“SNYDER INTERNATIONAL LAW GROUP charges unnecessary and outrageously overpriced fees”

Johan Y.
1/9/17

My business partner and I were purchasing a property all cash in October 2016 and this company charged a Document Preparation fee of $500, which they would not disclose what it covers even when asked. When you are purchasing a property all cash, there is little documentation that needs to be done for the closing for the buyer. The company would not, under any circumstances, waive or mitigate the fees given the minimal amount of work that needed to be done for an all cash real estate transaction. Do not choose them if you are selling property as they will unfairly charge you and your buyers. Buyers encourage your sellers to use a different company and avoid this company at all costs! In Florida, you do not need a law firm for closing on real estate transactions. There are much better title companies out there that responsibly charge their clients for the work they do. Snyder International Law Group pads their other fees, in addition to their unnecessary Document Preparation Fee. They charge a ridiculously high (or completely unnecessary) fee for courier/FedEx/UPS, as well as Endorsement Fees, Recording Fees, E-Recording Fees (redundant), and Scan & Storage Fees. This companys goal is to over-charge their clients for every dollar possible, and they refused to explain the necessity of many of their fees. In our transaction, the work they did for us as buyers was minimal and yet charged us for all of these things! Many reputable websites call the Document Fee a junk fee, redundant, and borderline dishonest, especially with the automation of document creation done by computers these days. Do your research, know what you should and should not pay for when completing real estate transactions in Florida, and by no means, use this company for your closing! DON'T WASTE your hard-earned money!
