker implies I'm bitter and just not liking that these aren't working out. Doesn't listen to me at all.
The company did give me a different matchmaker and an additional match which is why I gave 2 stars but otherwise they do not deliver.
I'm in an area with a high population but one of the dates I went on said he got called regularly to go out and he got the sense they didn't have a deep pool of candidates. I have to agree. The men I met didn't indicate they were at interested in anything meaningful with anyone. Free dating apps can give similar results without the blind date aspect.

I purchased the 6 date package late last year for $3500 and the initial experience was incredibly slow. My matchmaker found me about 1 date every 2 months and the match maker got fired or disappeared after the 2nd date. Also, before the 2nd real date we had somebody cancel at the last minute. The 1st and 2nd date were women I had no chemistry with.

The new matchmaker that replaced the other has basically been trying to force feed dates down my throat. I laid out my criteria and they pick out the bare minimum requirements of what I'm looking for and also try and get women older than what I set my age range at. The 3rd date I actually liked, but she didn't like me back. The 4th date the girl basically just started staring at the wall like she was bored out of her mind and I ended up not caring after. The 5th date showed up 10 minutes late and tried basically rushing so they could leave. I'm still waiting on the 6th date, but I'm not holding my breath.

Also, it's pretty clear that they're trying to treat this like speed dating. Literally the day after I finish my date they already have another person lined up. My guess is they just find the same girls and just throw them against a bunch of matches.

Also, the women they pick are not high quality at all. 3 of them were 28-30 year old women still living at home, 1 was incredibly overweight, and 2 I asked about the process from their PoV, and they just said that they get interviewed for 5 minutes before setting up a date.

The TLDR was this was 100% a waste of my money. I went with a matchmaker because I work 12-16 hour days and money isn't an issue so I thought they'd do the work so I don't have to sit on phone apps for hours a week. Nope, should have stayed on the apps.

I've been scheduled for two dates recently, and I wanted to share my experiences with you. Unfortunately, the first date was a no-show, and although the person did provide a warning beforehand, that information wasn't communicated to me. The second date was booked at a location that turned out to be closed for a while. Both instances required me to drive for over an hour one way, which, given my busy schedule and the need to arrange for a babysitter, has been quite challenging.

I understand that I don't live in a major city, but I also don't reside in a super small town. Thus, the significant travel time without actually meeting anyone has been less than ideal. However, I must mention that the coaching aspect of this experience has been a saving grace.

I appreciate your understanding and hope that we can improve the scheduling process moving forward.

Rachael Ogilvie is my matchmaker and I couldn't be happier I was matched with her. She is kind, empathetic, listens and adjusts well, and feels like a friend who is there with you every step of the way. Our first meeting, I just felt like she got me - and even if she didn't - she asked so many great questions and made sure she was understanding what I was looking for. Throughout the process, she has been communicative, enthusiastic, and supportive when things haven't worked out. She has even given a gentle push to meet people I wasn't quite sure about that ended up turning out great. Dating can be tough and I really feel like she has my best interest at heart and truly wants me to find love. Anyone who gets her as their matchmaker is in great hands!

Tip for consumers:
The refund policy is not very clear and hidden in their "fine print" so to speak. No one told me it was non-refundable and I felt like that was actually quite deceitful and misleading. I signed up thinking I could cancel and there were no exceptions. There is also a really strict 3 month pause feature in a few places. It wasn't very flexible.

Just be sure to find out ALL the information before signing up or giving a credit card at all.
